Chapter 395: Nevare’s Group Departure

(West Fortress, Bitter Maja)

(Nevare’s POV)

Nevare stared blankly at Artur as he walked out of her room. Artur turned back to look at Nevare with a hesitant expression, but Nevare quickly responded with a smile that made Artur smile in return.

Without waiting for Artur to say anything, Gupita shut the door. Nevare’s smile vanished, replaced by a look of disgust.

She quickly headed to the washroom, scrubbing her hands vigorously as if she had just touched something vile.

While she was busy cleaning himself, Moku suddenly embraced her from behind.

Moku kissed the top of Nevare’s head deeply, as if trying to inhale the fragrance of her hair. Instantly, Nevare’s human form shifted back to his Valkyrie form.

"Don’t ever ask me to do that again!" Nevare snapped bitterly.

"Sorry, but he’s our quickest way into human territory," Moku replied with a slight smile.

Nevare turned and hugged Moku tightly, like someone who had just been bullied and was seeking comfort from their partner.

"Didn’t you see how disgustingly he looked at me? Aren’t you jealous?" she asked.

Moku gently stroked Nevare’s silver hair and said, "Of course, I’m very jealous, and I swear he won’t die easily."

Nevare released her embrace and gazed intently at Moku. She tenderly caressed Moku’s cheek, her eyes filled with love.

"No, his life is mine. Even though I hate humans right now, I still have some affection for my family. I want to kill and consume them with my own hands. That way, Anna will truly be gone, and only Nevare, the one you love, will remain!"

Nevare’s voice was so resolute it made her body tremble. Moku nodded his smile unwavering.

They embraced tightly until the washroom door opened. Gupita stood there, watching the couple’s tender embrace, and didn’t want to be left out.

She approached and hugged Moku from behind. Moku released Nevare but immediately included Gupita in the embrace.

"I can’t believe he had such indecent thoughts about you, Nevare. No woman can match your beauty, but isn’t he related to you by blood?" Gupita said, frowning.

"That’s how disgusting humans are! We’re fortunate not to be the same species as them anymore. For a cleaner world, it’s our duty to eradicate them as quickly as possible!" Nevare replied with intense hatred.

Gupita nodded in agreement, the same hatred reflected in her eyes.

"Hey, hey, enough about other men. Isn’t your husband holding you both tightly right now?" Moku interjected.

Nevare and Gupita exchanged glances before bursting into laughter. Together, they led Moku to the bedroom to deepen their intimacy.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nevare stood with his back to the carriage, which was drawn by five mutated horses. In front of her, Moku gazed lovingly at his wife.

Moku stepped forward and once again pulled Nevare into his embrace. They had done this several times, delaying Nevare and the others’ departure.

"Contact me through Pandava if anything happens, okay?" Moku said, reluctant to let his wife go.

"Okay~" Nevare nodded and hugged Moku tighter.

This was probably the first time they would be separated for a significant period.

Since meeting Moku, Nevare had always been by his side. Although Moku often went to war, he had never left Nevare for more than a week.

With his current Padacakarma speed, Moku could travel thousands of kilometers in just a few seconds.

"Hey, stop it already! You’re making everyone else wait too long!" protested Nezena, tugging at the edge of Moku’s shirt.

Moku just smiled and released his embrace. He stepped back and looked at his wife, gently caressing her face.

His eyes were filled with love, mirrored in Nevare’s eyes. Their lips met, and their eyes closed.

For what felt like a long time to the onlookers, Moku and Nevare shared a tender kiss. Nezena’s brow furrowed deeper with jealousy burning in her chest.

Moku stepped back, marking the beginning of their separation.

Nevare nodded before turning and walking into the carriage behind her. Nash followed his mother and entered the carriage, closing the door behind them. They sat facing each other.

"Nash, take good care of your mother," Moku said to Nash.

"Don’t worry! I swear that no harm will touch a hair on her head as long as I breathe!" Nash responded, as if taking an oath.

Moku nodded and signaled the monsters in front to start moving. One of Moku and Nevare’s sons, Kuja, was the coachman and commanded the mutated horses to begin walking.

The other monsters accompanying Nevare’s visit began to follow from behind.

The group included eight human Valkyries, three Asura, eight Hobgoblins, and five Druids.

Moku and the others had carefully discussed who would join this visit. They couldn’t bring monsters that were too strong or too weak, which would arouse the Human Alliance’s suspicion.

Nevare’s entourage had to be proportionate, providing enough defense and the ability to handle any situation. The danger lay not only during their journey but also once they arrived in Human Alliance territory.

Every monster in the group understood that their true mission was to establish Pandava’s portal in the Human Alliance territory to initiate a massive war.

It was crucial for all of them to protect the portal from mage assaults until the entire Wilwatikta army could arrive.

Initially, Boku or Goku wanted to join the group. With their current strength, the monsters could withstand even a Level 5 Constellation Mage’s attack.

However, their faces were too well-known to the Human Alliance leaders. Their presence would heighten the leaders’ vigilance, risking the exposure of their plan before Nash could open Pandava’s portal.

As a result, only Nash, Kuja, and Acel, Nevare’s sons, were chosen to join the group. It made sense for them to accompany Nevare to visit their maternal grandparents.

The Hobgoblins and Druids in the group were also essential for masking Mana detection at the human border. Their Mana Flow would make the human mages perceive them as the primary threat, allowing Nash to slip past undetected and open Pandava’s portal.

Meanwhile, in the Wilwatikta Kingdom, Moku planned to recall some monsters currently fighting the demons.

He would leave Goku there to maintain the ruse, ensuring the Elf Alliance wouldn’t realize their shift in focus.

Moku and Ez directly oversaw the entire grand plan and details of the human attack, ensuring no detail was overlooked to avoid putting Wilwatikta in danger.

Moku declared this their first significant war against a Mana species. The skirmishes with demons were merely opportunities to collect demon and elf corpses.

However, the war against the Human Alliance aimed to eradicate the human species from the earth. Failure meant the complete annihilation of the monster species, hunted until they could no longer hide underground like ants, as they did before Moku’s rise.

Nevare understood the gravity of her mission, causing her face to pale as she moved further from Moku. This time, Moku could no longer protect and accompany her as before.

Once inside Human Alliance territory, she would truly be alone. Any misstep could endanger not only herself but also her three beloved sons.

"Mother, are you okay?" Nash asked, worried as he noticed Nevare’s pale face.

Nevare smiled at her worried son and shook her head. "I’m fine. It’s just that I don’t like being away from Moku, and it makes me anxious." 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Nash smiled, trying to reassure his mother. "Mom, it’s okay! Dad will come to see you, even if he has to cross a storm of arrows and a rain of fireballs!" he said confidently.

Nevare’s smile softened, no longer forced. "I know, I know."

They passed through the eastern gate of West Fortress and met Artur, who was waiting with his entourage. The monsters and humans mingled and greeted each other.

Without waiting for permission, Artur approached Nevare’s carriage and entered without a word. He sat beside Nevare casually and held her hand.

Nevare’s brow furrowed briefly, but she quickly controlled her emotions. Otherwise, she would have scorched Artur with her lightning power until he was ash.

Nevare brushed Artur’s hand away and quickly asked, "Artur, why are you in my carriage?"

"Ah? Sorry, sis, but wouldn’t it be better if we chatted during the journey? I know some really funny jokes, and you’ll definitely laugh!" Artur said confidently.

"Art—"

"Ah, uncle! I didn’t know you knew a lot of jokes?" Nash interrupted before Nevare could say something she shouldn’t.

Artur shifted his gaze from Nevare and frowned when he noticed Nash was also in the carriage. But he quickly smiled and said, "Of course, nephew. Your uncle here is a skilled mage and quite popular!"

"Wow! That’s so cool, uncle!" Nash exclaimed, his expression still relaxed. "Ah, uncle, more than that, I’d like to know about Heles City, the place we’re visiting."

"Hmm? Ah, Heles City is the birthplace of your mother and me. It’s a beautiful city, complete with mage towers all around!"

"Oohh... could you explain it in more detail?" Nash asked enthusiastically.

"Of course!" Artur replied eagerly. He then began to describe Heles City in great detail.

Nevare understood what Nash was trying to do and managed to control her disgust, allowing Artur to stay in the carriage.
