In Li Siru’s mind, there was still the image of her sister laughing and her cousin frantically pushing her out of the car.

"Where’s my cousin? Where’s my sister?" she asked anxiously.

Zhou Mingyu began to cry again, Mr. Li furrowed his brows, and a police officer cleared his throat, "I’m sorry, Miss Li, your sister is already... and we have not yet found your cousin’s body."

Li Siru picked up the phone and checked the message several times, "Why did she send you such a message?"

"Yesterday, your grandfather asked why you weren’t driving and yet were unscathed. Can you answer now?" Lu Beiyao stood up, looking down at her.

"I wasn’t driving, it was my sister!" Li Siru explained hastily, how could this be?

So later, when her sister let go of the steering wheel to use the phone, it was to send this message to Lu Beiyao?

Had she already prepared for death?

No way, why would her sister seek death?

"At this point, do you think I would still believe you?" Lu Beiyao’s gaze was void of emotion, "If I had believed her sooner, instead of you, she wouldn’t have confronted you, and nothing would have happened!"

Believe in her sister sooner instead of her?

Does that mean when her sister approached him, he still trusted her?

Hope sparked in Li Siru’s heart; she stood up and grabbed Lu Beiyao’s arm, "Lu Beiyao, believe me, I really wasn’t the one driving. It was my sister driving my car, I was in the back with my cousin. I survived because my cousin pushed me out before the car crash!"
