Chapter 317: Chapter 317: The Aftermath of Passion

After taking the trouble to rely on Julian’s pretty five fingers to resolve his urgent needs, Ethan Caldwell picked him up and carried him into the bathroom for a brief soak in the bathtub. Because this villa was not a place Ethan Caldwell frequented, he hadn’t hired many domestic helpers. There were certain things, like cleaning up the mess the two of them had just made on the bed, that were simply inconvenient to leave to outsiders.

It was also out of the question to ask Helen Lloyd or Colin Grant to come up and clean. These people were trustworthy, but their job descriptions did not include clearing the scene after their boss had satisfied his desires.

Ethan Caldwell had no choice but to take matters into his own hands and do everything himself. He gently laid the person in his arms down on the soft mattress for a moment and carefully stepped into the spacious bathroom.

After drawing a moderate amount of warm water into the tub, he reached his hand down to test the temperature, ensuring it was neither too hot nor too cold for Julian’s skin. Next, he took a gentle jasmine-scented bath bomb that Julian absolutely loved and dropped it in. The water turned a pale hue as soft bubbles rose to the surface, carrying a crisp fragrance that somewhat dispelled the lingering exhaustion. Only then did the man return to pick the younger man up, carefully lowering him into the warm water.

Once he was certain that Julian had securely leaned his back against the soft edge of the tub, completely safe from slipping down, Ethan thoughtfully placed a small towel behind his neck. Ethan Caldwell looked with satisfaction at Julian closing his eyes to relax, before stepping outside to begin cleaning up the messy scene on the large bed.

The thick blanket, the wrinkled bedsheets, and the pillows soiled during their lovemaking were decisively stripped away by him and thrown straight into the corner of the room, gathered into a pile. He would just have someone take them away to be washed tomorrow morning.

Fortunately, Ethan Caldwell was not the type of wealthy young master who never lifted a finger for household chores all year round, knowing nothing at all. His movements were decisive and proficient. He retrieved brand-new bedsheets, a fresh blanket, and soft pillows from the large wooden wardrobe drawer, quickly replacing them and smoothing out the bed. As for the toys the two of them had used just now, which were scattered everywhere, he calmly sorted them. Anything broken or meant for single use was tossed straight into the trash can; whatever could be kept for next time was wiped clean and neatly tucked away in the bedside table drawer.

The half-burned stimulating candle on the table, meant to enhance their mood, was also extinguished; he waited for the wax to cool down a bit before throwing it directly into the trash bin to prevent an overly strong scent from lingering.

The man’s cleaning speed was very fast, and in no time, the room had returned to its neat appearance. Ethan Caldwell reached out and turned on the room’s air purifier to completely dispel the remaining ambiguous scent, while adjusting the air conditioner’s temperature slightly higher to keep the space warm, then turned around and headed back into the bathroom.

The person in the bathtub was still resting with his eyes closed. They had played fiercely on the bed earlier, but in truth, Julian didn’t hold as much semen inside him as he usually did, which fortunately saved a lot of time and effort for deep cleaning. Ethan Caldwell took a soft washcloth, patiently and carefully wiping away every trace of dried wax oil clinging to Julian’s fair skin. Every single movement of his was incredibly gentle and cautious, afraid of hurting him.

Only after finishing taking care of Julian did he stand up under the showerhead, hurriedly washing his own sweat-drenched body, before grabbing a bath towel to dry them both off and carrying Julian outside. Because he had previously adjusted the air conditioning to be warmer, the air wasn’t too cold when they stepped into the bedroom, just enough so Julian’s body wouldn’t shiver.

Ethan Caldwell simply climbed into bed and embraced Julian, intending to get a very good sleep.

But the man tossed and turned restlessly, before suddenly remembering that it was daytime.

He didn’t have the habit of taking afternoon naps, so it made sense that he couldn’t fall asleep right now. Ethan Caldwell held his whole world in his arms for a moment, then lowered his head to press a kiss against Julian’s forehead. The young man slept very obediently; because he had moaned and cried quite a bit earlier, his eyes were slightly swollen, his lips were red, and they even curled up slightly as he slept...

Unable to hold back, he kissed those pretty lips one more time.

Finally, filled with lingering reluctance, he climbed out of bed, casually threw on a set of silk pajamas, and opened the door to step outside.

Ethan Caldwell instructed the servants to be careful not to make noise near his room, gave Colin Grant a few work instructions, and then took the elevator straight to Kieran Talbot’s room.

He knocked loudly on the door twice.

"I hear you, I hear you, I’m not deaf, so why knock so hard? If your desires aren’t satisfied, go find your Jules. Let him coax you, because I don’t have the free time to entertain you." Kieran Talbot hadn’t even opened the door yet, but his grumbling could already be heard from inside. Accompanying it was the sound of shuffling footsteps on the floor. By the time the door clicked open, seeing Ethan Caldwell dressed in pajamas with his chest exposed, revealing several bright red, ambiguous marks freshly acquired in bed, he couldn’t help but click his tongue in judgment, his eyes carrying a trace of speechlessness: "Do you two have a hobby of taking turns getting drugged lately? Don’t you have any other, more novel scripts?"

Ethan Caldwell didn’t mind in the slightest, simply giving a shrug: "What can I say, it was an accident."
