The Rich Cultivator
Chapter 602. Two Months Later
"It’s been two months since we last visited this place..." Volks said quietly.
He slowed his steps as he spoke, eyes fixed on the path ahead. Beside him, Fred nodded in agreement, his usually unreadable expression showing faint caution. Behind them walked Kei and Wei, followed by two more villagers. All of them carried baskets and sacks filled with goods— herbs, dried foods, tools, and small trade items gathered from the Wandering Village.
The forest ahead felt... different.
Kei was the first to voice it.
"Is it just me," she asked softly, "or does this place look slightly larger than before?"
She looked around with open awe. The familiar trees were still there, but the spacing felt wider, the paths clearer, as if the land itself had been gently pushed outward.
"He extended his territory," Fred muttered, breaking his usual silence.
No one disagreed.
Soon, the fence came into view.
But it wasn’t the same fence they remembered.
It stretched farther now—farther than before—winding naturally along the terrain, even incorporating trees into its boundary. The wood looked older, sturdier, yet strangely alive.
The gate opened.
"Welcome."
Chole stood there, smiling warmly.
Volks and the others paused.
For a brief moment, surprise flickered across their faces. They couldn’t quite explain it, but something about her felt different. Stronger. More stable. Her presence carried a calm confidence that hadn’t been there before.
They had already warned the others before coming: don’t disrespect anyone here.
Now they understood why.
As they stepped inside, their surprise only deepened.
The territory was alive.
Giant butterflies drifted lazily between the tall flowers, their wings glowing softly in the light. Large honey bees hovered nearby, landing on blossoms and honeycombs without a hint of aggression.
There were No hostility nor cautious. Just harmony.
Near one of the trees, another cow demihuman girl worked calmly. She was collecting a honeycomb, crushing it gently into golden liquid inside a mud pot. The bees hovered nearby, but none of them attacked or even reacted.
She noticed the visitors.
Smiled.
Without saying a word, she poured the fresh honey into another cup that already contained milk. She added a few herbs, stirred it carefully, then carried it away.
Toward a flat bedrock.
There, Tyler lay lazily, one arm behind his head, eyes closed as if enjoying the breeze.
The girl handed him the cup.
Tyler opened his eyes, smiled faintly, and took it.
He drank slowly, savoring the taste.
Then he sighed.
"The plants in the fields are giving too little EXP," he said casually. "I need more new types of seeds."
Only Tyler would complain about too little EXP while lying in a place like this.
Kristina approached him.
"The visitors are here," she said politely.
Tyler lifted his head slightly and looked in their direction.
"Bring them here," he replied.
Chole gestured for the group to follow.
As Volks, Fred, Kei, Wei, and the others walked deeper into the territory, they felt it clearly now.
---
"You guys are late," Tyler said casually as he took another sip of the herb-mixed honey milk.
The sweet, warm liquid slid down his throat, carrying a faint earthy bitterness from the herbs. He leaned back slightly against the bedrock, looking far more relaxed than someone who had just scolded a group of explorers.
Volks lowered his head apologetically.
"We’re really sorry. You remember that giant explosion we heard two months ago? Because of that, a lot of monsters migrated from that direction. Our village had no choice but to move again—just a little, but it still delayed us."
Tyler hummed thoughtfully, he didn’t even look at them and asked, "So you found out the reason for that commotion?"
Kei nodded, her eyes lighting up slightly as if recalling fresh gossip, "They say it was a clash between a demon general and the hero party."
Fred snorted quietly, "From what we heard, the hero party was almost useless."
Kei continued, lowering her voice dramatically,
"In the end, the princess herself had to intervene. She used a magic cannon to stop it."
"Oh..." Tyler muttered, pausing mid-sip.
"Magic cannons..."
He didn’t comment further, - the explosion, the migrating monsters, the sudden instability of surrounding territories. So even the ’heroes’ aren’t doing well, he thought.
Both demons and kingdoms won’t try to attack the forest, because it’s waste of time. There are many tribes in the forest they don’t belong to both kingdom or demon kingdom. Whatever happens there has nothing to do with Tyler.
As the conversation continued, the villagers’ attention drifted away from Tyler.
Their eyes were drawn toward the center of the territory.
A small pond lay there, its surface shimmering gently under the light. Fish swam lazily beneath the clear water, occasionally breaking the surface with small ripples.
The explorers froze.
"...Was that pond there before?" Wei whispered.
Volks frowned. He was certain, "No. There was nothing here before."
Even if Tyler had dug a pond himself, that raised another question—where did the water come from? This area wasn’t close to any natural spring.
They didn’t know.
They couldn’t know.
Tyler had simply scooped up river water using his pocket dimension pearl and poured it here—along with the fish. Simple. Efficient. Almost absurd.
The villagers shook off their confusion and began unloading their goods.
"Because of the migration," Volks said carefully, "our stocks are pretty low right now. But we brought as many things as we could."
One by one, items were placed on the ground.
Herbs bundled in cloth. Dried roots.
Small tools. Preserved ingredients. Seeds and a some magical plants that are glowing and brimming with Mana.
Tyler eyes drawn towards those magical plants it’s not easy to get those. Most of them are guarded by monsters in the forest. Some monsters will eat them as soon as they find them. Tyler was pretty sure his exp will sky rocket once he started to plant these.
"And here," Volks added, holding up a small container, "is a portion of pink salt."
Kei spoke up, clearly proud. "It’s extremely rare. Only two places in the entire world produce it. It tastes better than regular salt."
Chole and Kristina watched with shining eyes as the items piled up. They exchanged small glances, clearly impressed.
After everything was placed down, Volks hesitated.
Then he bowed slightly.
"Because of the migration," he said, voice strained, "our village is short on food. If possible... could you help us by providing some?"
Tyler blinked. 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
Then his eyes lit up.
Truthfully, he had been worrying about exactly that—where to store or distribute the ever-growing harvests from his fields. His crops had grown far faster than expected. He doesn’t want to dump on the river as before.
Now?
This was perfect.
"Don’t worry," Tyler said seriously, standing up. His voice carried a quiet sense of conviction.
"I don’t want to see village tribes die out of starvation.."
The explorers stiffened.
"So just empty as much food as you can carry from my fields," he continued calmly. "Take whatever you need."
For a moment, no one spoke.
Then the villagers’ eyes trembled.
Gratitude welled up so strongly that a few of them nearly cried on the spot.
"T-Thank you..." Volks said hoarsely.
"We’ll never forget this."
There were many times people died because of shortage of food. Especially during migration and winter.
Kei looked at Tyler differently now— not just respect, but genuine admiration shining in her eyes. But then she looked at the two cow girls, her mouth twitched, she was worried because there are no cow girls in her village, what kind of women she should send to show their gratitude?
"Just place your items inside my house and start the work," Tyler added simply, as if what he had offered wasn’t extraordinary at all.
The villagers nodded repeatedly, thanking him again and again as they moved to follow his instructions.
After sometime,
Tyler entered the house and closed the door , while villagers are busy in field.
Inside the house, it was quiet.
Serena was curled up near the corner, her chubby body rising and falling with slow breaths. Dia rested, her small white form tucked comfortably, above her.
"These two sleep a lot," Tyler muttered.
But his attention quickly shifted.
There was something else he wanted to see.
Tyler sat down and opened his status window.

To this.
He glanced toward the fields outside from the window, where villagers were already beginning to harvest under Chole’s guidance.
"Hmm... It’s not been a 6 months... Isn’t my copper pot is too op?" Tyler muttered.
