While looking at my now perfect Status Window, I strolled through the bustling streets of the capital with my hands casually tucked into the pockets of my silver coat.

The divine city had changed a lot in the past year, or maybe it was just me who saw it differently now.

The air felt much lighter and purer than before.

The people moved with more confidence, but now, no one dared look at me with anything other than respect or quiet awe.

A year had passed since I devoured Nyarlathotep.

Nothing too dramatic had happened since then. No world-ending threats or sudden invasions.

Just... peace.

The kind of peace I never thought I’d get for such a long span of time... funny, isn’t it?

Despite being a god... I still think that a single year is a lot of time, maybe because during most of my reincarnations, a whole year was enough for me to experience what normal gods experience in thousands of them.

"Haah... the weather’s pretty nice today."

I exhaled slowly, watching the floating lanterns drift lazily above the crowded streets.

My organization, which was now officially called Crimson Moon, had grown into something monstrous.

We were no longer just a mere organization, but had turned into a faction.

The strongest power across the entire Divine Realm.

We had absorbed what remained of the old Primordial Court, taken control of key territories, and even formed a solid alliance with Olivia’s faction.

Olivia herself had been... enthusiastic about the partnership.

To put it mildly.

My lips curled up into af aint smile as I remembered how she had "celebrated" the alliance by showing up at the palace wearing nothing but a ribbon and a very confident smile.

The girls had mixed reactions; some laughed, some got jealous, and some (mostly Mia and Lilith) joined in the chaos.

I still had the scar on my shoulder from when Christina got a little too possessive that night.

Funny how things worked out.

I continued walking, nodding politely at the merchants who bowed deeply when they saw me. No one dared provoke Crimson Moon anymore.

I was now officially recognized as one of the strongest gods alive. Maybe even the strongest.

And yet... I still hadn’t found what I was looking for.

I spent most of my time searching for Elleonora and Chronos. I also poured everything I had into locating the exact place where Luna was sealed.

I wanted to reunite with her more than anything. But every lead turned into a dead end, and every time I got a clue... it disappeared like smoke.

It was frustrating.

Still, life wasn’t all bad.

The girls kept me both grounded, ahem... and entertained.

Just last week, Zeva and Yara had gotten into another ridiculous fight, this time over who could carry me the farthest while I was pretending to be unconscious.

They ended up destroying half the training grounds. Alaine had scolded them for thirty straight minutes while secretly healing their wounds.

Lumi had taken to hiding in my shadow whenever she wanted cuddles, which led to some very awkward moments when I was in important meetings.

One time, she popped out during a strategy session and declared loudly that I needed "emergency snuggles".

The look on everyone’s faces was priceless.

Christina still got jealous whenever any of the others got too close, but she had started a cute little habit of leaving handwritten love notes in my coat pockets.

I found one yesterday that simply said "Mine ♡" with a little doodle of her smacking Mia away. I still smiled every time I reread them.

Vivian remained the calm center of everything.

She was the only one who could get all the girls to behave when they started fighting over who got to sleep next to me.

Last night, she simply walked in, said "Bedtime rota," and everyone instantly lined up like obedient children.

I still don’t know how she does it.

Even Chaerin had grown much more relaxed.

She no longer hesitated to call me "Papa" in front of the others, even though she had the appearance of a girlfriend instead of a daughter.

The way she would quietly crawl into my lap during quiet evenings and fall asleep against my chest... it made something inside me feel warm in a way I couldn’t describe.

I guess this is how it feels to have a daughter, huh?

But even with all of this... my mind wasn’t fully at peace.

I still had one final piece of revenge left. 𝗳𝚛𝚎𝚎𝘄𝕖𝕓𝕟𝕠𝚟𝚎𝕝.𝗰𝕠𝐦

Chronos.

Once I killed him, everything would be over.

My mind would finally be quiet. Then I could spend the rest of my infinite life with the woman I loved without any shadows hanging over us.

I stopped near a small fountain, watching the water sparkle under the artificial sunlight.

A soft smile touched my lips as I thought about them again.

Yeah... once Chronos was gone, I’d take them all on another date.

A proper one this time... maybe taking one by one instead of everyone, so they all could get the attention they deserve.

I kept walking through the lively streets of the capital, the afternoon sun warm on my face.

The scent of street food and blooming spirit flowers filled the air.

Until I suddenly felt a familiar presence behind me.

I didn’t even need to turn around.

"Seraphiel... what is it?"

The sound of knees hitting the stone pavement came immediately. I stopped walking and finally turned.

Seraphiel was already kneeling perfectly on one knee, head bowed low, her six wings folded tightly against her back.

Even in the middle of a busy street, she looked like a knight swearing fealty. A few passersby glanced at us curiously but quickly looked away when they recognized me.

"I’ve found... the four targets you asked me to find, my Lord," she spoke in a calm but respectful tone.

My heartbeat picked up slightly.

I turned fully toward her.

"Tell me."

Seraphiel kept her head lowered as she spoke.

"First of all... Selindra, the Goddess of Fidelity. I managed to locate her body. Unfortunately... she’s dead. Her corpse was discovered in the ruins of an old temple on the border of the Forgotten Expanse. It looks like she was killed a long time ago..."

My face didn’t change much as I had expected something like that. After all... she went to find the Primordial Court’s main base with her weak power.

I simply nodded once.

"And the others?"

Seraphiel hesitated for half a second.

"As for the remaining three... it appears they are all at the same place."

I raised an eyebrow in genuine surprise.

"Same place?"

"Yes, my Lord." She finally lifted her head slightly, mismatched eyes meeting mine.

"In the Far North. There have been rumors spreading for months now... whispers of a new pantheon appearing in the frozen wastes beyond the Eternal Veil. A hidden domain that wasn’t there before. The locals call it the ’Silent Pantheon.’"

A pantheon in the Divine Realm?

That didn’t make sense... after all, pantheons are made to worship gods..., but then my mind prickled.

Outer Gods.

I understood instantly.

Seraphiel then continued:

"And that pantheon... has the remnants of Luna, the Goddess of the Moon... Elleonora, the Goddess of Magic... and Chronos, the God of Time."

The words settled heavily between us.

I stood there for a moment, actually taking the time to think about her words.

Luna... Elleonora... Chronos.

All three in one place.

Finally... I’ve found them.

I exhaled slowly through my nose.

"Prepare yourself then," I waved my hand.

"We’ll be going there in just a few hours."

Seraphiel bowed her head even lower, her wings trembling slightly with restrained excitement and loyalty.

"As you order, my Lord."

She stayed kneeling until I gave her a small nod, then rose gracefully and vanished in a flicker of light and shadow, heading off to prepare.

I stood alone in the middle of the street for a few seconds longer, the noise of the capital slowly filtering back into my ears.

People walked around me, laughing, bargaining, living their lives.

A year of searching.

A year of dead ends.

And now... everything was finally coming together in one place.

I turned and slowly began walking back toward my palace.

Inside, though?

I was already sharpening my swords.
