The System Sent Me to Breed an All-Female Amazon Tribe
Chapter 359: The Thing About Vaelora and Pregnancy
Sakura smiled devilishly, her amber eyes glinting with mischief.
She reached over to pull Titania’s cheek playfully, stretching the soft skin between her fingers.
"ALL of us, Violette-chan? I think you might be slightly mistaken about that particular detail. Perhaps you should take a closer look before making such bold claims about the entire group."
"Geeeeez! Would you stop that already?" Titania pouted and shrugged off Sakura’s hand from her cheek, rubbing the reddened skin with her palm. "Get off my back, would you? In no time at all, I’ll also be heavy with child, just like the rest of you. But you don’t always need to rub it in my face that I’m currently the only one without one."
Violette tilted her head in mild confusion, her dark eyes blinking slowly at the fairy queen.
"What do you mean, Sakura?" Violette asked, "All of you are pregnant. I can sense it clearly. Even Princess Lily, standing over there, is carrying an extra soul."
"Eh?!" Princess Lily, who had been standing near the entrance some feet away with her usual composed and professional demeanor, nearly leaped completely out of her own skin at Violette’s words, her red eyes going wide and her small body tensing with shock. "That cannot be correct! I have never... I mean, Benjamin and I have never..."
Sakura and Elara turned their heads in unison to look at Titania closely, examining every inch of her small body with intense and focused attention, their eyes scanning her form from head to toe and back again.
"Wow... Now that I look properly, it is correct!" Elara said, her voice filled with amazement, as one small vein popped on her forehead, betraying her calm exterior. "Titania is truly pregnant. I cannot believe I did not notice it before."
Sakura grabbed the fairy’s shoulder strongly with one hand, her grip firm and unrelenting, her smile stiffening into something painful to look at. "Y... Yaaaay!! What wonderful news! Congratulations, Titania, you will have yet ANOTHER child birth for our beloved Benjamin. How... pleasant and exciting for all of us..."
"B... Both of your eyes are saying a completely different thing, though," Titania looked away in awkwardness, refusing to meet their gazes. "I can just feel the jealousy radiating off both of you. But really?! Maybe it’s because he fucked me two days ago?"
"Language, Your Majesty. There is no need for such coarse words in polite company," Vaelora scolded from the entrance where she was standing with the still-shocked Lily, her voice calm as always.
"Che-che-che!" (This is the sound of Titania’s mocking laughter, enjoy) She stuck her tongue out at Vaelora playfully. "Ara? I see no weight in that flat belly of yours, Vaelora! Not even a hint of growth! Could it be that... you didn’t get pregnant at all, and are simply pushing that dark and jealous energy my way because you cannot stand my success?" 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎
Sakura and Elara, for some reason, took significant emotional damage from that statement.
Even though it was clearly directed at Vaelora.
Their faces fell, their shoulders slumped, and they both looked away with expressions of wounded pride.
"I am more than happy to only be of use to Master Benjamin in whatever capacity he requires of me," Vaelora politely replied, her voice not rising or falling, and her expression unchanged. "However, I do not view getting pregnant as a sport that I must compete in and win against others."
Once again, Sakura and Elara took damage from Vaelora’s calm and reasonable statement, flinching as if they had been physically struck.
Vaelora continued speaking, unaware of the emotional devastation she caused. "Besides, I am different from a normal individual in many fundamental ways, as all of you must already know. My body was not formed naturally, and it does not function exactly like a normal woman’s body would. I believe it is impossible for me to get impregnated."
Violette nodded in agreement with Vaelora’s assessment, her expression thoughtful and analytical.
"Yes, I can sense what you mean. I cannot fully explain the mechanics of it, but your vessel is created in a peculiar and unusual manner," she began. "There is something about its construction that resists the normal processes of life creation. But... I don’t think you’re completely incapable of getting pregnant. The chances of success are just astronomically low, perhaps one in a million or even rarer than that."
"Ah, thank you for that small glimmer of hope, Lady Violette. I will hold onto it, even if it is just a tiny spark," Vaelora smiled and bowed respectfully to the horned woman, gratitude evident in her usually blank expression.
"Hmph! Sucks to be you, then! I will enjoy my pregnancy and growing belly while you remain empty and flat forever~" Titania was about to continue her playful bullying of Vaelora, but the woman’s emotionless glare slowly turned to face the fairy queen, and the words died in Titania’s throat.
"But there is something else," Violette continued, still observing Vaelora with curious eyes. "I believe Benjamin himself will find it impossible to impregnate you, no matter how many times he try."
"Eh?" Sakura felt genuinely sad by the idea, her fox ears drooping and her tail sagging. "That is quite depressing news for Vaelora, is it not? Why is that the case?"
Violette explained her observation carefully. "It looks like... Vaelora and Benjamin are using the same body?"
"Why are you asking me?" Sakura asked back, confused by Violette’s questioning gaze.
"Hehehe!" Vaelora giggled softly, dropping her professional and stoic act for a brief second, and the women there — even the stiff dryad who had been hovering nearby trying to please the queen with refreshments — all blushed deeply and paused in their movements, stunned by the unexpected cuteness of the usually emotionless woman’s laughter.
Vaelora started explaining, her voice warm and fond as she recalled the memory. "Lady Violette is completely correct in her assessment of my situation. I used to reside inside Her Majesty’s body for a very long time, always longing for the day when I would have my own physical form to inhabit and move around in.
"But my soul was weak and fragile in those days, too delicate to survive on its own, and not just any vessel would be able to hold me without my soul eventually drifting into nothingness or driving me mad from the incompatibility.
"So I gave up on that dream entirely. I accepted my fate as a passenger in someone else’s body, and I tried to make peace with it. But Master Benjamin... he took parts of his own flesh and blood, tearing them from his body and using them as materials.
"So he created a vessel specifically designed to hold my soul. That is why all of you can see me here today, standing before you like this, instead of simply hearing my voice from inside someone else’s head. I am eternally happy and completely satisfied with this privilege that he gave me, so...
"Queen Sakura, please do not be sad on my behalf, for I cannot properly express how much joy it brings me every single day that I can serve Her Majesty physically."
