Princess Lily had also been told to go back with him, taking the Amazon Elowen, one of Lotus’s daughter, alongside some other Amazons to Shishi-no-su for diplomatic delegations and cultural exchange.

In turn for him leaving, Tensei had sent one of his trusted agents to Verdant Spire—a deer beastkin girl with soft brown eyes and gentle manners—to replace the aid that was being sent away, ensuring that Sakura still had some support while staying in the Amazon village.

"What are you talking about, Elara-chan? Do you really think I would just stand back and watch while you face danger alone?" Sakura scoffed, also locking eyes with the intruder standing several feet away from the entrance to the forest, her amber gaze sharp and unyielding. "As if I would let my adorable sister face such a monster all by herself without anyone at her side.

"Besides... there is an eighty percent chance this individual has come here to deliver retribution and punishment to our beloved Benjamin..."

"With the sky tearing beam that he displayed for the entire world to see?" Elara chuckled lightly, her silver eyes never leaving the stranger’s face. "It is unnaturally strange that this would be the first confrontation we have faced about that incident, yet. I was expecting someone to come knocking much sooner than this."

Sakura was dressed in a deep red gown, layered with Amazonian patterns and designs that had been stitched into the fabric by skilled hands, the red matching the pink of her hair in a striking way.

She stood with her hand fan open and ready, looking off from the armored Amazons who were positioned everywhere around the entrance, her posture relaxed but her senses alert.

Elara was dressed in a silver and black suit of armor that gleamed under the morning light; the armor covered her arms completely, her shoulders, her legs, and her chest with thick plates of enchanted metal.

However, her cleavage was still open to the air, her midriff was exposed, and her thighs were displaying her brown skin.

That was because that armor was of divine-grade, belonging to the Queen before her, and could protect her vital areas while still preserving her allure and her freedom of movement.

Marina was in her usual political diplomatic attire, the kind of clothing more native to the human kingdoms than to the Amazons.

But this particular outfit was in a battle style, modified for combat rather than conversation.

She stood close to Elara with a red spear in her hand, the tip gleaming, but she was positioned closest to the invader out of anyone in the formation, ready to strike first if necessary.

Sara, Lotus, and the other Amazons were also in attendance, spread out in a wide arc around the entrance, and they were ready for an all-out war with this strange individual who had appeared without warning.

Said individual did not come with any drawn or visible weapons, nor did she have a hostile magic emitter glowing on her body to prove her hostility or her intentions.

She simply appeared in the Whispering Wilds, near the entrance of Verdant Spire, standing on the tall brown grasses.

And everyone who felt her got chills running down their spines and were ready for a death battle before a single word was spoken.

"Intruder, you should know that this is the jurisdiction and territory of the Amazons," Marina began speaking to the stranger, her voice cold and formal, her eyes fixed on the intruder’s face. "We have not given you permission to enter our lands or approach our village. Identify yourself and state your business here immediately, or we will be forced to treat you as a hostile invader." 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

The stranger was a woman, which much of was clear from her figure and her features:

She had bright yellow pupils that seemed to glow faintly in the light, with dark hair flowing down to her knees like a waterfall of shadow.

Her skin was pale enough for one to think she was a corpse that had somehow risen from the grave.

Yet she had the youthful appearance of a young woman just entering full maturity, perhaps in her early twenties by human standards.

Her face had delicate feminine features and an unnaturally pretty quality to it, the kind of beauty that seemed almost painful to look at directly.

She had fairly sized breasts, a super figure that curved in all the right places, elongated dark nails that looked more like claws than fingernails, and a dark brown sheet that she used to wrap herself loosely.

Even if the thin fabric did only a little to hide her lower half from view.

"..."

The stranger said nothing back to Marina in response.

She only stared without emotion at the assembled Amazons, her yellow pupils moving slowly across their faces as if she were counting them or memorizing their features.

Why were they really so scared of her then, if she was not attacking?

She looked like a lost girl in her early twenties, if one was willing to ignore her pale skin, her dark claws, and her unsettling stare.

Otherwise, one should be looking at her like a beggar who had wandered into the wrong place by accident.

Well, the truth was; the magic power erupting from her body was a storm, a hurricane of energy that pressed against the senses of everyone present.

It easily surpassed Elara the Amazon Queen, who was known to have the most magic power in Verdant Spire out of all the Amazons, excluding Benjamin. He is in a category of his own.

And what was more concerning and alarming than her raw power was that this stranger had the otherworldly demeanor of the beings from the celestial plane, the kind of presence that made even Sakura move carefully.

Why else would a god or a high-level spirit come all the way to the remote Whispering Wilds?

The answer was simple and understandable: Benjamin had literally tried to destroy the world some days ago, had come very close to actually doing so.

And that event had taken place right here, in this region, near this village.

Investigation from higher powers was inevitable and expected.

However, the Amazons and Sakura refused to allow it to stand without challenge.

The gods and spirits were extremely arrogant, as seen by how Marina was completely ignored by the stranger, and they might decide to become judge and executioner rather than merely investigator.

That could not be allowed to happen in their home.f
