The Villainess Winning Back Her Beast Husbands
Chapter 183: The Whole Family is Beautiful
Evangeline rubbed her brow. Cradling the soft little Bunny, she asked gently, "How about Mommy gives you a bath?"
Bunny blinked her long, beautiful eyes, her small face wrinkling with indecision. Finally, she gave a reluctant nod, her young voice laced with anxiety. "O-Okay, but Mommy, you have to be really fast."
As soon as she was in the water, the little girl clung to the side of the wooden tub like a frightened critter, her pointed beastman ears standing on end as if she’d been spooked.
Evangeline found it rather funny. She gently combed her fingers through the girl’s silver hair. ’Maybe beastmen with fur just don’t like water?’
She used some baby body wash to get Bunny squeaky clean and smelling sweet, then scooped the listless little girl out of the tub. After drying her with a towel, Evangeline dressed her in a beautiful empire-waist dress and tied her silver hair up into two small buns.
Young females all love to look pretty, and seeing the beautiful dress on her, Bunny instantly perked up.
She began to twirl in circles, her skirt blooming like a flower bud. She chirped, "Mommy, it’s so pretty! Bunny is so pretty! I’m going to show Daddy! Right now!"
Evangeline gently pinched the tip of Bunny’s fluffy ear and pointed out the window. "He’s already here."
Bunny’s ears immediately shot up. She scrambled onto the windowsill to peek outside and sure enough, there was her daddy!
Evangeline looked out the window as well. In the warm sunlight, several tall, slender figures approached, walking through the dappled light.
Leading them was none other than Caden Albright. He was dazzlingly beautiful, and as he walked, his silver hair swayed gently like satin. The dark gold circlet on his forehead added an air of noble magnificence. If he were to trade his beast skin for silken robes and a jade belt, he would absolutely have the air of the highest nobility.
Following closely behind was Thorne, his features sharp and distinct. His eyes, a black-green so dark they were almost inky, were like deep pools that made his pale skin seem even colder. His features were remarkably deep-set, giving him an exotic look. A constant, faint sneer played on his lips, lending him the air of a rebellious, arrogant youth.
Bringing up the rear was Lachlan, who was like a ray of cool moonlight. His features were refined, with a strong brow, and his grayish-brown eyes always held a distant look, as if nothing could ever capture his attention. Cool, aloof, and languid, he possessed a pristine aura that others lacked, like a flower on a high, unreachable mountain.
’Most importantly, they weren’t just handsome. Thanks to their beastman hunting instincts, the muscles of their bodies flexed and rippled with every step, outlining powerful waists, firm physiques, and long, long legs. The three of them walking together were enough to stop traffic.’
Evangeline tilted her head slightly, unable to hold back a sigh. ’The original owner of this body must have been out of her mind. How could she waste such a blessing? She had a buffet like this right in front of her and didn’t even appreciate it. I mean, look at those V-lines, those powerful, trim waists... Who could possibly resist a supergroup of hotties like this?’
"Daddy!" Bunny’s cheeks were flushed with excitement. Before Caden Albright could even step inside, she had already rushed out eagerly. She looked like a cheerful little sparrow as she ran, the small bells on her twin buns chiming with every step.
She threw herself into Caden Albright’s arms and tilted her little face up. "Daddy! Don’t I look pretty?"
Seeing his little girl all dressed up, a smile bloomed in Caden Albright’s amber eyes. His long fingers gently brushed against the little bell in her hair as he swept her up into his arms. He said softly, "Very pretty. Bunny is the prettiest little maiden on the entire Beastman Continent."
Bunny giggled and nuzzled against Caden Albright’s neck.
She suddenly looked up, her amber eyes sparkling as she gazed at Evangeline. In a sweet, piping voice, she declared, "Bunny is pretty, but Mommy is the prettiest, most beautiful female of all! Prettier than a flower! Bunny likes Mommy the best!"
As she spoke, she splayed her chubby little hands and cupped them under her chin to mimic a blooming flower.
"Such a sweet-talker, our little Bunny," Thorne chuckled, gently pinching her plump cheek with his long fingers.
His dark green eyes landed on Evangeline, a smile in them as he added, "She’s telling the truth, though."
"Your mommy really is the most beautiful female," Caden Albright said, holding Bunny as his dazzling features softened.
Even in the eyes of the ever-cool Lachlan, a flicker of warmth appeared in their grayish-brown depths when he heard Bunny’s words.
Leaning against the window, Evangeline tapped a finger to her chin, a sly smile playing at the corners of her eyes.
A light breeze swept past, lifting her long hair. She grinned. "Aren’t we all just a family of beautiful people?"
At that, Bunny began to wriggle like a pretzel in Caden Albright’s arms, clapping her little hands. "Right! Mommy’s pretty! Bunny’s pretty! Daddy’s pretty! Daddy Thorne is pretty, and Daddy Lachlan is pretty, too..."
She ticked them off one by one on her fingers, then her little face scrunched up in frustration. "Bunny... Bunny can’t count that high."
Everyone in the bamboo house laughed.
"You silly little thing," Thorne said, ruffling Bunny’s soft, silver hair.
Watching the scene, Evangeline suddenly felt a warmth spread through her chest.
’She knew something about it felt wrong, but she didn’t want to dwell on it.’

The bamboo house was built by the water, its joinery seamless. From the selection of materials to the mortise and tenon joints, every detail spoke of Danton’s meticulous craftsmanship.
Thorne surveyed the room and scoffed. "This fish actually has some skill." 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
After all, when they had built their own bamboo house, they had relied mostly on Nix to construct the frame.
As he spoke, Thorne sauntered over to the table, his gaze falling upon the Moonlight Flower fluttering in the draft.
He suddenly flicked one of its leaves. The next instant, the serrated edges of the leaf viciously snapped at his finger.
"Tsk." The plant’s ferocious reaction made Thorne sneer, a flicker of ridicule in his dark green eyes. "Still think you’re a Nine-Marked Beastman, do you? You couldn’t even keep Loras in check, and now you’ve fallen this low. You really have the nerve to act fierce with me?"
"That’s enough," Evangeline said, grabbing Thorne’s wrist. She turned and put the little plant away.
Thorne stared as she shielded the plant, his throat working, but in the end, he said nothing.
Evangeline’s gaze swept over Thorne’s arm. Her brow furrowed, and she took out an ointment to dab on the spot. Then she turned to Caden Albright and Lachlan; they both had a few bruises here and there as well.
Pressing her lips together, she went to apply medicine for both of them. Fortunately, the injuries were only superficial.
After she finished, Evangeline glanced outside again. Caden Albright’s voice, soft and intimate, sounded beside her. "Loras is fine. They’re just minor injuries."
She turned and met Caden Albright’s smiling amber eyes. He was like an unshakeable mountain, always standing by her side. ’Having a Beast Husband like him,’ she thought, ’really makes life so much easier.’
The corner of Thorne’s mouth twitched. He crossed his arms and leaned lazily against the table.
His eyes swept over to Danton, who was still working on the bamboo house outside. Dark currents swirled in his black-green eyes, and his voice was laced with annoyance. "Eva, aren’t you going to explain? Where did you drag this fish back from? Didn’t he already leave?"
’She said we were going to the sea together on the night of the full moon tide. Heh. And what does she do? She goes by herself and brings Danton back without a word. And just smell her scent—it’s completely covered by this fish’s!’
Evangeline blinked, her long lashes casting soft shadows beneath her eyes.
She flashed Thorne an innocent smile. "Well, it was, uh... a coincidence?"
