Third Person POV

Ellander.

They appeared inside the Temple of Melitele using Madara’s teleportation, while Ciri seemed depressed with her son in her arms.

Madara looked at his wife and touched her waist with a calm gesture. She looked at him and nodded.

This would have to be done.

"Finally... you have arrived." Nenneke appeared at that moment from inside the temple. She walked over to Geralt, Madara, Ciri, and Yennefer, who had all come together.

Nenneke smiled at the girl with the baby, although she couldn’t help but feel some pity when she saw her face.

"Hi..." Ciri said.

"Hello, girl... I’m very sorry about this. You shouldn’t have to go through this. But, after what you told me... Well, I can only say that he will be safer here. You have my word." Nenneke gently touched Ciri’s face, while the future queen of Cintra nodded.

"Well, let’s get settled. Has anyone else arrived yet?" Geralt asked.

"Only Mousesack. He is looking at the Temple Garden, I have already sent for him," Nenneke said as she turned around. "Come, let’s sit down and talk."

She spoke as everyone gathered. The baby couldn’t help but make a few sounds, looking curiously inside the hall. Ciri held him even tighter in her arms.

Madara, Ciri, and the others sat in silence, along with Geralt and Yennefer. Mousesack arrived shortly after.

"Hello, everyone. I see this little boy is growing healthy," Mousesack said with a small, closed smile, but full of tenderness. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

"Hello, grandpa," Ciri said to him with a faint smile.

Mousesack touched the boy with his hands, also casting a diagnostic spell to check if the child was healthy.

"For now, we have to wait for Triss and the others. I think she will come with Tissaia," Nenneke said.

"I will have to fetch the witchers," Madara said, standing up before disappearing.

A portal opened shortly after he left, and two sorceresses—Triss and Tissaia—stepped out of it.

Madara appeared soon after, bringing all four witchers who were in Kaer Morhen.

He disappeared again and went to Novigrad, where he also brought Dandelion and Zoltan.

King Bran was also fetched and arrived with Mousesack, after having gone to Skellige and returned through a portal that the druid created.

All the people were aware of Ciri’s pregnancy and the baby, along with some priestess servants that Nenneke had brought, who stayed on that side of the temple to which no one else had access; they were all gathered at that moment.

"Well, as you know, Aren’s existence must remain a secret. That is why we are gathering everyone who knows about him, precisely to create a mechanism that will block any information you might pass on," he said, looking at everyone.

"Damn it, Madara... do you think we would just snitch on your son?" Lambert crossed his arms. He didn’t seem pleased with this.

"I’m not worried about you talking. I’m worried about someone invading your minds. That is why I want to create a block. My type of fūinjutsu is far more effective than any other mind-invading ability this world can produce. I need each of you to have this block. It will even make you immune to mental attacks. Ciri, Yennefer, Triss, and Geralt already have this protecting their minds, many sorcerers tried to read his mind at the kings’ meeting and no one managed to..." Madara explained.

When they entered the place, full of sorcerers, they immediately began to receive many mental attacks, Geralt was the main target after they failed to read Yennefer’s mind, since no one had the courage to try anything with Madara and Ciri, fearing what could happen. Even so, the witcher managed to block everything thanks to the protections Madara had placed in his mind.

This made some in that temple hall at that moment cautious. Some seemed to accept it, while others paused, curious about Madara’s abilities. Tissaia was clearly interested in Madara’s blocking techniques.

"Anyway, let’s begin. I need to place this paper on each of your foreheads and apply chakra. It won’t harm you at all, and it will create the blocking barriers with this seal," Madara began to explain, while everyone nodded.

He started going one by one, placing it on each person’s forehead while applying it. No one, except Lambert, complained.

"Well, with that we conclude the security part regarding Aren. But there is still something I need to tell everyone. Unfortunately, we cannot have people coming and going in this temple. Geralt and the other witchers should not come here while we are away. Not without using teleportation, because appearing here will seem suspicious."

It was obvious, especially with the connection they now had, that the School of the Wolf had with Madara and Ciri.

"Well, that makes sense..." Geralt said, Lambert also nodded, as did Eskel, Coën, and Vesemir. Everyone agreed.

"Don’t worry. We will take good care of this boy," Nenneke said, while she already had Aren in her arms, after taking him from Ciri, as Madara continued applying the seal to everyone’s foreheads.

Madara knew she would help. The goddess Melitele herself had an interest in the boy’s well-being, whatever it was that she had seen in the future.

Perhaps Aren would be a savior.

Or someone who would bring great changes.

Or perhaps even, that the goddess herself feared the wrath of Madara Uchiha if something were to happen to his son.

It didn’t matter, as long as the boy would be safe.

In the end, everyone stayed talking for a while, drinking and eating something they had prepared.

After that, Madara said he was taking the witchers to Kaer Morhen.

"It will be alright, Ciri. I’m sure that, in the end, everything will be alright," Vesemir did not fail to offer a kind word to the girl as he said goodbye.

"Thank you, grandpa," she murmured.

He nodded before teleporting with Madara.

"Well, I know some actions need to be taken. I wish you luck, Madara, Ciri. I will come to see the boy again. He is the future of Cintra," Mousesack said, making Ciri give a small smile.

King Bran also exchanged a few words, taking the boy and saying that he would be a great warrior in the future as well. Bran left with Mousesack, returning to Skellige.

After that, Dandelion and Zoltan were taken to Novigrad, after all Zoltan now had a big business in the city and Dandelion practically lived in the brothel that Zoltan managed, with the bard creating a great reputation in the place.

Tissaia also said her goodbyes. She went back to Aretuza, but this time she did not go with Triss.

"So... there is a nest of nekkers in the forest. Do you want to go?" Madara approached Geralt and asked.

The witcher looked at him and nodded. Clearly, that was not a request for help — Madara wanted to talk to him in private. After all, in what world would this man need to deal with monsters that looked like little rats, after everything he was capable of?

"Let’s take a walk," Madara said to Ciri, Triss, Nenneke, and Yennefer, who remained gathered around the baby in Ciri’s arms.

They entered the forest, following the tracks of the nekkers.

"So...", Geralt asked calmly.

"I’ll be direct, Geralt... I think something is going to happen. Something that is even beyond what I can prevent." Geralt looked at him alarmed and Madara continued.

"I’m not saying we are going to die or anything, but I feel like we won’t see our son for a long time. And Ciri feels the same way, you can notice how discouraged she is. As if she were about to lose the baby... she feels it too," Madara said.

Geralt’s gaze grew heavy for a moment. "Whatever might happen, we can prevent it," Geralt said in a serious tone.

But Madara shook his head. "It doesn’t seem to be that simple. I’m not saying nothing will happen to us. Ciri has already seen the future. She sees us in Cintra, Aren already a bit older... and he is not the only child we will have. There will be two girls," Madara said.

Ciri had spoken about the dangers, and Madara also suggested that she was seeing beyond a near future. She began to see years ahead, without that near-future blockage.

"That was the vision she had," Madara added.

Geralt nodded.

"And even if the vision still shows a prosperous future, it doesn’t mean I won’t be careful. I don’t want to rely only on a vision. I will do everything to keep my family united and safe," Madara continued.

"I will come to see the boy, that is certain. But do you promise you will do everything to protect Ciri?" Geralt asked.

Whatever was about to happen, if Ciri and the boy were safe, Geralt would be relieved.

"You don’t even need to ask that, Geralt," Madara mocked lightly. "Ciri is my family, my wife. I will do everything to protect them."

He paused briefly before continuing: "And I want you to know... even if something happens to us in the coming months... well, I would like you to raise our son. I left several notes about my abilities. He was born with a body that has chakra, the same energy as me, and he will have a bit more difficulty awakening the Sharingan if he doesn’t have stimuli or someone close who understands it like I do... But I left everything written down," Madara said, in a lower tone.

He had created more than 200 clones, and they spent 2 weeks rewriting all his abilities, jutsus, and the way to awaken his powers.

Geralt nodded, although he did not like the idea of Madara speaking as if they were going to disappear or even die. Still, as a witcher, he knew he had to be realistic. They should always be prepared for any situation.

"He is the prince of Cintra. The future of the kingdom. Take him somewhere no one can find him, if necessary. I left my scrolls for him. Many are in another language, but I left instructions so that he can learn the meaning of the kanji himself. With that, he will be able to develop all my techniques," Madara continued.

"But you just said that Ciri saw the future with you in Cintra..." Geralt tried to comment.

Madara shook his head. "Yes, she did. But, as I said before, I don’t want to rely on visions of the future. I want you to help raise my son... in case we disappear and never return."

Geralt looked at him until he nodded. "Alright." His voice sounded firm, but this was their reality.

They remained silent for a while, as they continued walking through the forest. It didn’t take long for the horrible smell of rot to reach their noses. Geralt, more sensitive than Madara because of the mutations, grimaced.

"How do you know about this place? I thought you had wiped out all the monsters," Geralt asked. After all, Madara had said he had cleared everything around the city with his clones.

"Unfortunately, I can’t control everything that enters and leaves the forest. A few days ago, one of my clones passed by here, he saw the nest. And I thought it would be a good opportunity to talk to you without the others around, you know," Madara explained. Geralt nodded.

They began to see pieces of dead deer that the nekkers had been capturing and devouring.

"Let’s get to work," Geralt said, as he prepared himself, drawing his sword and even taking a potion.

Madara kept his hands in his pockets.

The mutagens were taking effect in his body. In the last three months, Madara had helped Vesemir and the witchers develop that mixture of mutagens he had obtained in Toussaint. Everyone had undergone great changes.

Madara, with a large stock of mutagens, did not think twice before handing them over to the witchers. Vesemir was in disbelief at the amount of mutagens Madara had accumulated over the years. He began to fuse them together until forming even more powerful versions.

Geralt and the other witchers had two choices: increase their tolerance to potions, physical strength, or sign power by 50%... or completely double one of those capacities.

While Coën, who preferred strength, increased his physical strength by 100%, Geralt, being a versatile fighter, chose to combine two types, increasing physical strength by 50% and sign power by 50%.

If Geralt was already considered the most powerful witcher in the world, now the others were even further behind his level. At least among those who were not from the School of the Wolf...

Soon, they advanced toward the nest. The nekkers quickly noticed them, starting to scream as several emerged from the hole.

Geralt immediately prepared himself, raising his sword. With a fast and deadly movement, he began cutting down the nekkers one by one as they advanced.

Madara kept his hands in his pockets, simply kicking the monsters while using only taijutsu in a calm manner. His kicks were so powerful that not even Geralt’s current strength could match them. The nekkers were launched like bullets against trees, ground, and rocks, exploding on impact.

They continued like that for a while, until the last nekker was cut down by Geralt.

"You’ve gotten good, Geralt." Geralt frowned upon hearing that from Madara, who was standing there with clean clothes, while he was covered in blood and sweating.

"Damned shinobi...", he muttered.

"Come on, there’s a river nearby. You need to wash up before going back to the temple. I don’t want to see you dirty near my son," Madara said with a small smile, while Geralt grumbled something.

Anyway, Madara returned with Geralt to the temple.

"Where is Ciri?" he asked.

Nenneke pointed to one side of the temple, where their room was. Madara nodded, letting Geralt talk with the sorceresses, and went there.

He found Ciri standing, adjusting the rocking cradle, while listening to the boy make small sounds for his mother.

Ciri was crying. Madara approached. He could understand a mother’s heart. It was necessary... but the pain was still there, just the same.

Even so, Madara approached to comfort her and also have his final moments with his son, because from there they would be leaving... leaving to resolve all their problems at once.
