The courtyard house was fairly spacious, with many plants growing in the yard, the air scented with floral fragrances. There was a large tree by one wall, with its lush branches holding a swing chair.

Nearby the swing, a table and four bamboo chairs were set.

Si Nan glanced at the main house.

Perhaps it was recently cleaned, as it was very tidy.

The landlord had been thoughtful enough to spray some air freshener.

Si Nan carried Tang Yige out of the main house, looking at the landlord, "Are the other rooms bedrooms?"

"Sir, there are two bedrooms on this side and one on the other, with one room being a kitchen," the landlord explained.

Si Nan nodded, carrying Yige into one of the bedrooms between the two.

The bedroom was furnished with basic furniture and was quite complete.

It was well-maintained and clean, without any odor.

Moving in only required replacing the sheets and bedding with clean ones.

Si Nan looked at Tang Yige in his arms, pursing his lips with a decision already forming in his heart.

Si Nan came out of the bedroom with Tang Yige, the landlord and Geng Yi in the courtyard immediately looked over.

Si Nan nodded at the landlord, "We’ll take this place."

The landlord smiled upon hearing this, "Sir, straightforward."

Si Nan said nothing, turning to Geng Yi, "He’ll discuss the rent with you."

"Alright." The landlord replied.

Si Nan then carried Yige back into the bedroom.

Geng Yi, "..." Isn’t he tired from carrying her in and out all this time?!

Geng Yi agreed on the rent with the landlord: pay one month deposit and three months upfront, five thousand per month, with the lease contract signed in the afternoon.

After the landlord left, Geng Yi headed towards the bedroom where Si Nan and Tang Yige were.

As he reached the doorway, Si Nan’s calm voice came from inside the room, "Go to my apartment and bring some clean bedding over."

While he could have bought new ones, they couldn’t be used immediately without a wash.

Since his apartment had clean spares, Si Nan told Geng Yi to bring them from there.

The bedroom had a sofa; Si Nan worried Tang Yige wouldn’t sleep comfortably in his arms, so he gently placed her on the sofa, removed his coat to cover her, and leaned down to kiss her on the forehead, before sitting in the single sofa beside it, his arms resting on his legs, hands clasped, gazing steadily at Tang Yige.
