Jiang Yi had naturally seen the bite mark on Zexun’s neck, which made the sight all the more glaring.

Zexun’s hand, holding his chopsticks, froze mid-air as if suspended by the chilling atmosphere.

A moment later, he slowly set down his chopsticks and leisurely raised his eyes to Jiang Yi. "A Yu hasn’t said a thing. Don’t you think you’re overstepping, Mr. Jiang?"

Jiang Zheyu felt like every meal was a battle. These men would always start squaring off over the smallest things, their tones turning cryptic.

"I can eat by myself. You can just sit next to me. You don’t have to feed me. It’s not like I don’t have hands." Jiang Zheyu hurriedly put down her bowl and tugged at the men on either side of her.

Zexun’s long lashes drooped slightly. Not wanting to make things difficult for Jiang Zheyu, he withdrew his gaze from Jiang Yi and looked at her gently. "Sorry for interrupting your meal."

Jiang Yi obediently sat down beside her as well and said slowly, "Master, please eat well."

’I shouldn’t be so impatient.’

But jealousy was like a weed, growing wildly and impossible to suppress. Even someone as calm and composed as him couldn’t stop all his programs from malfunctioning now.

Feeling quite awkward, Jiang Zheyu silently turned to Zexun and asked, "A Xun, don’t you have work today?"

"Mm, I took a long leave for over two months." Zexun nodded, then reached out to pat Jiang Zheyu’s head. "After you finish eating, I’ll take you out."

"Where are you going? Count me in."

The slow, leisurely sound of footsteps came from the stairs behind them.

Feng Qi had come downstairs just in time to hear Zexun trying to monopolize Jiang Yuyu again, so he sauntered over and chimed in.

"Jiang Yuyu, I was just thinking of taking you out, too. Since Judge Ze also wants to take you out, why don’t we just go to both places?"

Jiang Zheyu paused. She thought that was a good idea and nodded. "Okay." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦

After agreeing, she looked at Zexun. "A Xun, what do you think?"

Zexun’s plan had actually been for just the two of them, him and A Yu.

But now that the little female had asked, it was clear she wanted them all to go out together.

Zexun felt he couldn’t refuse, so he nodded and smiled warmly. "Of course."

After getting Zexun’s approval, Jiang Zheyu also grabbed Jiang Yi’s hand. "Jiang Yi, you should come with us later, too."

A brilliant light filled Jiang Yi’s pink eyes. He nodded in response. "Okay."

"A Xun, where are we going later?" Jiang Zheyu asked Zexun while she ate.

"We’re going to a flower exhibition," Zexun said with a gentle smile. "It’s an exhibit with a flower theme. You can see some very precious floral specimens, some flowers that are now extinct, as well as some floral artwork and so on. I hope you’ll like it."

Flowers were something females naturally liked.

Zexun was naturally catering to her tastes.

"Okay." After nodding, Jiang Zheyu turned her head to look at Feng Qi behind her. "Feng Qi, where were you planning on going later?"

"Mountain climbing," Feng Qi said with a grin.

Jiang Zheyu hesitated for a moment before slowly asking, "Is the mountain very high?"

She was afraid she’d be too exhausted to continue before she even got halfway up.

Jiang Zheyu was well aware of her own physical limits.

"I’ll carry you up then," Feng Qi said, ruffling Jiang Zheyu’s hair. "From the summit at night, you can overlook the entire Imperial City. You’ll like it."

Jiang Zheyu fell silent. ’How could I let someone carry me up a mountain? That’s so embarrassing.’

"Oh, the point isn’t really the climb," Feng Qi added when he saw her expression. "I just want to show you the night view of the Imperial City from above."

"Alright," Jiang Zheyu nodded.

She had thought her schedule for the day was already packed.

Just then, Jiang Zheyu’s Light Brain chimed. She saw a message from Jin Yu.

"Sister Zheyu, the location where the Star Thieves were broadcasting the Beast Slaves has been wiped out by Commander Su. All the Beast Slaves have been rescued."

"Commander Su is in the hospital now."

Seeing those two messages, Jiang Zheyu’s mind focused on only one thing: Su Yan was in the hospital. All thoughts of going out to have fun vanished, replaced by a rising tide of worry for his condition.

"We’re not going out today." Jiang Zheyu’s expression grew worried. "A Yan is hurt. I’m going to the Imperial Capital First Hospital to see him."

"Don’t worry. We’ll go with you," Zexun said, grasping Jiang Zheyu’s hand as if to give her strength.

Jiang Zheyu glanced at Zexun and nodded slightly.

"That guy Su Yan is tough as nails. He won’t die that easily, so don’t worry too much," Feng Qi said, patting Jiang Zheyu’s head.

"Rest assured, Master Yu Yu, he isn’t dead," Jiang Yi said, taking Jiang Zheyu’s other hand.

Hearing them say that, Jiang Zheyu could only try to set aside her worries for now. ’I should go to the hospital first and see for myself.’

And so, the group set off for the Imperial Hospital.

When Jiang Zheyu arrived at the Imperial Hospital, she rushed to the front desk and asked a Beastman, "Which room is Commander Su in?"

The Beastman pointed the way for Jiang Zheyu. "Commander Su is on the second floor."

"Okay, thank you." Jiang Zheyu expressed her thanks and hurried to the second floor.

The three men followed close behind her.

Seeing Jiang Zheyu so worried about Su Yan, all three men had complicated feelings.

The feelings for one’s first Beast Husband were different, after all.

Seeing Jiang Yuyu so concerned about Su Yan, Feng Qi felt like grinding his teeth to dust.

Jiang Zheyu headed for the second floor.

Meanwhile, Su Yan happened to be walking down from the second floor, his eyes fixed on the Light Brain on his wrist, about to contact his Yu Yu.

Jiang Zheyu hadn’t expected that just as she reached the top of the stairs, she would see Su Yan coming down.

Without a second thought, she threw herself at Su Yan and hugged him.

"A Yan, are you okay?" Jiang Zheyu’s voice was muffled as she quickly grabbed Su Yan’s hands, trying to pull his clothes open to check. "I heard you were badly injured?"

Su Yan let out a soft, low chuckle. "Who told you I was badly injured?"

He gently hugged Jiang Zheyu back, his voice a low laugh. "Don’t worry, I’m fine."
