Jiang Zheyu reluctantly made her way to the dining table in the main hall.

"My dear Master Yu Yu, this is the cake Master Su Yan bought for you. It’s fresh from the refrigerator." Xiaoyi brought out the cake and the nutrient solution. "And here is today’s nutrient solution."

Jiang Zheyu had obediently followed her attending physician’s orders, eating unappetizing food for three days straight.

She hadn’t even started her meal when the doorbell rang.

Jiang Zheyu paused for a moment before heading outside.

Outside the iron gate, Doctor Li stood in his white coat, his finger still on the doorbell. Noticing someone approaching, he lowered his hand and looked toward the person.

Jiang Zheyu opened the gate and looked up at Doctor Li. "Doctor Li, you’re here."

The moment Li Xingbai saw Jiang Zheyu, his silver eyes went blank for a second. He quickly regained his composure, but a hint of confusion colored his cool face.

He took a few steps back and looked at the address plate beside the gate.

’I’m at the right place.’

Li Xingbai stared blankly at Jiang Zheyu before slowly speaking. "Hello, is Miss Jiang Zheyu home?"

Jiang Zheyu was speechless. ...

"Doctor Li, please come in." Jiang Zheyu quietly stepped aside to let him pass. "I am Jiang Zheyu."

To his surprise, the female beside him merely gave a small smile after hearing his words. "You have a good eye, Doctor Li. I also think it looks better this way."

Li Xingbai watched as her eyes curved into crescents when she smiled, and his silver eyes wavered slightly. When he gave polite compliments to other females, they would either shyly deny it or assume he was interested and scrutinize him with a thoughtful gaze.
