Unrivaled in another world
Chapter 231: New Abilities Part 1
[: 3rd POV :]
Daniel exhaled slowly the moment the system finished speaking, rolling his shoulders slightly as if trying to physically adjust to the weight of everything he had just been told.'
"…Well enough of that," he said at last, voice calmer but noticeably more focused than before.
"Now that I've understood everything…my worries have lessened, but somehow also increased because of other facts."
He paused, narrowing his eyes slightly as if trying to organise the chaos of information in his mind.
"…So it's time to understand what exactly changed. Do your job, System."
[: Right away, my dear host :]
[: As of now, every skill, power, and item you previously possessed has been fully absorbed into the system framework :]
[: Through integration with Boundless Systematic Energy and Primordial Mana, you now possess a total of 10 Core Abilities :]
Daniel raised an eyebrow.
"…Ten, huh?"
He crossed his arms slightly, his expression unreadable, though there was a subtle tension in his gaze, like he already expected the answer to be absurd.
[: These abilities are directly linked to your current rank and True Existence Tier :]
[: Meaning: the higher your rank and existence tier evolves, the exponentially more absolute your abilities become :]
[: Current evaluation: Host is already classified as "overpowered beyond conventional scaling parameters" :]
Daniel let out a short breath through his nose.
"…Yeah, I figured that part already."
[: Now, I will explain each ability in the simplest operational format :]
There was a brief pause, and then the system began.
[: Codex of Origin :]
- An ability beyond impossibility itself.
- Functions as a conceptual library containing records of every skill that exists, has existed, or could exist.
- To manifest any ability, the Host only needs to imagine its existence as valid.
Daniel went silent for a moment.
"…So if I think hard enough, I can just create abilities?"
[: Correct :]
"…That's… dangerously simple," he muttered, almost amused despite himself.
The system continued without hesitation.
[: Infinite Vessel :]
- A perfected existence body created through the fusion of all devoured bloodlines, Boundless Systematic Energy, and Primordial Mana.
- Your physical and existential structure has been consolidated into a singular vessel that surpasses all known forms of physique, bloodline, Dao constructs, or existence categories.
Daniel's expression shifted slightly at that.
"…Surpasses all of them…?" he repeated quietly.
[: Affirmative :]
And then the system expanded further.
[: Active Effect of Infinite Vessel :]
- Able to transform, fuse, partially into any lifeform host that has devoured and absorbed before. Nevertheless, able to transform anything that could be copied, has existed in the past, present or future or could even transform into something that has yet to exist -
- Depending on the transformation, stats would increase.
[: Passive effects of Infinite Vessel :]
- Infinite Lifeforce Regeneration
- Primordial Mana output increased by 1,000,000×
- Worldmight increased by 1,000,000×
- All types of energy regeneration increased by 1,000,000×
- All types of attack and skill potency amplified by 100×
- All types of Energy consumption reduced by 90%
- All types of damage reduced by 90%
- All elemental affinities set to the maximum natural state
- All comprehension abilities set to the maximum natural state
- All curses, diseases, debuffs, and poisons: Nullified
The moment the list ended, silence followed.
Daniel didn't speak immediately.
He just stared forward.
Then he slowly lowered his head, one hand rising to his temple.
"…Okay," he said at last, voice quieter now.
"
…That's actually insane."
He let out a small laugh, but it wasn't disbelief anymore; it was the kind of laugh someone makes when they realise the scale of their situation has completely left normal reasoning behind.
"So basically," he continued, looking up again, eyes sharper now, "I'm not even a person anymore at this point. I'm just… a walking system error with feelings."
[: That is an inaccurate but emotionally expressive interpretation :]
Daniel huffed softly.
"Yeah, well… I'll take it."
"…Alright," he muttered, flexing his fingers slightly as faint traces of Primordial Mana subtly responded to his presence without even being commanded.
"Let's see what the other abilities have"
[: Principles of Absolute :]
- As the Host possesses countless Domains, Laws, Authorities, Commandments, Concepts, and even Embodiments, with the assistance of the system, a new ability has been created, one where even "Truth" cannot define the Principles of Absolute
Daniel did not respond immediately.
Not because he was calm.
But because his mind had briefly failed to assign meaning to what he was seeing.
"…Even Truth can't define it?"
He finally muttered, voice lower than usual, as if speaking louder might cause the concept itself to notice him.
The system continued without hesitation.
[: Active Abilities :]
- Absolute Existence Arbitration: From Law to Truth, you possess the authority to decide what exists and what does not.
Daniel's fingers twitched slightly.
"…Decide what exists?" he repeated, slower this time.
It wasn't disbelief anymore.
It was the slow recognition that the scale of what he was being given no longer fit into anything he previously understood as "power."
- Absolute Principles of Genesis: The ability to create, manifest, and manipulate every type of Law down to Truth itself.
A faint pressure expanded around Daniel's consciousness.
As if existence itself was suddenly offering him tools that had previously been used only by reality to build itself.
- Absolute Convergence: The ability to fuse oneself with Laws to Truth, whether singular or multiple simultaneously.
Daniel exhaled slowly.
"…So I don't just control it," he said quietly, "I become it."
[: Correct. :]
The system's answer was immediate. 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
And somehow… almost respectful.
- Absolute Principles of Rewrite: The ability to freely rewrite any Law down to Truth without consequences.
Daniel actually looked down at his own hand.
Not at it physically, but as if trying to confirm that it was still bound by the same rules as everything else.
"…No consequences?" he asked.
[: None applicable to the Host. :]
A brief silence followed.
- Absolute Principles of Supremacy: No beings will dare face the Host. They shall kneel and bow. Weaker beings die under command. Equal beings have total status reduced by 80%. Stronger beings have their status reduced by 50%. All types of Laws would bow to you. You're the absolute principle, and none of the truths is above you nor can it override your existence.
For the first time, Daniel's expression shifted.
"…That's not even power anymore," he said softly.
"…That's authority over conflict itself."
[: Passive Effects :]
- Principles of Nullification: All types of Laws, Domains, Fields, Zones, Areas, Authorities, Commandments, Concepts, and Embodiments, Orders, and Truths are nullified against the Host.
- Principles of Rejection: From Law to Truth, none of those dares to reject your principles and whatever is impossible, forbidden, can't, undo, erasure, cease does not apply to you.
Daniel let out a short breath through his nose, almost like a laugh, but without humour.
"…So 'impossible' just stops existing around me."
[: Correct. :]
The system answered simply.
- Principles of Causality Immunity: Fate does not apply to you. Time cannot define you. Detection cannot perceive you. Consequences do not exist around you. Inbalance does not apply to you. Unequal does not define you.
Daniel's gaze lifted slightly.
"…So even consequences can't follow me."
[: That's right :]
- Principles of Stability: Whatever you create from Law to Embodiment cannot be erased, nullified, rewritten, or denied. It will persist even if reality collapses or even when time dies.
For a moment, Daniel said nothing.
Nothing at all.
Because his mind had finally reached a point where it was no longer measuring power.
It was measuring existence itself.
"…This isn't an ability set," he finally said, voice quieter now.
"…This is like rewriting what 'reality' even means."
The system did not respond immediately.
For once, there was a pause that felt almost… careful.
[: That's technically right. :]
Daniel slowly lowered his hand.
His expression was not excited.
Not fear.
Not even disbelief anymore.
It was something in between understanding and acceptance, like someone standing at the edge of something so vast that emotion itself stopped being useful.
"…And this is what I became after the second stage?" he asked.
[: Yes. :]
A beat.
Then Daniel exhaled again, longer this time.
"…I see."
He looked up into the void, as if trying to locate something beyond it, something that might still qualify as "higher."
"…So there's really no going back now."
The system did not deny it.
It did not reassure him either.
It simply existed with him in that answer.
Daniel closed his eyes briefly.
When he opened them again, there was still shock there.
But beneath it…was clarity.
Not madness.
Not arrogance.
But the quiet realisation that whatever he was becoming…was no longer something that fit inside anything else.
"…Alright," he said finally, voice steadying.
"…Then I'll learn how to use it properly."
A faint pause.
Then, almost like an afterthought.
"…Because at this point… even I don't know what I am anymore."
And for the first time since everything began, the void did not feel like it contained him.
It felt like it was waiting to see what he would become inside it.
''Show me the next one," Daniel declared.
At this point, Daniel believes he would no longer be surprised by his next abilities. After all, he didn't even know how to describe himself.
This wasn't just about being powerful; this was him becoming an entirely different structure of power.
