A massive four-hooved, long-haired beast lay on the ground, barely alive. Its body crushed several thick trees, and blood flowed like a stream, staining the ground a blood-red.

This was a Star System Level early-stage beast, more formidable and ferocious than the ones Lin Mo encountered outside.

Now, however, this beast's body was riddled with holes, with two complete holes through its head.

Before this beast, a young man with black hair and eyes hovered three feet off the ground, calmly observing the beast before him. Skillfully, he used Spiritual Energy to cleave the beast's head open and extracted a dark purple Nether Origin Stone, bloodthirstiness radiating from it intensely.

"I've been in the Thunder Mountain Range for five days and advanced approximately 1.5 million kilometers. At this pace, it will take at least seven more days to reach the mountain's summit," Lin Mo murmured to himself, then stored the Nether Origin Stone in the Space Ring.

Upon entering the Thunder Mountain Range, Lin Mo realized the terror of this area. Besides the unpredictably falling Mysterious Blue Lightning in the sky, the beasts ran rampant within the mountains, each at least a Star System Level early stage.

These runes contained special energy fluctuations, part of Lin Mo's mastery of the Netherworld Technique 'Sealing Skill.' It took carving three purple symbols before he felt his Netherworld Power nearly drained, breaking into a cold sweat before he stopped.

Three purple symbols circled around Lin Mo, then let down strands of purple energy surrounding him like a barrier. With the Sealing Skill's Defense, even if a middle-stage Star System Level beast suddenly appeared, it could hold it off long enough for Lin Mo to counter-attack.

Having set everything up, Lin Mo took out all the Nether Origin Stones. The dense Netherworld Power spread intensely, flowing like water with a rushing sound; yet it isn't fully purified, still laden with rampant hostility.

Within the purple energy, if one's mind isn't strong, the hostility can overtake them, causing loss of sanity and extreme savagery.

Lin Mo centered himself and began to channel the Star Wheel Universe Map and the Black Snake Totem on his back.

A potent devouring force radiated from Lin Mo, drawing the dense purple energy into his body, seeping into his skin and pores, traveling through his meridians to the Black Snake Totem on his back.

The snake on his back seemed to come alive, continuously devouring the purple energy, then releasing pure Netherworld Power into the Purple Flame Mark nearby, causing the mark to grow darker and deeper.

There were faint signs of breaking through, yet despite the Purple Flame Mark strengthening, it hadn't broken through!

The pile of Nether Origin Stones before Lin Mo continued to be devoured, with the purple energy growing gradually thinner.

"Isn't the Nether Origin Stone enough for the breakthrough?"

Lin Mo furrowed his brow, sensing several powerful auras rapidly closing in on him.

Moments later, six figures appeared above the valley, each gaze fixed on Lin Mo.

Among them stood Lao Du, Lie Huo, and Hei Zhu, with Hei Zhu binding Hu Kuang, Liu Hong, and Wei Dao tightly with a black spider thread behind him.

"If not for finding the Spiritual Power stone you left on Hu Kuang, we wouldn't have found you so quickly." Lao Du sneered down at Lin Mo, a cruel grin spreading across his lips.

"Despicable, Lao Du, if you're going to kill me, do it. If you dare harm Brother Lin Tanyu, I'll haunt you even in death," Hu Kuang seethed, unable to muster an ounce of True Yuan within.

"Rest assured, you'll all die here today." Lao Du glanced at Hu Kuang, unperturbed.

Lao Du, Lie Huo, and Hei Zhu had long coveted the treasures on Lin Mo, but after entering Thunder Mountain, Lin Mo parted ways with the group. Furthermore, Thunder Mountain Range is perilous; one misstep could land you in a Mysterious Blue Lightning's Thunder Net, so they hadn't located Lin Mo's trail.

Knowing Lin Mo and Hu Kuang were close, they captured Hu Kuang and found Lin Mo's Spiritual Power stone on him. Using the trace of Spiritual Power imbued in the stone, they tracked Lin Mo's whereabouts.

"Brother Lin Tanyu, forgive me. It's my fault you're in harm's way," Hu Kuang lamented, tears of frustration spilling as he bit down so hard blood seeped from his gums.
