Lin Mo was stunned on the spot, his hair in disarray in the wind.

This mountain range, towering millions of kilometers high, was actually his toe?

As Lin Mo was in shock, dots of starlight gathered before him, and then an elder in a white robe stood with his hands behind his back in mid-air. The elder had a kind face, with a slight smile, and his long silver hair danced behind him.

"Young Lin Mo, greetings to the senior," Lin Mo immediately greeted respectfully with cupped hands upon seeing the elder.

Although he couldn’t feel any energy fluctuation from the elder, for some reason, Lin Mo felt like an ant facing the Himalayas, utterly insignificant in the elder’s presence. The elder might extinguish him with just a breath.

"Your name is Lin Mo?" the elder asked blandly.

Lin Mo nodded.

"Do you know what place this is?" the elder asked with a smile, floating around Lin Mo in a circle.

"This should be a space rift, right?" Lin Mo wasn’t sure of the elder’s intentions, but at this point, he had nothing much to worry about, as leaving here was a dead end too.

The elder stopped and nodded, "Yes, a space rift. Space is divided into many layers. We live in the Bright Space, which is not dangerous. Behind the Bright Space is the Dark Space; behind the Dark Space is the Soul Space; and behind the Soul Space is the Nether Space, which is where you and I are now!"

Lin Mo was slightly shocked. He had only read about space in some books, but each book described it differently, with no definitive standard. After all, not many can enter the Soul Space, so who knows what lies beyond it.

"Even some God-level experts are torn to shreds by the forces of space when entering the Nether Space. You’re just a little fellow at the Star System Level Early Stage, yet you survived; that’s quite astonishing!" The elder chuckled and said, "I suppose it’s because of your Star Sky Law?"

Lin Mo wasn’t surprised. Given the terrifying power of this elder, the secrets of his being must have all been exposed to him.

"Perhaps it’s luck that I survived," Lin Mo replied bitterly.

"Luck, not really. Besides your Star Sky Law, you also have a ’Netherworld Snake’ inside your body." The elder circled around again and returned to face Lin Mo, slightly squinting his eyes.

"Is the senior referring to the Black Snake Totem on my back?"

Lin Mo was astonished. He had never understood what the Black Snake Totem was. After suppressing the alien demon on Earth, the Black Snake Totem appeared on his back and had a special, keen perception of Netherworld Power.

"Yes, that thing is called a ’Netherworld Snake’, a very unique creature in the universe. It greatly assists those practicing Netherworld Patterns and the cultivation of Netherworld Patterns. However, the ’Netherworld Snake’ was already extinct in the universe, disappearing completely with the fall of the Netherworld Era."

The elder sighed softly as he spoke.

"Extinct?" Lin Mo furrowed his sword-like eyebrows.

"Do you know why you have the Netherworld Snake Totem on you?" The elder opened his eyes and looked directly at Lin Mo.

Lin Mo couldn’t discern any emotional fluctuation in his eyes; those eyes were like the vast universe, pulling one’s mind entirely in.

Lin Mo immediately averted his gaze and shook his head.

"Only those with earth-shattering power can traverse time, enter the Netherworld Era, capture a Netherworld Snake, bring it to the Holy Era, seal it, and conceal its presence. Otherwise, once exposed, it could be obliterated by the Cosmic Law since the Netherworld Snake doesn’t belong to the ’Holy Era’." The elder spoke slowly, but each word was like a massive hammer striking Lin Mo’s chest, making it hard for him to breathe.

Doesn’t belong to this era?

Someone entered the Netherworld Era, captured a Netherworld Snake, and brought it back to the Holy Era.

Such terrifying cultivation is unimaginable.

"Do you know? Only two people could do this!" the elder said.

"The Ice Emperor and Emperor Shang!" Lin Mo replied immediately.

The elder nodded, sighing, "Only the Ice Emperor and Emperor Shang, with their earth-shattering cultivation and unparalleled brilliance, mastered the Time Law, entered the Netherworld Era, and brought back a Netherworld Snake. It’s unimaginable!"

From the elder’s words, it seemed even he couldn’t achieve this.

"But the Netherworld Snake is already dead, so why hasn’t it been obliterated by the Cosmic Law now that it has been exposed?" Lin Mo frowned, puzzled.

The elder nodded, "Indeed, the Netherworld Snake is dead, but its power has already been transferred to you. You are also a Netherworld Pattern Master and must have felt the magical abilities the Netherworld Snake has bestowed upon you."

"Yes." Lin Mo nodded lightly.

"According to the Cosmic Law, things not belonging to this era are destroyed, but you are an exception, having evaded the cosmic law’s monitoring." The elder suddenly said, making Lin Mo’s body tremble.

Escaping the monitoring of the Cosmic Law, could it be due to his rebirth? Lin Mo of the past had died under the Cosmic Law, and now he was beyond its grasp.

Could his rebirth have been arranged by Emperor Shang as well?

Lin Mo’s mind was suddenly in upheaval; what was he doing all this for?

"Alright, I’ve told you enough already, cannot continue further." The elder shook his head, his energy suddenly becoming somewhat withered, "Since you’ve met me here, consider yourself lucky; I will send you out of here."

"Thank you, senior."

Lin Mo cupped his hands, utterly shocked by all the information.

"If you wish to see me again, make a name for yourself in the Dark Demon Sea of the Dark Demon Domain and then join the ’Star Sky Alliance’." The elder said, waving his long sleeve, and light green bamboo swords appeared in the void.

Eighteen bamboo swords in total, three feet long and as wide as two fingers.

"This is the Heavenly Thunder Bamboo Sword Formation, a pretty good grade Ultimate Weapon, and we are fated to meet, so I gift it to you." The elder said blandly.

Ultimate Weapon?

Lin Mo was stunned; he personally experienced the power of Fu Mo’s Ultimate Weapon—the Life and Death Roulette—and even that was a damaged Ultimate Weapon with tremendous power. This was a complete set of Ultimate Sword Formation Weapon; its power was unimaginable.

"Common magical treasure weapons are divided into Star System Level, Star Domain Level, World Level, and Saint-level, but Ultimate Weapons are incredibly rare magical treasures.
