Fu Yuan wiped the sweat from his forehead and spoke with a teasing smirk. At his words, Jiang Yunnuan’s face instantly flushed bright red, and she felt incredibly awkward.

’She’d been in the room with Jun Yao for so long. These guys must have guessed what they were doing. Ugh, how embarrassing!’

But she quickly remembered her purpose, cleared her throat, and said, "I came to see if you successfully advanced."

She walked down the steps and approached him. Then, she stared in surprise. Above both of his eyebrows were patches of black and blue scales of varying sizes.

In the sunlight, the scales glittered like jewels, shimmering with a mysterious luster. They were beautiful in a way she couldn’t quite describe.

She stood there, stunned, just staring at him.

Meanwhile, the two men were doing much the same, their eyes fixed on the red patch on her face.

’Strange... has the patch on her face changed somehow?’

They both spoke at the same time, then fell silent.

Their eyes met. Jiang Yunnuan smiled and said, "Let me go first, you can talk after. Fu Yuan, why have you suddenly sprouted scales on your face? Aren’t you a Beastman of the Feather Clan?"
