I woke up in a dark abyss. Felt like a dream in real time.

My eyes were fully open in reality but i could see nothing but pitch black.

And when I opened my eyes again, I found myself laying on a patient bed, in a clinic.

But the weird part that freaked me out was the hovering midair glow-through box that shimmered into existence.

My body trembled on the bed, waving my arms across, then I figured it wasn’t physical but it displayed only through my vision.

"He’s perfectly fine My Excellency, we ran serval check up and we couldn’t find a single thing wrong with Mr Alex.. though it’s quite unusual that he passed out for five days."

"Thank God." Rachel patted her chest like she was about suffering a heart attack.

"OMG—Five days!!!" I voiced loudly, eyes widened, stunned by so much time passed.

"But you need some rest Mr Alex, I’ll advise you spend your day taking care of yourself and do less tasking activities for the meantime.."

"Is everything okay?" Rachel asked due to why I cursed at the doctor.

An awkward silence filled the room for a moment.

"Okayyy so you’re free to leave.." The doctor said, stretching her arm towards the exit.

"Thank you doc.." I said and grabbed Rachel by the arm and quickly walked out.

The system flickered faintly at the corner of my vision, like it was mocking me.

Author’s Note

Okay guys I’m sure y’all will be wondering why didn’t i just introduce the system from the beginning of the novel.

But unlike the normal way a system novel goes, I think it’s a creative approach to switch it up from the usual’s.

I hope y’all enjoyed the Chapter.
