Chapter 34: The Real Heavy Strike

Damian grinned as Thunder Qi suddenly burst beneath his feet, and his figure disappeared in an instant, shocking all four cultivators at once.

"What?!"

The thin man’s eyes widened as he quickly tried to follow Damian’s movement, but all he saw was a flash of lightning streaking across the clearing.

[Thunder Flash Steps]

Damian’s body moved like a bolt of thunder, appearing and disappearing between the gaps of the flame sword formation.

The four cultivators immediately tightened their formation and slashed at the same time.

Their flaming sword lights crossed through the air, forming a burning cage that tried to trap Damian from every direction.

But the moment their attacks landed... their swords only cut through a thunder afterimage.

The thin man’s face changed instantly. "Damn it! That’s fake!"

Before he could even warn the others, another Damian appeared to the side. "Too slow."

The heavy sword cultivator immediately roared and turned around, raising his greatsword with both hands.

His fiery Qi erupted wildly as he swung down with all his strength.

[Heavy Flame Slash]

The greatsword descended like a burning mountain, carrying enough force to crush rocks and split trees apart.

Vulkara’s eyes widened from the ground as she could feel that this strike was different from before. This one clearly used far more power.

Damian only grinned as he looked back at the strike and didn’t dodge. Instead, he just stood there and slowly raised his own sword.

The heavy sword cultivator grinned fiercely. "Idiot! You actually dare block me head-on?!"

Damian didn’t care about his words and directly prepared to counter. Soon, heavy Qi surged violently around his blade, and a deep oppressive sword force gathered around him.

The lazy smile on his face vanished, replaced by a cold and confident look. "You call that a heavy strike? Let me show you what a real heavy strike looks like."

[Mountain Breaking Sword Art]

He slashed his sword upward, and in that instant, the air seemed to tremble.

His sword was not flashy, nor was it complicated. It was simply heavy, brutal, and overwhelming, carrying the force of a collapsing mountain.

BOOOOM!

The two swords collided, but the result was completely one-sided as the greatsword shattered instantly.

And before the man could even scream, Damian’s sword continued forward without slowing down, tearing through his chest in one clean strike.

The heavy sword cultivator’s eyes widened in disbelief as he looked down at his own blood. "How...?"

Damian looked at him coldly. "This is the real heavy sword art."

The next moment, the man’s body split apart and collapsed heavily onto the ground. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

The other two cultivators beside the thin man stared at the corpse with pale faces, their confidence completely shattered.

That man was a Foundation Establishment cultivator and an inner disciple of the Great Flame Sect, so how could he be killed so easily here?

The thin man’s face finally changed completely as he trembled while looking at Damian. "No way... how can this be possible? Just what kind of martial art is that?"

Damian slowly turned his head toward him and grinned. "A dead man doesn’t need to know about this kind of thing."

The moment he heard that, the thin man frowned and finally realized that Damian was not someone they could deal with.

Realizing this, he immediately shouted to the other cultivators, "Retreat! We can’t defeat him!"

But Damian had no intention of letting them leave. With Thunder Qi gathering around his feet again, his body vanished.

[Thunder Flash Steps]

The two remaining cultivators tried to run in different directions, but before they could take more than a few steps, two thunder afterimages appeared beside them.

They panicked and slashed at the afterimages, but just like before, their blades only passed through empty illusions as Damian’s real body appeared behind them.

This time, Damian only used simple strikes, as he already knew that these cultivators had lost their fighting spirit, making them easy to kill.

After that, he turned back to the thin man, whose face had turned pale as he trembled while holding his sword.

The thin man gritted his teeth and forced himself to remain calm. "You... you dare kill Great Flame Sect disciples? Do you know what kind of trouble you’ve caused?"

Damian slowly turned toward him. "Still threatening me? You think you can really do that?"

The thin man’s heart sank, and just as he was about to get up and run away, Damian only grinned and opened his mouth, oppressive pressure began to gather in his throat.

The thin man’s expression twisted in horror as he realized what was about to happen. "WAIT..."

[Lion Roar]

ROOOOAAARRR!

A terrifying roar exploded through the clearing, blasting forward toward the thin man.

In just a short time, his eyes burst with blood, his ears ruptured, and his organs shook violently inside his body. Before he could even scream, he collapsed to the ground lifelessly.

Silence returned to the clearing.

Damian slowly closed his mouth and exhaled, then looked at the thin man’s corpse and clicked his tongue lightly. "Hm... too weak."

---

Vulkara, who was still on the ground, looked at Damian while trembling. Now, the only thing she could think was that she was finished.

This strange man who had just appeared was so strong, easily killing the Foundation Establishment cultivators who had bullied her.

For a moment, Vulkara didn’t even know what to say or what to do. She only knew that this might be the end for her.

Damian turned around and walked toward her slowly, his sword still dripping with blood.

Seeing him approach, Vulkara instinctively tensed. Although she had already prepared herself to die, no one could truly remain calm in front of death.

Damian noticed her reaction and stopped a few steps away before chuckling.

"Relax. If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn’t have wasted that much effort saving you."

Vulkara stared at him silently, confused by what he was saying.

Damian looked down at her wounded body, then sighed after receiving no answer. So he simply crouched down and looked at her.

"So, red-haired girl, you look like hell. Are you okay? Still alive? Hello? Need me to help bury your body?"

Vulkara’s mouth twitched slightly. This bastard had just saved her life, but somehow, his words were still kind of annoying.
