Chapter 7: The Perverted Master Changed

Damian sighed and decided that this was a different world, so no matter what the hell happened, he needed to kill when necessary.

Without another second of hesitation, he poured more spiritual energy into his body and carelessly swung his sword at his opponents.

The three Qi Refining cultivators facing him were shocked when Damian suddenly rushed toward them.

Before they could even realize what was happening, Damian’s sword had already slashed through their bodies, killing them instantly.

For a brief moment, Damian froze slightly, never expecting that he would feel this nauseous after killing someone for the first time.

Meanwhile, the tall leader frowned the moment he saw his three companions die and immediately tried to run away.

Thankfully, because of his carelessness, Kellan noticed it and used the chance to go for the kill, striking the tall man down directly.

This made the remaining enemies frown and lose confidence, while Kellan and the others charged straight in to finish them off.

Finally, the fight ended, and fortunately, Kellan and the others were all safe.

---

Kellan then walked toward Damian, surprised that Damian had reacted like this.

Then he realized that, although Damian was a Foundation Establishment cultivator, he might have come from a cultivator family, so perhaps he had never really killed anyone before.

This was probably his first time.

So instead of mocking him, Kellan sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Senior Damian, don’t worry too much. This is simply the rule of the world."

He turned back toward the corpses of their enemies. "If we had been weaker earlier, then we would’ve been the ones who died instead."

The other cultivators nearby also nodded. Clearly, none of them found this situation strange.

Damian stayed quiet for a moment before exhaling slowly. "Yeah, I know... I’m still adjusting to this world."

Kellan smiled and helped Damian stand up. "Yes, Senior. Don’t worry, you’ll get used to it sooner or later."

Kellan then turned toward his teammates. "Please help calm Senior Damian down while I take the Black Spirit Root."

The other teammates nodded and directly went to help Damian calm himself while Kellan headed toward the cliff.

Fortunately, Kellan was also a strong cultivator, so he easily climbed the cliff and took the Black Spirit Root.

After taking it, he returned and handed it to Damian. "Senior, this is the Black Spirit Root that you wanted."

Damian looked at it and smiled. "Thank you, Junior Kellan. Let me offer you something in return."

Damian then took out many beast corpses that he had killed a few days earlier. "This isn’t much, but I just can’t take this for nothing."

Kellan smiled and cupped his hands. "Thank you for the gift, Senior Damian."

Damian waved his hand dismissively. "Don’t worry about it. And now... I’m sorry, but I need to leave."

Kellan smiled back. "Sure thing, Senior. We also wanted to return, so let’s head back together."

Damian nodded, and soon all of them returned to the city together.

---

Damian and the others finally returned to the city after spending several days inside the Black Mist Forest.

Although his trip into the forest wasn’t too dangerous overall, the experience still made him realize just how brutally unpredictable this world truly was.

Especially after killing people for the first time. Even now, he could still remember the feeling of blood splashing onto his body.

Kellan and the others cupped their fists respectfully toward Damian. "Senior Damian, thank you again for protecting us these past few days."

Damian cupped his fists back and smiled. "You all helped me too, so thank you as well."

Then he looked toward Kellan. "Especially for the Black Spirit Root."

Kellan laughed awkwardly. "Don’t worry too much about it, Senior. Without you, we’d probably already be dead as well."

All of them laughed a little before finally separating.

Damian quickly went back to his residence, and at the same time, a week had already passed, which meant it was finally time for gifting again.

He directly went to Violetta’s room and knocked on her door. "May I come in?"

Soon, Violetta’s voice came from inside the room. "Master? Yes, you may come in."

Damian pushed the door open and entered, and just like before, Violetta was still sitting in the same posture.

Violetta was still able to walk, so during the week he had been gone, she could still eat and drink by herself.

She also seemed to be a bit better. It seemed the Body Nourishment Pills he gave her had already helped her recover a little.

Violetta didn’t know why her master had suddenly come to see her since he had been gone for an entire week. 𝓯𝓻𝒆𝙚𝒘𝓮𝙗𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝒍.𝙘𝓸𝙢

So she simply lowered her gaze slightly. "Does Master need something from me?"

Damian didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he walked closer to her and took out a black root-like spiritual herb from his storage ring.

The moment it appeared, Violetta was genuinely surprised because she clearly recognized the herb.

Damian looked at her and smiled, seeing that she seemed to know exactly what it was.

"Violetta, this past week, I went to the Black Mist Forest to search for something that could help you. Fortunately, I managed to obtain this herb."

Violetta was clearly surprised, not understanding why her perverted master had suddenly become so kind.

He had even gone to the dangerous Black Mist Forest for her. Even though he was a Foundation Establishment cultivator, the forest was still dangerous as hell.

Damian naturally noticed her disbelief and simply acted as if he had truly changed.

"Violetta, you need to know that I was just a failure of a cultivator, even though I already reached this realm."

He looked down at his hands. "My foundation isn’t that good, and after thinking for a few days, I decided to change myself."

Then he turned back toward Violetta. "And the first thing I should change is how I treat you, because now, you are already my disciple."

Damian actually knelt down. "So, Violetta, I’m sorry for how I acted during those days. At the time, I was nothing but a pervert."

Violetta was stunned after hearing this. She could never have imagined that her master would do something like this.

She never thought that a Foundation Establishment cultivator would kneel in front of her, a mere broken mortal.
