Chapter 507: Three Servants, One Dangerous Game

All three of Katherine’s servants sat on the floor, gathered around what looked like a small replica of the Beacon of Knowledge. But up close, it was clearly made of narrow wooden tiles stacked carefully on top of each other.

Lucy held the pamphlet that came with it, quickly going through the rules.

"So... each of us takes turns pulling out one tile," she said, looking between them. "You have to do it without making the others fall."

She flipped the page slightly.

"And if any tiles fall—not the one you’re trying to take out—then as punishment, you have to either answer a question truthfully... or do a dare. The person before you decides the question and dare."

She paused, scanning the rest.

"...Oh, and the tile you take out? You have to place it back on top of the tower—without knocking it over."

Both Ravees and Cassian nodded—the rules were simple enough.

"Then I’ll go first?" Cassian asked.

They agreed.

He slid out a wooden tile smoothly and placed it on top without any trouble. After that, Ravees took her turn, then Lucy—and the game continued like that.

A few rounds in, a dozen or so tiles had been removed from the middle and stacked above. Gaps had started forming, the structure uneven now. Only a few pieces were left near the base—but no one dared touch them yet.

The tower had started to tremble.

Even the slightest touch made it shift.

Cassian let out a slow breath, steadying his hands. He reached in, gripping one of the lower tiles carefully between his fingers, trying to keep it from shaking.

But the moment he touched it—

The whole tower quivered.

As he slowly pulled the piece out, both women watched him closely—smiles already forming, clearly ready to hand out a punishment.

The block slid halfway out.

Cassian paused, pulling his hand back for a second to wipe the sweat from his forehead. He exhaled, steadying himself.

Then he went for it again.

No hesitation this time.

He gripped it and pulled it out in one clean motion.

For a moment—

Nothing happened.

The tower wobbled... but held.

Lucy let out a small, disappointed sigh. "You’ve got a pretty good pull out game..."

Cassian smirked faintly as he placed the piece on top, raising the height of the tower once again.

The hint in Lucy’s comment went right over Ravees’ head—her focus was already back on the game.

It was her turn.

Even though she kept a straight face, she was clearly enjoying it, trying to hold back a smile. Unlike Cassian, she didn’t hesitate—her fingers moved in smoothly, pulling the tile out in one quick, clean motion before placing it neatly on top.

A small, proud smile slipped through.

"How are you doing that?" Lucy asked, a bit frustrated. Ravees had been making it look way too easy.

"I’m trying that too..."

"Be my guest," Ravees replied calmly.

Lucy reached in, attempting the same swift move—

The tile came out.

And in the next second—

The whole tower collapsed.

Wooden pieces scattered across the floor.

Cassian and Ravees both broke into smiles at the sight, while Lucy just sat there, staring at the mess with clear disappointment.

"Truth or dare?" Ravees asked, a slight smirk forming.

Lucy let out a small sigh. "Dare... go on, give me something good."

Ravees paused, thinking for a moment before narrowing her eyes slightly. "So... whatever I say, you’ll do it?"

"Well, not anything," Lucy replied with a faint smile. "Nothing illegal or anything like that. But yeah... anything from barking like a dog to slapping myself—though let’s keep it to just one act."

Ravees nodded, thinking for a moment.

Cassian, just watching from the side, already had a wide smirk on his face, clearly curious about what she’d come up with.

A few seconds passed.

Then Ravees’ lips curled into a mischievous grin.

"Then... slap Cassian for me."

The smirk on his face dropped instantly.

"Hey—that’s not fair..." he protested. "That’s not even part of the rules—"

"It is," Lucy cut in, her own smirk appearing now.

Cassian looked between the two of them, clearly annoyed, before letting out a breath. "Fine... just wait for my turn."

He leaned in slightly, turning his face toward Lucy, offering his cheek.

Ravees’ smirk only widened.

"Don’t hold back," she said. "I want to see your handprint on his face."

Lucy nodded. "Sorry... her order," she said—

But the smile on her face said she wasn’t sorry at all.

Her hand came down with a sharp slap that echoed through the room.

Thanks to his pain immunity, Cassian barely felt it—but the mark was there, a clear red imprint across his cheek.

He clicked his tongue, annoyed, and started rebuilding the tower, stacking each level back with three tiles.

They started again.

This time, the pace picked up.

Tiles slipped out faster, the structure growing taller and shakier. Soon, the middle layers had only two tiles left each, gaps widening, the whole thing starting to sway more with every touch.

A few minutes later, it was barely holding.

Only a couple of layers still had two tiles—the rest were dangerously thin.

The tower wobbled.

It was Cassian’s turn.

A confident smirk spread across his face as he leaned in. Instead of carefully pulling one out, he flicked a single tile from the middle with his finger.

It shot out from the other side, sliding across and hitting the bed.

For a second—

It worked.

The upper half dropped neatly onto the lower one, settling in place.

Both women looked shocked.

Then—

A slight wobble.

And the entire thing collapsed.

Cassian let out a disappointed sigh.

"...I choose dare."

Now it was Lucy’s turn.

And it looked like she already had something in mind.

"Make me moan... using only your lips," she said, a playful edge in her voice.

Cassian’s smirk widened instantly.

Ravees, on the other hand, looked genuinely surprised. It was the first time since they started that she realized the dares could turn... like this.

As Cassian moved closer, that same confident grin on his face, Lucy didn’t back away—if anything, she looked amused, almost expectant.

Ravees watched them, unsure.

Whether to stop it...

Or just stay silent—and see what happened.
