Chapter 1484: Chapter 913: Creative Plagiarism of Noise in the Library Tower

Entering the Library Tower once more, Fingerley’s mood wasn’t really fluctuating much.

Because the crystallization on his own arm had spread above his shoulder and reached his neck due to the earlier battle with White Dragon Heiss, leaving him with no room for superfluous thoughts!

Not only on the right hand, even the left hand had crystals piercing out!

"I won’t be leaving the cell again."

Sitting cross-legged on the floor, he expressed his firm resolution not to continue any action.

What a joke, if he continued exploring the Library Tower, it might end up with Nadi having to carry his fully crystallized self out.

No one knows how long it takes for full-body crystallization to heal, maybe a dozen days or so.

As long as he obediently stays in this initial cell, he won’t be affected by the outside brass horn, which was a discovery made after a round by the Skyrim Strategy Group.

You ask why Luluwo and the others didn’t come with Fingerley, are they still searching for a way to hatch the egg?

Because not long ago, the Skyrim Strategy Group heard about this place and took a stroll around it.

Then the whole group crawled out with more than half their bodies crystallized, Luluwo had only his head left movable, and he’s probably still recuperating now.

Even more sadly, the egg on his head hadn’t been removed....

"It’s better for you to stay here; if the crystallization worsens, it would really be troublesome."

Turci expressed support for his decision, though the lack of a strong front-line role does affect the exploration somewhat.

She turned to look at Nadi, the injury on her shoulder had completely healed, now showing no signs of crystallization infection—though that’s just the surface.

If the crystal dust has already flowed through her blood and spread throughout her body, the outbreak would be even worse than Fingerley.

Thinking of this, Turci said, "Nadi, you also rest here."

"Okay, you guys be careful."

Nadi accepted it readily, she sat on the other side of the cell and instantly entered a relaxed state.

No one knew what she was thinking while staring at the ceiling, was it a review of the battle with White Dragon Heiss?

Only to hear her mutter to herself:

"Contact Elo and Hidor after going out to have a look."

It’s surprising she’s considering bringing in those two clan leaders from the Dragon Clan residing in Warrior Country.

Before the group had even begun to act, two members were confirmed to be out, while Hades beside them looked like he’s in a reverie, still able to react to others’ words, but seemed a step slower, questioning whether he could still exhibit combat power in this situation?

Considering this, Turci also let Hades stay in the cell without coming out.

Hades had no objections, squatting in a corner scribbling incomprehensible magic words in the air with his finger, likely deducing new magic.

"Just the two of us left," Turci looked at Vienma.

Vienma raised a brow, "Don’t drag me down."

"Who will drag whom down is yet to be seen."

The only two able to act seemed not very cooperative.

The tense atmosphere surrounded the two Great Mages as they slayed the sleeping Snake-man, walked out of the cell, barely glimpsed the structure of the Library Tower before hurried footsteps were heard below.

Just as Fingerley had mentioned, as long as you don’t block the Snake-man’s path, you won’t get attacked, yet the final intent of these two Snake-men was to rush up and activate the brass horn, the Library Tower’s largest weapon.

If you want to have a less painful exploration journey in the Library Tower, it’s better to eliminate these two fellows, right?

However, Vienma and Turci refused!

The two mutually stepped aside, letting the Snake-men pass by, watching them rush up to activate the brass horn.

Earpiercing and chaotic music abruptly resonated from the brass horn, the two exchanged a glance, simultaneously asking:

"Why didn’t you hit him?" x2

"I have my own plan." x2

"...." x2

Both fell silent for a moment, ultimately not blurting out "Why are you mimicking me," lest they simultaneously speak again making it awkward.

They evidently mastered noise-cancelling magic, but for some reason, neither used it, simply listened to the commotion as they descended the stairs, unsurprisingly encountering a group of obstructing Snake-men.

Vienma tapped the ground with her magic wand, suddenly sprouting an empty vine corridor extending to the Snake-men’s feet, initially startling them thinking the vines might attack them but later realized they were harmless plants.

Just as their faces showed "What does this mean," the vines suddenly blossomed with clusters of yellow flowers, covering the steps Vienma stood on with blooming flora, adding a touch of vitality to the otherwise eerie Library Tower.

Her magic wand manifested no magic power fluctuations, but a flash of yellow light passed in her eyes, leading to a magic-formed bolt of lightning striking down with a boom.

The Snake-men instantly dispersed in defense, but the bolt, suddenly influenced by mysterious power, fragmented into countless lightning columns, hitting all the Snake-men solidly!
