Once inside the hall, it became rowdy, with music, laughter, and screams mixed together, causing people to feel unsettled.

Someone had overturned a wine bottle, the strong smell of alcohol floating in the air, mixed with some unpleasant odors, making the air thick and suffocating.

Scarlett Yates frowned; her first impression of this place was not good.

In the corridor, people came and went.

Matthew Saxon gripped Scarlett Yates’s hand tightly, pulling her half-body to lean against him.

Ward led the two inside, passing through a long corridor, and took the elevator to the fifth floor. After exiting the elevator, the surroundings were completely different from downstairs.
