Will the Aloof Billionaire Divorce Today?
Chapter 1062: He’s Lost His Mind
She had seen this kind of look in Matthew Saxon before; it was the kind of look a man shows only when he desires a woman.
Scarlett Yates felt alarm bells ring violently in her heart and shouted, "Help!"
She never imagined that one day she would be calling for help because of Maxwell Saxon.
Several times she had been in this sort of predicament, and ultimately, Maxwell Saxon had rescued her.
Back then, he was like a godsend, saving her from danger.
Back then, in her mind, he was like a savior.
But now, this man who had saved her many times was about to do something no different from those beasts.
This time, who could possibly pull her from the jaws of danger?
Scarlett Yates screamed at the top of her lungs, "Help! Help!"
Maxwell Saxon was completely indifferent; even as she screamed for help, he didn’t reach out to cover her mouth, seemingly not worried at all that anyone would hear her cries.
His fearless arrogance made Scarlett Yates increasingly terrified.
She struggled desperately, fighting with all her limbs, even trying to open her mouth to bite him.
But when a man truly wants a woman, it’s not easy to escape.
She resisted with all her strength, but Maxwell Saxon turned and easily pinned her wrists down, dragging her further inward.
"Maxwell Saxon, let me go! What are you trying to do?"
"Are you insane? Matthew Saxon will come looking soon; are you not afraid he’ll send you to the police again?"
"Maxwell Saxon, someone must have heard my cries by now; they’ll rush in any second. It’s not too late for you to let go. Do you hear me?"
After her frantic and fearful rush of words, Maxwell Saxon dragged her to a stop in front of a wooden door.
He reached out to push it open, and before pulling Scarlett Yates inside, he sneered, saying, "Darknight City’s best feature is the soundproofing in its suites, even if you kill someone inside, no one outside would know."
"Your cries for help are heard by no one but me."
Scarlett Yates’ heart sank into an icy pool, coldness seeping in bit by bit.
No wonder she had been shouting for so long and there hadn’t been any movement outside.
Maxwell Saxon exerted force on his arm and dragged her inside the small room within the suite.
It was pitch black inside, and the lights were off.
Maxwell Saxon didn’t plan to turn on the lights, pulling Scarlett Yates to the bed, and then throwing her onto it.
Scarlett Yates was thrown into a dizzy haze, and before she could climb back up, she fell once more into Maxwell Saxon’s grasp.
He held her hands high above her head with one hand, and seized her jaw with the other.
As his heated breath approached: "If I’m guessing right, Matthew Saxon hasn’t touched you, correct?"
His breath was warm, yet as it enveloped Scarlett Yates’ cheeks, she felt a piercing chill.
Cold, really cold.
Her limbs seemed frozen stiff, her whole body turning rigid, tense with anxiety and fear; her voice was tense as well: "Maxwell Saxon, I know you’re not this kind of person, you’ll let me go, won’t you?"
"Then tell me, what kind of person am I?" He chuckled lightly, yet the humor was more terrifying than if he hadn’t smiled at all.
Scarlett Yates shivered all over.
Her heart was pounding fiercely, and a voice in her mind kept telling her to stay calm, she must stay calm.
