Matthew Saxon sneered, his lips curved mockingly, his handsome face shrouded in gloom, and the eyes devoid of warmth were filled with ridicule. "I gave you a chance, but you chose to ignore it. Scarlett Yates, you really disappoint me."

When the word ’disappointment’ came out of his mouth, when he looked at her with cold and disappointed eyes, Scarlett Yates’s heart couldn’t help but panick.

"Matthew Saxon, I didn’t know he was in Darknight City either. When I saw him, I was surprised too. He asked me to stay and talk for a while. I refused him, but he wouldn’t let me leave."

"It’s really not what you think. I told him everything I needed to say, but he..."

"But he’s obsessed with you and refuses to let go, isn’t that so?" Matthew Saxon interrupted her unfinished words with a cold laugh.

"I bet he said a lot of moving things to you, at first you refused him, but then you were touched by him, and the two of you couldn’t help but engage in some intimate behavior..." Towards the end, his face grew darker, his long eyes half-closed dangerously, and his sharp gaze fell chillingly on her chest.

Just thinking about it made Matthew Saxon even want to kill Maxwell Saxon.

She deceived him.

She wasted the trust he had in her.

He pampered her, cherished her, treated her like a sweetie, and this is how she repays him?

On the way back to Saxon Mansion, he received a phone call.

The call was from someone in Darknight City.

Although Vincent Reed had immediately checked the surveillance when she first disappeared, he hadn’t bothered about it after she returned safely to his side.

The investigation results were actively reported to him by someone from Darknight City. The caller was Ward, who hesitated for a long time before, upon Matthew’s impatient outburst, revealing in a strange tone what the surveillance footage showed.

In the surveillance, Scarlett Yates was pulled into a private room by a man.
