Lin Fan was caught off guard by this question, but he knew that it was directed right at him since the old man was looking at him. It was just that he didn’t know what the old man was talking about since he didn’t know how much the old man could see through him.

At first, he took out the map that he had been following before taking out the trinkets.

The old man didn’t seem interested in these things, even though it seemed like he did recognize these things. From his reactions, it seemed like these things had come from the Dao Sect and it seemed like they came from a special place in the Dao Sect.

It was just that this wasn’t what the old man cared about right now.

Ye Qing Huan looked at Lin Fan with a questioning look when she heard the old man say this, but Lin Fan had the same confused look on his face. After all, he had no idea why the old man cared this much about this item.

"It’s alright if you don’t know since this isn’t something that anyone other than our Dao Sect should know about." The old man shook his head and gave a sigh before he said, "That token is a special one, it will grant you access to plenty of places in these ruins. Of course, you won’t be able to receive the rewards that you would have received if you use this token. It’s a shortcut that will let you bypass some of the trials that you should face, but it’s universal which means that it does have its uses."

The old man didn’t seem like he was going to elaborate further than this.

Not to mention that he was already starting to fade.

The final words that he left were, "Go and see what this world has to offer."

Of course, these words weren’t for Lin Fan or Ye Qing Huan.
