Wizard: Starting With Synthesized Gems
Chapter 354: The Wealthy Patron Who Booked the Entire Cabin
Locke searched around and saw a wizard old man standing outside the crowd, carrying a box on his back. This wizard old man wore a green wizard robe with the Hand of the Jungle emblem badge pinned to the upper left corner of his robe.
On his already bald head, he had planted a green lotus leaf, like a rain hat or parasol, blocking the top of his head.
This old man also saw Locke.
He immediately walked over, "Hello, you must be Breeder Augustine, right? I'm Salvador DalΓ, Hand of the Jungle's famous ecological restoration expert. So far, I've never failed in my work."
He proactively extended his hand to Locke.
Locke was stunned for a moment, then shook hands with him.
Salvador appeared extremely enthusiastic. Carrying a small wooden box, he still chatted endlessly with Locke, "I've seen your achievements. Your Jade Iris Lichen is indeed a revolutionary apprentice-level magical plant."
"Look, I've even recorded it in my notes."
Salvador took out a notebook from his astral ring. Opening it, it was full of rather abstract line drawings, "Some regions have damaged ecologies because of special curses. If Jade Iris Lichen is planted on a large scale, then this problem can be solved. Moreover, I discovered that Jade Iris Lichen has very powerful wind element particle fixation ability, and can even serve as a green fertilizer-type magical plant, becoming a source of ether elemental particles."
Salvador seemed extremely enthusiastic about Locke's Jade Iris work, "So, when Christine told me that you would be escorting me this time, it really boosted my confidence."
"An excellent breeder like you must also have a deep understanding of nature and be a wizard of noble character."
Locke couldn't help but nod slightly, "Yes, Wizard Salvador, your insights are indeed very reasonable. Many wizards in the southeastern quadrant have misunderstood me."
Locke thought, why on earth did Christine think this Wizard Salvador before him was difficult to deal with?
Isn't he just a very lovable little old man?
Locke reminded him, "Jade Iris Lichen isn't suitable as a green fertilizer-type magical plant, because the ether elemental particles that lichen can provide after death are really too few. Moreover, Jade Iris Lichen has powerful vitality and can't wither quickly."
Wizard Salvador's eyes lit up slightly. This little old man looked as if he'd found a kindred spirit.
"Only through ecological practice can one obtain such true knowledge."
"It seems, Wizard Augustine, you must also have practical experience in ecology."
Locke thought for a moment. Indeed, because of the Forest Sanctuary, he had personally created a forest prototype covering 30 acres. He did indeed have some insights into ecology.
Wizard Salvador was very excited, "That's wonderful. My confidence in you has grown even stronger. For this journey to have such a powerful and noble wizard responsible for protecting me is truly the best outcome."
Wizard Salvador looked at Wizard Cord beside Locke and frowned with displeasure, "A family wizard from the Land of Six Towers? Damn it."
The smile on the old man's face immediately disappeared. He stood beside Locke, as if unable to come in contact with Wizard Cord. ππ£ππ²π°πππ§π π§ππ.πππΊ
"Christine didn't tell me I'd have to travel together with these sinful ecological destruction murderers."
"Wizard Augustine, must we sit together with him?"
Locke opened his mouth, his heart sinking, thinking this was bad. So the trouble was here.
Locke said, "Yes, shouldn't that be fine?"
Wizard Salvador had a disgusted expression, but he looked at Locke, then at Wizard Cord, as if weighing things in his heart.
For him, being escorted by such a reliable plant magic wizard was truly rare, but having to travel with an Evocation School wizard made him very uncomfortable.
So Wizard Salvador took out seven or eight masks and gloves from his astral ring to wear on himself, and explained to Locke, "These ecological destroyers all carry some unclean things on them. I need to minimize contact with them as much as possible."
"However, it's fine. Wizard Augustine, you're an exception. An accomplished breeder and botanist like you is a favorite of nature, the kind of person we at Hand of the Jungle like most."
Locke watched as the strange old man Wizard Salvador swiftly put on six layers of masks and a pair of gloves. Each layer of mask was also printed with Hand of the Jungle slogans, such as [Sinners who destroy ecology should all be immediately imprisoned in wizard prisons], [You are destroying the survival environment of future generations], [Killing one fish equals killing ten people]...
Locke's heart sank. Only now did he understand why Senior Christine wanted to sell him the Hive Mind Potion at half price.
Locke wanted to speak but stopped himself. But seeing the strange old man Salvador's eyes full of conviction comparable to those from the Ghost Sacred Order, he kept his mouth shut.
'No wonder Senior wanted me to escort him.' Locke thought. 'If not me, they couldn't. If they found a wizard from another discipline, they'd definitely be sprayed to death by this old man treating them as an untouchable.'
'In this old man's heart, there seems to be a hierarchical order. Plant magic wizards are the highest level, then wizards from other disciplines are arranged in order... I wonder what this old man's reaction would be if he saw a Necromancy School wizard.'
Locke ignored the awkward atmosphere and said, "Since there's no problem, let's board the ship."
Locke glanced at the old man Salvador. He didn't know what the business logic behind Hand of the Jungle was. Such extreme ideology could actually attract support from so many important figures.
Leading to Hand of the Jungle developing more and more.
The three came to the boarding area, and then learned something from a First-rank wizard apprentice clerk.
The clerk at the boarding gate bowed deeply to the three, apologizing, "Sorry, three wizard lords. You originally booked three premium seats on the Day-Chasing Silver Shuttle, right? But now the premium seat area has been... booked by a wizard. She paid double the price."
"A full three hundred thousand magic stones!"
"So, everyone, you can wait for the next trip, and we Day-Chasing Silver Shuttle will compensate, or you can go to first-class seats. We'll refund you the price difference."
The Day-Chasing Silver Shuttle seemed to be operated by an Alchemy School wizard organization. The First-rank wizard apprentice clerk wore a wizard robe with their wizard academy's emblem.
The entire wizard airship seemed to be their academy's stationed location.
Wizard Cord was somewhat angry, "But we made reservations before."
The clerk was somewhat afraid, "My lord, I'm truly sorry..."
Locke stopped Wizard Cord, saying, "Then let's switch to first-class seats."
Actually, first-class seats and premium seats didn't differ much. It was just a title. It's just that Peggy, for some unknown reason, had booked the best seats for him, premium seats.
Locke saw a group of wizards in the distance with quite a few people. Those wizards surrounded one witch like stars surrounding the moon.
That witch looked not very old, only in her early twenties with an innocent appearance, and her face was extremely beautiful. She wore a wizard robe studded with gems, exuding nobility.
Among her guards, there was actually a First Circle old wizard at the liquefaction stage, seemingly a family elder, always following her closely, personally protecting her.
Wizard Cord originally felt angry, but after seeing that person, he immediately lost his temper. Instead, he said to Locke in a low voice, "Lord Augustine, that person is actually the little princess of the Land of Six Towers' ruling family, the Plutarch family, Alicia Plutarch. I heard she's also a Child of Elements, the witch with the highest talent in this generation of the Plutarch family, so great hopes are placed on her."
"So it's her. No wonder she's so wealthy."
Locke looked from afar at Alicia Plutarch. Whatever, as long as it didn't affect him escorting the strange old man to earn money, it didn't matter.
