Worldwide Class Change: An Invincible Swordsman - Chapter 4, Heading to the Wilderness to Upgrade Level_1
Jiang Chen had only this one sister at home, and although she was not his birth sister, she was even dearer to him than if she were.
As for their parents. They were sacrificers to thesky with boundless magical powers and had no need for a bicycle.
The Shadow Assassin was very strong and was also a hidden class. In the darkness, they were an invincible presence, capable of assassinating enemies without anyone being the wiser.
DING DING DING...
Jiang Chen looked at his phone: the Senior Class 3 Combat Group.
He looked at the list above. All were students who had switched to Combat Classes. Including Jiang Chen, there were a total of ten people, among them Murong Xue and Wang Gang, two A-grade hidden class members.
Out of the sixty-plus students in the class, only ten were Combat Classes, with the rest either unclassed students or those of the lifestyle Class. šššššØš²šššØšÆšš.šš¼šŗ
Lifestyle Classes didnāt need to fight monsters to level up; their Skills had no combat capabilities whatsoever.
The class leader sent out a message: "Everyoneās in the group now. In seven days, the school will hold a trial, and you will know which school has admitted you."
"So, within these seven days, I hope everyone will train hard and strive to reach Level 10 or above. Only those who reach Level 10 have a chance to enter a Top Academy."
"For this reason, the principal has arranged for Support teachers to help you grow quickly. The location is Green Rabbit Meadow. Please attend."
Jiang Chen looked at the message.
As long as one went through the class change to become a Combat Class, there would be teachers to help upgrade Levels, striving to quickly upgrade their strength within seven days.
This was also to train the studentsā ability to fight in the wild.
For commoners, this was definitely nice.
But there were few teachers, and it wasnāt one-on-one training. Instead, five students formed a team with a teacher instructing them on how to fight.
Five students in a team meant sharing the experience.
Jiang Chen didnāt want to reveal himself prematurely, nor did he want to share the experience.
Jiang Chen continued to look at the message.
The class leader continued, "If any student wishes to move freely, please state your name."
Murong Xue, "Teacher, Iāll move freely."
Wang Gang, "Teacher, Iāll move freely."
Jiang Chen saw the messages from the two. Murong Xue belonged to the Murong Family. She definitely had powerful figures to support her through her novice period.
Wang Gang was different. Being the teacherās nephew, he was even less likely to participate in school-organized activities.
Those with Clan backing didnāt even deign to participate in such events.
Jiang Chenās fingers moved rapidly, "Teacher, Iāll move freely as well."
Class leader, "Are you sure, Jiang Chen? The assessment is in seven days. To get into a good institution, you must be Level 10 or above. Can you manage to upgrade to Level 10 within seven days?"
Jiang Chen, "Donāt worry, Teacher. Iāve got it under control."
Class leader, "Alright then, just be careful on your own."
Jiang Chen, "Thank you for the reminder, Teacher."
...
ćInside the villa.ć
Murong Xue looked at the messages, puzzled.
Why is Jiang Chen choosing free movement?
He only had one sister at home, and this older sister was an S-grade Shadow Assassin. But she was now in Shenlong Academy, the topmost academy throughout the Dragon Nation.
Was he planning to give up, to just throw in the towel?
Being a Swordsman might only be a D-grade Class, but that still beat those without a Class, certainly much better than a lifestyle Class.
Murong Xue picked up her phone.
...
Jiang Chen turned on the computer and searched for a new map.
DING DING...
āYou have a friend request.ā
Jiang Chen saw and opened it. Murong Xue? What does this goddess want by adding me?
Accept.
Murong Xue, "Jiang Chen, why do you want to move freely? Do you have a tutor to guide you?"
Jiang Chen, "No, I plan to go out into the wild for a trial."
Murong Xue, "Going into the wild by yourself is very dangerous. Many students who have taken a Class want to try it out firsthand. Itās still safer to train with a Support teacher. That way, thereās no danger."
?????
Why did this goddess suddenly start caring about me? This is a bit bewildering.
Jiang Chen replied, "Thank you for your concern, but I have it under control."
"Be careful then."
"Mhm."
Jiang Chen set his phone aside. He currently had no mood to chat with the goddess.
Jiang Chen checked on his computer where novices trained.
ćThe next morning.ć
Jiang Chen headed to Yan City, to the Class Guild of Yan City.
This was the gathering place for Classes of Yan City. It was also where transactions within the profession took place, missions were commissioned and accepted, and teleportations were conducted through Formations.
Every day, many Classes came in and out of here, crowding the place.
The hall was filled with various Classes.
There were Beast Tribeās Warriors with their upper bodies bare, carrying battle axes and showing off their strong muscles. There were also elf-like Archers carrying bows and arrows, with Short Swords tucked at their belts.
There were Magicians clad in Robes, holding Magic Wands, and Priests carrying crosses.
And there were Summoners accompanied by their pets.
All of them were powerful Classes who had passed their novice period. Jiang Chen looked at these Classes with envy. When could he, like them, get through the novice period?
"Rookie, make some room."
Jiang Chen turned around, only to see a voluptuous woman smiling at him, and he stepped aside.
The womanās name was Murong Yi, an Archer, followed by several formidable warriors.
Several warriors followed Murong Yi into the hall.
Murong Yi turned around to take another look at Jiang Chen.
Her teammates chuckled.
"Captain, do you take an interest in this kid?"
"You know, this kid is pretty handsome. He would be good to keep at home."
"Indeed, heās handsome, or else the captain wouldnāt have turned back to look."
"He must be a recent graduate. Shouldnāt he be following a Support teacher to learn? How come heās here alone?"
"Thatās just like me back in the day, thinking that after a Class change, I wanted to show off my strength. Itās a pity that the Warcraft in the wild arenāt so easy to kill. I bet he would pee his pants if he went out there."
"HAHA... We all went through that once."
The few of them chatted happily, not taking the little rookie Jiang Chen seriously at all.
Jiang Chen continued walking forward, following behind Murong Yi and her team. Jiang Chenās goal was the same as theirs: to teleport into the wild, slay monsters, and upgrade his strength.
Passing through the hall, he reached the ticket booth.
Standing in line, Jiang Chen said, "Excuse me, Miss, one teleportation ticket to Tattens Hills, please."
"Please wait, that will be one thousand. Here is your teleportation ticket."
"Thank you."
Jiang Chen walked along the corridor into the altar of the Teleportation Array.
A sign nearby indicated the location:
Tattens Hills.
This was Jiang Chenās destination.
The altar was engraved with many Runes. It was a Teleportation Array that could teleport people hundreds, even thousands of kilometers away.
Two people on the side were directing Classes to step onto the altar, in groups of three to five. Jiang Chen handed over his ticket, joined them, and stood on the altar. His heart brimming with excitement.
As a flash of white light occurred, the Teleportation Array activated.
Jiang Chen only felt a rush of downward velocity, and he fell to the ground.
Those around curiously looked at Jiang Chen.
Jiang Chenās face flushed with embarrassment, and he quickly got up, tidying his clothes.
"This must be a new kid."
"Really foolhardy, to come alone to Tattens Hills."
"I bet if he sees Demons, heāll probably wet his pants."
Murong Yi laughed, "Didnāt all of you come from that age too? What gives you the right to talk about him? After all, he dared to go out alone. Doesnāt that courage deserve some praise from you?"
"Murong Yi, you canāt possibly be interested in this youngster, can you?"
"The kid is quite handsome. Itād be a shame if he died out there!"
"HEHE... Careful there, buddy. The āBlack Widowā is standing beside you. Watch out she doesnāt eat you up."
Murong Yi snapped, "Get lost."
The group burst into laughter and turned to leave.
Clearly, they knew the voluptuous woman in front of them.
