Hearing these words, Jason also froze slightly. He stared at Kris blankly.

Indeed, he’s told Kris that he would get married to her this time.

But he was doing this now.... what the hell was he doing to this woman.

He turned around to look at Scarlet. Scarlet lowered her head, covering her face with one hand and grabbing his suit with the other hand to cover her naked body.

At the moment, she was like a hedgehog, protecting herself from them.

She never did anything wrong. This time it was his fault. He could not throw her away this time.

"Let me send her to the hospital. Then I would right back to explain everything to you."

"No. Explain now. Which one do you choose? Me or her?"

Scarlet or Kris.

Jason frowned. He didn’t know what to choose. Certainly, he would choose Kris because he had promised to himself that he would never do anything stupid for Scarlet. But....at the moment, he really didn’t want to leave Scarlet alone.

"Kris, stop asking such stupid question," Jason felt exhausted. He tried to persuade Kris.

Hearing these words, Kris raised a ridiculing smile at the corner of her mouth.

"Stupid? What kind of stupid thing are you doing here?"

She raised her fingers, pointing at the woman in Jason’s arms. She burst into tears, "We would get married tomorrow, Jason. But now you are still in another woman’s room. The last sentence deeply hurt Jason’s heart.

He pinched Scarlet’s arms harder and harder.

Scarlet gradually got sober. She realized how ridiculous this was.

She totally recovered from the pain of losing her wedding dress. She raised her eyes, fixing her eyes on Kris and said in an indifferent voice, "Have you finished?"

"What?" hearing her words, Kris froze.

"If you’ve finished, Please leave here now. Get the hell out of here now. It is none of my business. Could you fight with each other at home? I don’t want to see this. I feel shame for you. You both have a high reputation. You don’t need to quarrel about me. I don’t deserve it. I really appreciate it that you’ve said these to me. Now it is time for you to get the hell out of my world. Then, she stepped backward and got rid of Jason.

Jason looked at her in shock. Her face turned paler now. Apparently, she was trying to hide her vulnerability.

At the moment, one more word might make her break down immediately.

"Scarlet..." Jason couldn’t help himself spelling her name out in a quiet, gentle voice.

Such softness at the moment shocked himself. He suddenly remembered something, but it disappeared so quickly that he could not capture it.

What was that?

Jason had a feeling that there must be something between him and Scarlet.

Hearing his voice, Scarlet got crazier, "Go. Get the hell out of here right now. Please, I’m begging you, leave me alone,"

She rushed to them and pushed them out of the door.

After she closed the door, she leaned against the door, slowly slipping down. Tears poured out of her eyes.

She didn’t know whether this was the most embarrassing moment because she had lots of uncomfortable moments.

She thought that God might be punishing her.

That God exploited lots of things from her. But he didn’t want to give her anything.

This might be her fate.

While thinking about this, Scarlet couldn’t help herself bursting into laughter. But tears kept pouring out from her eyes.

Jason stood at the door, blankly. He didn’t know how to calm himself down.

He pressed his hands on his chest. He didn’t know why he felt so much pain at the moment.

Seeing the expression on Jason’s face, Kris got worried,

"Jason, are you all right?"

She didn’t approach him. But Jason stepped backward.

Kris looked at him in astonishment. She didn’t know how to explain this movement.

Jason frowned and stared at the woman in front of him, confusingly.

"Why..."

He asked.

"Why what?"

"Why do I feel heartbroken at this moment? Why do I feel heartbroken when I see her vulnerability? I hate her. I hate her so much. I hate her so deeply that I want to choke her to death. I should hate her, right? My heart was filled with hatred. I hate her every second. I should torture her. That would make me happy. But why? Why do I feel heartbroken at the moment?"

Jason asked, like a kid that was confronted with a hard question in front of his parents.

Hearing his words, Kris was deeply shocked. She burst into tears.

This man was still in love with Scarlet. It was she that kept lying to herself all the time.

Jason kept asking himself this question. But his headache got worse and worse.

Seeing the man that she loved profoundly falling down in front of her, she got so nervous.

"Jason, Jason....help, somebody, help him."

Soon the waiter arrived. He helped them contact the ambulance.

Then, Jason was sent away.

After they left, Scarlet was still standing there.

She felt it was just like a dream just now. It was a nightmare. She knew what happened to Jason. But she didn’t dare to open the door because she was not qualified enough to do that.

When she heard Kris’s crying, she felt her heart was bleeding.

She stood up slowly, taking off his suit and put her clothes on. Then she picked up all pieces of her wedding dress and put them into her luggage. Then, she packed everything up and checked out.

The night looked quite cold. Scarlet stood on the side of the road, stepping on the shadow under the lamp. Under the night sky, she looked so lonely.

There were several taxis parking in front of her. When the driver asked her where she wanted to go, she just shook her head. Looking at those taxis leaving, she got more confused. She didn’t know where she could go now.

She had been standing under the road lamp for quite a long time. In the end, Kris called her and asked her to wait for her at a place.

Kris said she needed to talk to her. She wanted to tell Scarlet a lot.

Fine. Scarlet could talk to her now. She had nothing to be scared of now.
