Chapter 884: Chapter 884: She Was Waiting For His Answer

Hearing her words, Jason squinted. Deep in his eyes was a cold light. But he immediately returned to normal.

It was his instinct. He always got angry when he heard someone hurt Scarlet.

Jason frowned and asked her, "Did she know I had been hypothesized?"

"I didn’t tell her. How could I tell her?"

"But you know she would compete against you," Jason said in a cold voice.

Hearing these words, Kris burst into laughter, "Yeah. I know she would not compete against me for you. But she loves you. I would never be able to smile at her sincerely. Do you really think I could tell her everything? Jason, frankly speaking, are you really able to do so, if you were me?"

Hearing these words, Jason immediately fell into silence.

Kris kept talking. She smiled. The smile on her face at the moment looked ridiculous.

"I know I’ve made a mistake. I should have to stop your mother hypothesizing you. But I love you. You don’t want to lie to me. Then I would lie to myself. However, unexpectedly, I still failed this time. The good life is short. During those days when you thought you loved me, I feel really happy. Jason. "Really? Are you really willing to do anything for her?" Kris looked into his eyes.

"Yes."

Jason answered, without any hesitation. He sounded so determined.

Kris nodded. Then she took a surgery knife out. She took it from the operation room, in silence.

She passed the knife to him and said, "Give it to me."

"You want my life?"

"Exactly."

"Fine, I am willing to do so, if we can learn even from now on," Jason took the knife without hesitation and grabbed her hands.

"If you could feel better."

He said in a peaceful voice. 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂

Hearing these words, Kris shouted out angrily, "Don’t you think I dare to do so? Jason, you hurt me over and over again. I certainly want to kill you. Do you really think you can frighten me by forcing me?"

Hearing these words, Jason smiled slightly.

"I just want to get even with you. I don’t want to owe you anything. Luckily, you don’t ask me to give you an arm or a leg. Otherwise, that would look ugly. When Scarlet wakes up and sees me, she would feel sadder."

"Why....why do you still talk about her? Don’t mention that woman in front of me. Never."

Kris stepped towards her and pointed the knife at his chest.

The knife was quite sharp. Immediately it got into the skin.

Blood oozed out immediately. But Kris didn’t deepen the knife. Jason would not die.

Jason’s eyes remained calm and peaceful. He turned towards her and said in an indifferent voice, "If I die, don’t tell her I’ve come to her."

"Don’t mention her. Couldn’t you understand my words?" Kris shouted out crazily.

His fingers started trembling. The knife got deeper and deeper.

Apart from cold sweat on his forehead, Jason looked quite normal as if he could not feel the pain.

"Go ahead."

He spat these two words out. Then he grabbed the knife and pressed it hard.

However, at the moment, Kris suddenly threw the knife away.

She could not help herself trembling.

"I am wrong...I really make a mistake. I don’t want you to die. I won’t be happy if you really die."

"Kris...." Jason frowned slightly. Seeing the embarrassment of her face, he wanted to touch her. But she stepped away immediately.

She leaned against the wall, tumbling. Tears kept oozing out from her eyes.

"Because she would sacrifice this for me, too."

This was the first time for Kris to be told by Jason the difference between her and Scarlet.

"Since she’s given up on you, why do you still insist on this? Apparently, she wished you to leave, don’t you think so?" Kris said in a painful voice, "I don’t know what I’ve done wrong. I love you. I want you to stay with me forever. What’s wrong with that?"

"No one is wrong. You never do anything wrong. Everyone believes he is right. I love her. I don’t love you. Understand?"

Jason said word by word.

He didn’t love her.

He really didn’t love her.

Hearing his words, Kris couldn’t think about anything immediately.
