70s Delicate Girl: A Guide to Being a Rich Woman
Chapter 408: Application Approved
The academic dean looked at the early graduation application submitted by Yin Yang, twitching at the corners of his mouth. Just a few days ago, he had also received an early graduation application from Huo Qingze.
"Are you really ready to graduate early?" the academic dean asked Yin Yang with a complicated expression.
"Yes, I’m pretty much done with my studies and plan to take the early graduation exam at the end of this semester," Yin Yang said seriously.
"You’re only a sophomore, what’s the rush?" The academic dean looked at the application in his hand and then at the two of them. He still remembered Xu Mumu, who had been specially commended by the whole school last time.
Looking at their relationship, they were either married or dating.
"I have my own things to deal with and not much time to attend classes at school," Yin Yang naturally couldn’t explain in detail to the academic dean.
"I’m not making things difficult for you. You need to get your advisor and subject teachers to sign this application before I can approve it," the academic dean said earnestly, placing the application back in Yin Yang’s hands.
Having the subject teachers sign is mainly to know the student’s learning progress. If all the teachers think he’s competent, they will sign it for him.
Previously, Huo Qingze’s application was approved somehow, even though getting those old stubborn teachers in the Chemistry Faculty to agree seemed impossible. Yet, they signed it, and the school couldn’t refuse his request.
Yin Yang nodded, thanked the academic dean, and left the dean’s office with Xu Mumu, planning to find those teachers for signatures the next day.
Upon leaving the school, Xu Mumu inquired about Yin Yang’s study progress, "Yin Yang, where are you in your studies? Can you really finish this semester?" Xu Mumu seemed a bit worried.
"I’ve finished half of the junior year’s curriculum. Don’t worry, it’s not difficult, and I’ll definitely finish it before the end of the term," Yin Yang said with a light laugh, appreciating Xu Mumu’s concern.
"I’m not worried about you. I’m afraid if you fail the exam, I’ll be embarrassed with you," Xu Mumu blushed as Yin Yang looked at her, saying coyly.
"I won’t let you be embarrassed, don’t worry," Yin Yang laughed even happier.
Yin Yang was quick to act, visiting the teachers the next day. From their assessments, it was confirmed he indeed had the capability, so they signed his graduation application. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
By the afternoon the next day, the academic dean saw Yin Yang again, twitching at the corners of his mouth, wondering what those guys were doing signing the application without even seeing what it was.
"Have you really thought it through? If you don’t pass this exam, you have to follow the school’s regular study schedule," the academic dean looked at Yin Yang seriously, worried about these careless kids.
"Dean, I’ve thought it through, and besides, I’m an adult now with my own judgment and plans," Yin Yang smiled, knowing the dean’s advice was for his own good.
But he had plenty of work to handle each day, and once everything opened up, he’d be even busier, leaving no time to stay at school.
"Since you’ve decided, I won’t stop you," said the academic dean, taking a deep look at Yin Yang, then sighed.
After work yesterday, he specially looked into Yin Yang’s background, learning quite a bit about him from his advisor. This student often took leaves yet maintained excellent grades.
Technically, the school doesn’t allow students to take so many leaves, but upon learning his background, he figured this kid wasn’t simple—not only being Professor Song’s grandson but also having recommendations from higher-ups.
That’s why the academic dean approved his request without hesitation. If it had been someone else, who knows how long he would have pondered.
Yin Yang left the dean’s office with satisfaction, feeling great as his application was finally approved.
"I heard Huo Qingze got his application done too," Yin Yang mentioned to Xu Mumu about Huo Qingze’s situation.
"Let you guys do as you wish," Xu Mumu twitched her lips. Well, the plot had changed long ago. Huo Qingze no longer diligently studied until graduation in his senior year as written in books.
After resolving the obstacles like his stepmother, brother, and sister, Huo Qingze changed even more. Although still low-key in public, he wasn’t low-key about his dealings behind the scenes.
After the graduation application was approved, Yin Yang studied even more seriously, making Madam Chen worry about him and asking Mrs. Liu to concoct various health supplements for them every day.
Yin Yang and Xu Mumu didn’t gain weight, but Professor Song’s health began to improve little by little. Though he couldn’t walk yet, he was much better than before, thanks to all the nutritional supplements at home.
As for Huo Qingze, once he took over the folks Yin Yang handed to him, he let go. Their work efficiency was incredibly high, making him envious of wherever Yin Yang found such talents, unlike his own people.
After letting go, Huo Qingze devoted more time to his studies.
He was living outside now, having bought his own house, not staying at the Huo Family residence.
Madam Chen, seeing Yin Yang studying so hard, secretly inquired about what was going on with him.
Xu Mumu explained the early graduation situation to her, and Madam Chen was astonished, "Learning what takes others three to four years in just half a year?"
"Yes, but Yin Yang is smart and has a good memory, so learning those things isn’t difficult for him," Xu Mumu smiled.
"That must be exhausting. No wonder I see him studying late every night. That’s why you guys are more accomplished than your brother," Madam Chen remarked.
Xu Mumu twitched her mouth, remaining silent. Luckily, her brother didn’t hear their grandmother; otherwise, he’d be heartbroken.
During the college entrance exam period, Xu Minghui was also studying extremely hard. His foundation was weak, requiring him to spend more time learning, not any easier than others.
However, Xu Minghui’s efforts paid off, as he got into a decent university, at least securing his future.
Since Madam Chen learned about Yin Yang’s busyness, she generally kept Fengfeng from bothering Xu Mumu and Yin Yang, fearing they’d be disrupted from their studies.
Professor Song and others found it amusing, yet they were fond of Fengfeng because he was cute, generous, and rarely cried.
Yin Yang’s diligence didn’t go unnoticed by Xu Mumu, but there wasn’t much she could help with. Being unfamiliar with management studies, she couldn’t really highlight any key points—it was all up to him.
However, Professor Song had great confidence in his grandson. Yin Yang had always been smarter and faster at learning than others since childhood, needing no extra concern, and now he was even pleased with his dedication.
