Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion
Chapter 436 - 435: Unclassified
"This level of destruction is outstanding…" Dr. Elias spoke as the other senior researchers took deep breaths.
Splitting a planet in half…
Suddenly, SCP-682 convulsed as its body slowly began losing control. After all, it was now in space, and there was no oxygen to breathe.
But soon enough…
It adapted.
Void grinned.
Bam.
Void attacked again, this time with Quasi
Rank 1 power.
The damage was horrifying.
The already split planet was completely devastated, and at the same time, the Foundation realized something terrifying..
Before SCP-682 could die, it had already adapted.
It could now survive and breathe in space.
The attack landed as SCP-682's body shattered apart repeatedly.
It was adapting…
But not as quickly as before.
Its wounds were taking longer and longer to regenerate.
Everyone understood that the attacks were becoming increasingly dangerous. Sometimes, not even a drop of blood remained. Most of the time, barely ten percent of its body survived.
Yet with each regeneration…
Its body underwent another transformation.
Even in space, they could still observe everything clearly. Darkness surrounded the battlefield, but enough light from the stars remained for them to witness what was happening.
And just as SCP-682 fully adapted...
The planet finally exploded.
Booooooommmm
The massive world detonated as countless chunks of rock and debris transformed into giant asteroids that drifted past Void and SCP-682.
After confirming SCP-682's adaptation once more, Void paused.
He seemed to be gauging something.
Then, after seemingly making up his mind..
He attacked again.
At first, Dr. Elias and the others were confused about what Osiris was doing.
But soon, they understood.
Osiris was testing whether SCP-682 could survive the next level of attack.
SCP-682 was incinerated.
At least, to the naked eye, it had vanished completely.
But the monitors and Foundation equipment still detected traces of it.
Its molecules were still active.
Then, with shock, they watched it regenerate.
At this moment, SCP-682 had evolved once again.
It had now reached a level where it could be considered a planetary-level anomaly.
Destroying planets now seemed entirely possible for it.
SCP-682 roared, its voice resembling the shriek of a banshee as its body grew larger.
Now, its size had reached hundreds of meters as it clashed against Void.
But every swipe and attack from SCP-682 stopped just a few meters away from Void before disintegrating.
And now…
It seemed capable of creating faint energy-based attacks.
Bam!
Void slapped it aside as a new, even larger battlefield formed beneath them.
SCP-682 crashed into the ground, its body twisting uncomfortably as it struggled to move.
Blood poured out from every part of its body.
It roared before disappearing, moving at several times the speed of sound as it desperately tried to strike Void.
But it still fell short.
Bang!
For a moment, they had the illusion that even the stars dimmed.
SCP-682 vanished once more.
This time…
Its molecules…
Everything about it…
Was gone.
Silence spread.
Seconds slowly turned into minutes.
"Is SCP-682 dead?" Dr. Elias muttered in disbelief.
How could this be?
No… that wasn't the real issue.
How terrifying had that attack been?
And if such an attack struck Earth…
Would they be vaporized instantly?
Dr. Elias looked at the monitor.
Anomaly: Primordial Demon Osiris
Classification: Keter → Unknown
The update was instantly transmitted across every Foundation Site.
Finally, after five minutes, they noticed movement.
A small tail appeared.
Then rapidly...
A massive body dozens of kilometers in size began reforming.
Sharp thorns protruded across its scales, while strange green markings glowed around its body.
It looked even more impossible and terrifying as it floated within space.
SCP-682 had evolved once more.
Void smiled.
"You survived… interesting," he muttered.
And then..
Both Void and SCP-682 moved simultaneously.
They collided.
Although SCP-682 still could not physically touch Void, its attacks had grown far stronger, generating wave after wave of shockwaves that destroyed nearby stars.
At this point, their speed had surpassed the speed of light.
Thankfully, with Void's assistance, the Foundation personnel could still observe the battle clearly.
Bang! Bam! Bang!
Space trembled violently as stars after stars were obliterated.
Solar systems were hollowed out as planets were destroyed one after another.
Bam!
Of course, Void still held the upper hand as he continuously smashed SCP-682 around the battlefield while SCP-682 endured every single attack.
Energy pulsed across SCP-682's scales as it continued clashing against Void.
And slowly…
Very slowly…
Void increased his output bit by bit.
From Early Rank 1…
To Low Rank 1…
Middle Rank 1…
High Rank 1…
And finally...
Peak Rank 1.
At this level, stars were casually destroyed, whether dwarf stars or otherwise.
More importantly…
Entire solar systems were being erased with ease.
At this moment, the containment methods being proposed by the Foundation had become increasingly absurd as they desperately continued observing.
Once again, Void pulled back and observed SCP-682.
And almost as if on cue...
SCP-682 stopped as well.
"It's happening again…" Dr. Elias spoke as the others nodded, their expressions growing even more serious.
It had already happened once before.
Whenever Void was about to increase the level of his attacks or ascend into a new realm of power, he would pause briefly…
Attack…
Pause again…
Then attack once more.
It had already happened once.
Was it about to happen again?
While Dr. Elias and the others were still pondering...
Void attacked.
He waved his arm, and instantly, only SCP-682's head remained.
But the very next moment...
It fully regenerated.
Its body expanded even further, now reaching thousands of kilometers in size.
At this point, Void compared to SCP-682 was like a grain of sand before an elephant.
Yet strangely enough, they could still see both of them clearly, something the Foundation still could not understand.
Dr. Elias was stunned.
This…
How was this possible?
Previously, when Void attacked, SCP-682 had nearly been obliterated and required time to regenerate.
But now…
It healed instantly?
"Sir… that entire region is dark," a researcher suddenly reported through the communication channel as one of the monitors zoomed out into the distant battlefield.
Gasps spread across the room.
"This…"
"a whole star region gone …?"
At this moment, the way they viewed Osiris had shifted from curiosity…
To fear.
The region spanning countless light-years had once been filled with stars and planets.
Now…
Everything was gone.
Entire sections of space had been erased by that single attack.
Seeing this, Void nodded slowly.
"Good. That means you should survive the destruction of an entire galaxy," Void spoke calmly.
Clank
A metallic instrument slipped from someone's hand and crashed onto the floor.
But no one paid attention to it.
They were terrified.
Stunned.
Horrified.
Alarmed.
Uneasy.
Disturbed.
Frozen.
Speechless.
Dumbfounded.
Breathless.
Unnerved.
Overwhelmed.
A storm of emotions filled the observation room.
A galaxy…
One similar to the Milky Way Galaxy.
"I am ready…" SCP-682's voice echoed out.
And immediately, they noticed the difference.
SCP-682 had changed.
At first, it only wanted to kill all lives.
Then, after being subdued by him, that hostility began changing.
And now…
It was excited.
It could feel that every one of Void's attacks was testing its limits while simultaneously pushing it beyond them.
With every evolution, it could feel its strength increasing wildly.
It had become addicted to this feeling.
It wanted more.
And more.
It even wished for it to never end.
