"Hmm…" Void looked toward space. Unlike Dr. Elias and the rest of the Foundation, who saw nothing, he saw more.

SCP-682 was pushed to the third layer of space, and its body was being destroyed over and over again. But it was stubbornly resisting. Its body was working overtime to adapt to Laws, but this was a fundamental difference. No matter how much it adapted or how much it tried to survive, it failed again and again.

"Roooarrrr!" SCP-682 roared from the third layer of space as Dr. Elias and the rest were stunned. They heard a terrifying roar that seemed to shake galaxies.

It was a roar of unwillingness. SCP-682 wanted to survive. It wanted to become more. It wanted to control its fate. But alas, it failed. It was failing.

And finally, Void watched as SCP-682 crumbled into nothingness bit by bit.

And finally… gone.

Void sighed, then looked at Dr. Elias as he spoke.

"This anomaly is dead. It has been destroyed," Osiris said as everyone trembled.

No, this couldn't be right. They still wanted to study the new SCP-682, and if it was already dead, then what were they looking for? What kind of goal were they chasing? How could they study an anomaly like SCP-682 again?

But while their minds were filled with thoughts, Void continued.

"There's another thing I wanted to tell you," Void grinned as he spoke.

"In as much as there is destruction in creation, there is also creation in destruction."

Shiaaaa—

Instantly, space ripped apart as a fully humanoid-like being appeared.

It looked exactly like a human being, except its face could not be seen, and its body glowed.

"SCP-682 is dead. It has been reborn as a more compact being," Void said as the Foundation's eyes widened.

It succeeded? Does that mean they were standing before a universal-level being?

While stunned, Void spoke again.

"And this completes my observation. Any more than this, and it might be erased."

Then Void turned to SCP-682 as it knelt.

"Discover the rest of your path on your own," Void said as SCP-682 nodded.

"Yes, thank you," SCP-682 said, and with that, it disappeared, leaving the Foundation stunned.

The reptilian that once wanted to destroy all living beings had been transformed into a universal-level being, and Osiris let it go?

"And I won't leave you without gifts," Void said as everything turned back into the room it once was.

Three things appeared in front of Dr. Elias.

First, a small crimson blood. Then a cracked marble. And finally, an ever-changing liquid.

"First, this is basic demon blood. You can study it," Void paused.

"Next are fragments of Laws. Study them, and containing other SCPs will become easier—well, except for the terrifying ones."

"And lastly, that is chaotic energy. It can also be used to contain anomalies, but it may help you discover your path," Void finished as not only Dr. Elias but the other senior researchers felt overwhelmed.

These gifts were terrifying, and Osiris was helping them, giving them more than they ever thought possible.

"Thank you," Dr. Elias said. That was the only thing he could say. This was more than a gift—Osiris had done great things for the Foundation.

Void nodded and then disappeared, appearing outside Earth. But just before Dr. Elias could begin studying, a senior researcher spoke.

"Are we going to let him go?"

"Yes, it is a new being from outside. If we study it, we can gain more."

"Yes, if we can capture it, we can get even more than this."

Hearing this, Dr. Elias shook his head. He was truly disappointed with his colleagues.

"It seems you have forgotten that this being is greater than a universal-level entity? That...this being could easily erase us? Has years of being in power made you lose all common sense?" Dr. Elias asked, then shook his head.

"You should focus on containing SCP-682 and stop the useless greed that breeds foolish ideas," Dr. Elias said as he retrieved a container to store the three items Osiris gave them.

"Prepare the warp," Dr. Elias said as he entered it and appeared at Site-120.

His face was full of excitement.

And once the monitor. Osiris information was updated once more.

---

Outside the planet, everything that had happened was observed by Void, who calmly dismissed the terrifying energy he had been creating.

For him, he was once human, and he understood humanity's greed best. He would not hesitate to wipe them out—not because they could pose a threat to him, but because he simply would.

He was now a Rank 4 demon, and with that title and his age came changes in his behavior.

Unlike the once war-lust Void, Void was now more like a multiversal calamity and deserved respect—and fear. It was that simple.

In fact, although this verse was both strong and weak, Void was not even supposed to be here. Perhaps a Rank 3 demon would have been fitting; Void was too high for the Foundation, but not the highest, considering other terrifying SCPs.

With that done, a portal opened behind Void as he left.

Now leaving the Foundation in a race against time.

SCP-682 was searching for ways to evolve and grow stronger so it would not be captured by the Foundation again, while the Foundation was racing to absorb the knowledge they had received, process it, and improve their capabilities.

Fifth Layer of the Abyss…

At Void's multiverse…

Void had arrived, and his slaves were already waiting for him.

"Welcome, Master." "Welcome, Void."

Of course, only Linkir could call Void by his name. That was an authority granted only to her as the first slave, and also a testament to her strength.

Now everyone was aware that being called "the First" was not without reason for Linkir. She was that strong.

"Hm, where is the Sword Demon?" Void asked as Linkir stepped forward and replied.

"We built a prison beneath your home, Master. He is being kept there," Linkir spoke as Void nodded.

"Good. He is to be kept there for five hundred thousand years," Void said.

"Yes, Master." "Yes, Void."

Void then ignored them and entered his mansion, instructing Linkir to follow him.

Inside, with both of them alone, Void asked,

"Have the demons arrived?"

"Yes, Master. As for suitable candidates, we are currently screening them. Once done, Master, you will see Rank 3 demons and Quasi Rank 4 demons in your home, and our basic structure will have been created," she said.

"Good," Void smiled, then chuckled as he looked at Linkir.

"By the way, I have a task for you and my other slaves. I need you to go to different multiverses and make a name for us."

"Dreadborne should be known. Play with those worlds' laws, destroy their origins, and make their strongest creatures kneel before you," Void said coldly as Linkir's eyes gleamed.

"Understood," Linkir said as she left.

Once she was gone, Void spread his palm.

An energy without form floated around. This was the result or benefit he obtained from his trip to the SCP Foundation.

Its name was not fully grasped by Void, but even this tiny trace of energy was stronger than his peak attack. This energy alone was infinitely stronger than anything Void could currently produce. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

"Could this be… rules?" Void muttered as he squinted and observed the energy.
