Chapter 647: Chapter 519: Second Update

"In this way, the client loses part of their soul, just as their healer experiences a lack because they haven’t learned to understand their own soul. For trainers, a series of concepts can never constitute training analysis; therefore, trainers must personally walk through this healing process to know how to more effectively help the client." After a slight pause, Ning Youguang continued, "You understand what I mean, right?"

The big boss only has mental issues, but there’s no problem with intelligence.

He certainly understood, so he slowly asked, "Have you been troubled by mental problems before?"

"Yes." Ning Youguang slowly lowered her head, her neck feeling a bit sore. "There’s a saying in our industry—’Only wounded healers can heal wounds.’

But she didn’t know that her actions were interpreted by the person in the wheelchair as if she was uncomfortable.

"Do you want a candy?"

"Candy?" Ning Youguang raised her head in surprise.

The person in the wheelchair softly asked, "Would you like a lemon candy?"

Ning Youguang didn’t know why the other person suddenly wanted to offer her candy, but at this moment, she must maintain an entirely accepting attitude towards him.

"Sure."

After responding, Ning Youguang waited for Shi Wangyue to get candy from a jar in a certain cabinet at home, but unexpectedly, the other person’s wheelchair didn’t move.

He directly took out a lemon candy from the pocket of his black jacket.

"Thank you."

—A big boss who carries candy with him.

Ning Youguang expressed delight at her new discovery.

She opened the candy wrapper and stuffed the yellow, plump lemon candy into her mouth.

Focusing while eating candy.

She heard the other person ask again, "Why did you choose to become a healer?"

This question is easy to answer; she’s often asked this.

But she needed to refine her language to tell the other person.

Ning Youguang took the opportunity to crunch and swallow the lemon candy in her mouth—

"When I was in high school, I once had a high fever at school, and was very sick. At the time, I was abroad, living alone in the dormitory, so when I was sick, there was no one else around. Finally, it was my teacher who noticed I hadn’t attended class for two days, came to my dorm to find me, and sent me to the hospital. I remember after arriving at the hospital, I hazily heard the doctor telling my teacher ’this student may not live through tomorrow,’ and thought, ’I probably really will die and never see my family again.’

The next day, when I woke up and found I was still alive, I started pondering a question, ’Am I already dead, was I dead yesterday, did I wake from the previous dream to a new dream, am I already dead, died abroad without any family around me.’

Since that day, when alone, I’ve loved to think about matters related to life and death—

"Where did I come from, where will I go after I die?"

"Is living doing a dream, does dying mean waking from the dream?"

"What truly is the meaning of my life?"

...

Thinking about life and death is the beginning of a person’s awakening."

—And awakening is often accompanied by great pain.

"The candy is very sweet." Ning Youguang opened the bottle, took a sip of water, and continued, "I was different from those around me when growing up. While other children were happy every day, I often felt lonely and hopeless, completely out of place.

But after this illness, my confusion turned into a question that humanity has pondered for thousands of years, yet still has no standard answer.

So, how can I break free from this confusion?

I began immersing myself in the school’s library daily, reading various books—astronomy, quantum theory, medicine, philosophy, religion—hoping to find some answers.

Eventually, I became enthralled by the books of psychological masters like Freud, Jung, Erickson, Satya, Hai Lingge, Mi Niuqing.

I fell madly in love with knowledge relating to psychology. 𝒻𝑟ℯℯ𝑤𝑒𝑏𝑛𝘰𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝒸𝑜𝘮

I felt as though I had ventured into a mysterious new world.

Strangely, as I grew interested in these psychological concepts, more and more professionals in the field of psychology started appearing around me.

I began studying with them.

Years later, I discovered that the loneliness, despair, and the odd books I had read in the college library, along with those courses I had taken, had turned into a vast wealth for me, unknowingly transforming my life, personality, mindset, and values—like being reborn.

These experiences also enabled me to understand patients with various psychological disorders.

After graduating from college, I worked as a doctor for two to three years. During this time, many patients confided in me about their pain and confusion.

I would share with them some of my confusion and experiences, along with the knowledge and methods that had previously helped me, also sharing how our world is constructed from great falsehoods, and how we can awaken to find more meaningful goals and directions in life.

In this process, I found providing psychological and spiritual comfort brought more happiness to my patients than purely curing their illnesses.

In the second year of being a doctor, I found the most meaningful thing in life: bringing health and hope to those in great pain—not just physical, but spiritual.

I began planning to establish my own psychological studio.

Gradually, more visitors came to my studio, and more of them were changed, reclaiming the power of life, healthily walking out of my studio.

My life became more fulfilling and happier.

Then, waking up one sunny morning, I suddenly realized I hadn’t been caught up in the pain of delusional thoughts for a long time.

I found I could empathize with others.

At that moment, I felt becoming an excellent healer might be the mission of my life."

Ning Youguang’s face showed gentle satisfaction and a smile, "Later on, I discovered that everything I had gone through in life wasn’t superfluous; those pains and trials had shaped and helped me become an excellent healer.

Now, I look forward to every day of my life.

Whenever I sit in the studio facing different people, different symptoms, accompanying them, helping them get rid of their mental pain, helping them find themselves, I feel incredibly happy.

Life is full of unexpected surprises; no one knows what will happen tomorrow.

But every night before bed, I pray, hoping I can always help others become better versions of themselves, because life is always full of surprises; I never know when a miracle will happen." 1314
