Leo came out of the store with a dozen picture frames in his arms, and the rest were going to be delivered at the house later on. Lily walked beside him and she noticed that her father was rather silent. She asked, "Baba, what are you thinking about?"

Leo hummed and replied, "I am only thinking that the sudden raise in the level of tech might be causing the financially weak people are struggling. If customer is looking for the technologically enabled vendors and service providers, it would cause a gap in the social economy. I didn’t take this into account."

Lily nodded and then said, "Ma had taken things in account. They are working for this, no?"

Leo shook his head and replied, "No, it doesn’t matter what the government has to say about this. This is about the situation that I created. So, I will go back home and think if we can handle this."

Lily shrugged and nodded, because Leo was really not going on to sit down and wait for someone to step up for him. With the alien life signs discovered, he knew that if the society didn’t rise collectively, it would leave a lot of trouble for the human race in the long run. The weak will end up becoming tools to the rich.

This thought kept knocking against the top of his skull, as they drove back home. Lily found that Kyle and the rest have already arrived, but they were standing outside the door. She frowned and walked over to ask, "Uncle Kyle, why are you people standing here?"

The man smiled and replied, "Young Miss, we have been all waiting for you."

Leo sensed something and said, "Zeenat, take Lily inside, let me talk to these guys."

Zeenat nodded and led Lily inside the house, and the young miss knew that her Baba was going to handle somethings. Leo looked and Kyle and asked, "What is going on?"

The latter replied calmly, "The head of security told us to wait for you, Jamal, and he also said that while we are here, we should only act within a limit."

Leo frowned, and said, "He didn’t let you because we were not home?"

Kyle nodded, and Leo asked, "What did he tell you about the accomodation?"

Kyle shook his head, Leo turned around to look at Jamal who was minding his own thing in the distance and then he said, "I will make a call."

Then he led the men inside and had them all sit down in the living room, where Bailey and the bot Beta attended to them. Leo called his wife, and the call was again picked up by the assistant, where Leo had to leave a message, "Call back when you get the time."

Then he called his own assistant, June, the call was answered in a blink and the young lady asked, "Hello, Sir."

Leo replied, "Good evening June, I have two tasks for you today, can you ask Keval, Cherry, and Percie to connect with me in a meeting and at the same time, can you find out one of the biggest mansions in the neighborhood, and find me the details of the owner, I want to fucking buy a big ass place and turn it into my Man Den." 𝘧𝓇ℯ𝑒𝓌𝑒𝑏𝓃𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘭.𝒸ℴ𝓂

June chuckled and replied, "Alright, Sir."

She understood what was going on, because Kyle had told her everything before Leo came back home. The young guard had been dating June steadily now, and he was very happy in the relationship, and JUne was his go to listener. After the conversation finished, the young man took a hammer and some nails from the store and began to pin the photos around the living room wall. Bailey watched from the side, before she said, "What a wonderful arrangement sir. This surely adds that charm of your own to the place."

Bailey was a middle-aged lady and she was very genial, the reason she was working as an attendant in the house of the cabinet minister was because she was retired from military and this was her last stand. She had served in the Army Logistics department and thus she was a qualified person to work as the house manager. Another reason Snow had picked her was because Bailey’s son had died protecting the nation and now only her grandson was alive.

The little child was almost the same age as Lily, but he was studying in the military boarding school and Bailey had to earn to fund his education. So this was why Snow selected her, someone who had dignity, experience and discipline to work in her house.

Leo smiled to Bailey when his phone rang once again. He picked up and saw that it was from June. The young man picked up the call, and the young lady said, "Sir, I have mailed you all the details from the people that own the mansions around you. Do you want to negotiate by yourself?"

Leo nodded and replied, "Yes, I will handle this myself. At least let me appear a little sincere to them."

The young lady nodded and said, "The meeting with the Directors have been fixed for 10 in the night, they all are pulling late hours these days."

Leo frowned and said, "Fine, I will talk to them then."

He put down the call, and opened the list of names and people that June had sent to him. The process was clean, along with the name of the people, the details of their properties were also listed. He found a few fellow businessmen among the list, but he prioritized the properties adjacent to Snow’s government house. This way they would be able to facilitate meetings and stuff with ease.

As he was thinking which one he should contact, Snow came inside the house. Her face appeared to be the epitome of exhaustion, and she was looking haggard as well. Leo frowned, he stopped whatever he was doing and stood up to go and get her. As he reached her, he held her in his arms, Snow was surprised, but then she let loose, and the moment she did that, Leo patted her back and said, "Have you been skipping meals for the meetings?"

Snow sighed and replied, "There is just too much to do. The lower levels are flooded."

Leo nodded and replied, "I noticed that, I will be having a meeting about this as well, and you need to relax a little."

He guided her to the couch, and Snow noticed that Kyle and his men were all standing in the side. She asked, "Why are you all standing here? Sit down."

Kyle shook his head silently, they were casual around Leo, because the Boss was one of their own, they spared regularly, but Madam had a distinguished status.

After one try, Snow gave up on persuading these guys, they were always stiff around her anyways. Leo turned to look at Bailey and asked, "Can I get a pail of lukewarm water with some crystal salt in it?"

The attendant nodded and then she moved around quickly arranging a servant to bring over the water. Leo took of Snow’s shoes, and massaged them as he found them covered with blisters. He frowned and looked at the lady before he said, "Snow Marlins, I am warning you, if you tried to play the heroine and forget that you have a family that loves you because of the designation you hold, I will turn things on their head."

Snow was surprised but then her expression softened, she knew that Leo was worried about her. The young lady nodded and replied, "I will be careful from now on, will put on the flat soles or ortho shoes."

Leo shook his head; the pail of water was brought over and Leo asked her to lower her feet down. Then he sighed and his phone rang. He was surprised that the person who called him was June. He checked the time and found there were still a couple of hours before the meeting, and picked up the call, as he asked, "Yes, June."

The young lady replied, "Sir, Mister Cail found that you were looking to buy out the property and he is willing to sale it to you. So, he reached out to me, and then I ran a back check, I found that he is facing trouble with his capital chain. The house happens to be your left neighbor. It has the biggest area in the vicinity as well."

Leo thought for a second and said, "Fine, if that is what he wants, buy it out according to market price, I want to sign the agreement and the deed transfer in the morning tomorrow."

June agreed, and the call was disconnected, Snow asked, "What is going on?"

Leo told her about everything that was going on with the security detail in the house, and Snow frowned, she said, "I had told them that Kyle and the rest would be Prime security personnel, is he trying to act like he owns this place?"

Leo frowned, he didn’t expect something like this to happen.
