Apocalypse - Infinite Resource System
Chapter 181: Horrifying scene
The more people who know, the greater the competition. After all, there aren’t many third-level zombies.
So, Waldo quickly found another target.
"Let’s go for this one; it’s the closest to us!" he said.
Alanna and Helen had no objections. Soon, the three of them appeared on another street. There were many zombies here, aimlessly wandering about. Some were rummaging through piles of trash, and others were even tearing at each other, their faces covered in dark blood.
"Which one is the third-level zombie?" They hid in the shadows, not wanting to be noticed by the other zombies. The three of them scanned the area quickly, trying to locate their target.
Waldo soon spotted a very strong female zombie. In a corner of the street, she was holding down an equally strong second-level male zombie. The male zombie’s pants had been removed, and the female third-level zombie emitted roars of unknown meaning.
While the sounds resembled roars, there was a hint of pleasure in them. The scene was horrifying!
Alanna and Helen, who had noticed this, blushed involuntarily and turned their heads away.
"Is this... a third-level zombie?" Alanna stammered, her heart pounding, and her speech becoming somewhat disjointed. "My goodness, what is she doing? Can zombies do such things? This is the first time I’ve seen anything like this!"
Waldo was speechless, too. He had never seen such a shocking scene. A female zombie, in the midst of hundreds of other zombies, forcing herself on a male zombie? This was beyond imagination, and it was shaking his beliefs.
"Couldn’t she find a more secluded place for this kind of activity?" Waldo couldn’t help but comment. "She’s quite unique. It’s the first time I’ve seen something like this. Most people wouldn’t be able to handle this scene."
Helen blushed slightly and said, "Is this what a third-level zombie is like? Did you notice that the second-level zombie is desperately resisting her advances, but it’s completely ineffective? In front of a third-level zombie, it’s like a child."
"This third-level zombie is incredibly powerful, and it seems she possesses some intelligence," Helen added.
"Of course, if she didn’t have intelligence, how could she control these zombies?" Waldo replied.
"So, that’s the part I’m most worried about. Having intelligence and not having it are completely different. Without intelligence, no matter how strong an individual is, it’s useless. But once they possess some intelligence, everything changes. If one day, more powerful zombies are born, or worse, they could directly control all the zombies in the West District, then the entire City No. 25 would be in grave danger."
Alanna pondered for a moment.
Waldo and Helen nodded in agreement.
"No more talking, let’s get to work!" Waldo said.
He quickly walked out, with a clear goal in mind: to confront the third-level zombie.
The tasks were divided differently for Helen and Alanna.
Helen and Chubby were responsible for dealing with the second-level zombies, eliminating them one by one.
Alanna, on the other hand, led West to kill all the ordinary zombies.
"Die!"
Using stealth and teleportation, Waldo appeared directly in front of the third-level female zombie before she could notice him.
The third-level female zombie, who had been indulging in pleasure, suddenly shivered as if startled. Then, she gave a fierce glare at the second-level male zombie beneath her.
As it turned out, it was Waldo’s sudden appearance that had startled the second-level male zombie, causing him to cease his activities.
This displeased the third-level female zombie greatly. She stood up and ruthlessly stomped on the belly of the second-level male zombie. The second-level male zombie wailed in agony and rolled around.
Waldo was taken aback. "This is really something else!" He watched the scene, feeling a cold shiver down his spine.
He couldn’t help but imagine what would happen if Helen or Alanna gave him such a kick.
The thought sent a chill down his spine.
However, he didn’t stop his actions. He appeared directly in front of the third-level female zombie, and his Critical Strike Warrior Blade suddenly appeared in his hand, swinging towards the third-level female zombie.
In fact, when facing such a formidable third-level zombie with an incredibly robust physique, close combat using bladed weapons was more convenient and delivered greater power compared to using firearms.
Roar!
The third-level female zombie let out a furious roar. Initially, she hadn’t paid much attention to this weak human. Little did she expect to be ambushed. What was even more unexpected was that her incredibly tough body couldn’t withstand the weapon he held.
Roar!
The third-level female zombie cried out in pain. Taking a hit from his blade was no walk in the park for her. A few more hits, and she might be done for.
So, she made the surprising decision to flee. Her speed was astonishing, and she showed no signs of slowing down. This didn’t align with her previous domineering behavior when she assaulted the second-level male zombie.
Flee? So decisively? Zombies also knew fear and how to run away?
Seeing this, Waldo was momentarily stunned. This was his first encounter with such a situation, and he couldn’t help but feel baffled. After all, he had never experienced anything like this before, and his reaction was a bit slow.
"Run? Do you think you can escape?" Waldo snorted coldly, quickly realizing what was happening, and he pursued her. His teleportation speed was astonishing, far surpassing the third-level female zombie’s.
Seeing this, the third-level female zombie’s face showed a hint of anxiety. She let out another roar. Roar! Immediately, several second-level zombies rushed over, attempting to temporarily block Waldo’s path.
However, they were all easily dispatched by Waldo, just like ordinary zombies. In front of him, the difference between these second-level zombies and ordinary ones wasn’t significant, and he could easily cut them down.
Soon, Waldo caught up with the third-level female zombie again.
"Sorry, but I need that source stone, so you’ll have to pay with your life!" Waldo shouted angrily.
Ignoring the fearful and pleading look in the third-level female zombie’s eyes, he engaged in combat with her. It didn’t take long for the third-level female zombie to let out a wail.
Then, her body slowly fell to the ground, bearing numerous deep cuts, and the most critical injury was the decapitation of her head by Waldo.
