[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel
Chapter 385: Danger
Queen Elizabeth was in the dining room, drinking tea while staring into the distance. She was sitting with Cordelia and Lenny, who also seemed as uneasy as she was.
Eden had told Lenny to stay back since he was the one who had some powers, so he could protect them in case of anything. But Lenny still felt uneasy about everything.
They had been like that for a while, quiet and uneasy, wondering if Eden was okay and what he was doing by now.
Lenny sighed. "Are you sure we shouldn’t do anything?" He asked, feeling uneasy. "I think he might be in trouble... I don’t know.. I just..."
Queen Elizabeth sighed. "I also feel the same... but maybe we should trust him? Maybe he knows how to handle it all..."
Cordelia sighed. "I don’t feel at ease about it... What if something happened to him...? What if he was tricked or something...?"
While they sat there, contemplating what they’d do, the boys arrived.
Lysander, Elvis, Leo, and Adrian made their way in after their return. It was a rare scene for them to be talking and laughing about something while making their way in, but it seemed like it.
The four of them were getting along when they arrived.
Queen Elizabeth tried acting normal, along with the rest. They forced smiles and tried to pretend as if nothing was happening.
"What would you boys like to eat? I’ll ask the chef to make it," Queen Elizabeth said.
"I think I should go and get my room prepared..." Cordelia was terrible at lying.
"I should also go and do something..." Lysander expressed.
They weren’t as good at hiding it as they thought they would be, and the boys instantly picked up that something was wrong.
Elvis paused and stared at Queen Elizabeth. "Wait, what’s wrong?"
The atmosphere was quiet as they stared at themselves. The boys suspiciously stared at the three of them as Lysander asked, "Why are you all acting so strange?" He stared at them.
Queen Elizabeth forced a smile. "Nothing at all. Everything is fine. I’m just tired... That’s all. But don’t worry at all. I should have the chefs prepare your meal now. It must have been a long day for you all." She smiled as she got up to leave.
But Elvis still wasn’t having it. He came to stand in front of his mother, demanding, "Tell me... what’s wrong? Why are you all acting so strange...?"
At that moment, Leo looked around and then asked, "Where is Eden... and Helen?"
The boys looked around and also noticed that neither of them was around.
"Yes, where are they?" Adrian asked, approaching.
They were quiet for a while. They had promised Eden not to say anything, but at such a moment, it was getting harder to keep the promise.
"Where are they?" Lysander asked. The boys didn’t seem at ease at that moment and demanded an answer from them.
But Queen Elizabeth said nothing. No one did. And then Leo guessed he had to piece the puzzles together.
He looked and thought for a while before he said, "He went to meet the Emperor, right?"
As soon as he asked that, everyone turned and stared at him.
Lysander and Elvis stared back at the Queen. "Is that so?" Lysander asked. "Did he really go to meet that bastard... alone?"
Queen Elizabeth was worried about Eden, so she didn’t say anything. She slowly sat down and stared at the cup of tea before her without saying anything.
And at that moment, the boys already had their answers.
They didn’t hesitate much. Immediately, they all turned and made their way out of the mansion. They went to the Empire to help Eden.
And Lenny had no choice but to follow them as well.
While they were gone, Queen Elizabeth and Cordelia were the only ones left. Cordelia stared at the Queen as she asked, "I think they’ve found out. Now what?"
Queen Elizabeth said nothing. She quietly stood there staring into thin air for a while before she finally spoke up with a soft sigh. "Maybe it’s for the best... I guess it is." She smiled as she picked up a cup of tea. "I only pray it all goes well. I pray so."
---
Helen was outside the palace. She was standing at the exit, helping people leave the palace as soon as possible.
Eden had told her to do so. He had asked her to stay outside and help the innocent workers of the palace exit the place before things got too messy.
And she agreed, going in and helping them all out to prevent them from dying from whatever was going to happen. At least she’d try to save as many people as she could.
She was outside helping them all out while the fight grew chaotic. There were now explosions from inside, and some parts of the building were slowly falling apart.
Helen looked up with a sigh. "I hope he’s okay..." she thought while helping people out. The people were almost done now.
And it was at that moment that a huge explosion took place.
A massive purple light from the hall had exploded and led into a huge blast that sent things flying in all directions. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
It had also blown Helen and some people off from where they stood, crashing them into the ground with massive dust erupting into the atmosphere.
The people immediately got up to their feet and ran off. Helen slowly got up to her feet, clearing the dust from her face as she looked up in the direction of the explosion. A portion of the palace building was damaged, and she couldn’t tell what exactly had happened inside.
But before she could even think, she heard familiar voices from behind.
"Helen!"
"Are you okay?"
"What happened?"
She instantly turned around to see Adrian, Leo, Elvis, and Lysander approaching on their horses. Lenny had taken the form of a horse too, approaching them. And he had turned back into a cat as soon as they arrived.
They all got down from their horses to help Helen stand properly.
"What happened?" Elvis asked as they all stared at the dust from the explosion. "Where is Eden?"
