Building the Strongest Pavilion in Another World
Chapter 76: Was he Seeking Death?!
"Hehe, don’t glare at me like that. I’m very scared!" Cody deliberately made a fearful face, but he immediately glared and stomped harshly on Shen. "Damn, who do you think you are? You’re just a lowly dog from Dragon City, and you still dare to abuse your power in front of us?
Today, I will let you understand that opposing us was the most idiotic choice that you have made in this lifetime!
I want you to watch as your friend, because of his relationship with you, has his arm crippled by me, and become a cripple forever!" He always deliberately used the word friend instead of customer, just to show the people watching the consequences of being around Darius in the future. Guilds were ruthless in their ways, and power had corrupted them long ago.
After saying so coldly, his right hand holding a sword, his eyes fixed upon Shen’s right arm, obviously intending to cripple this arm of Shen’s. For a fire mage, having the arm that wielded his fire magic crippled would mean that he would become an absolute cripple, a lot of spells couldn’t be performed without having your hands.
Everyone was shocked. This was the Dragon City Academy, and there was obviously a teacher present here, yet Cody actually dared to commit such a violent crime so publicly in front of everyone. Could it be that his Wolf Fang Guild had become the boss of the Academy and even the four generals don’t dare oppose them?
"Hahahaha!" Cody laughed loudly, raised his sword, and lowered it in a slash.
"Shen!" Annie screamed shrilly, grief-stricken. She was filled with anguish and had already spat out a mouthful of blood in her emotional turmoil.
Swoosh!
It was at this moment that Darius moved swiftly, and his figure shot towards Cody.
"Get lost!" Those four young men standing behind Cody all made their own moves. Four hands attacked in unison, an intense wave of Spiritual Energy rolled out in a powerful wave, and became four huge palms that aimed towards Darius, all of them were clearly mages at a glance.
They were four elites of the True Qi Realm...even though not all of them were that talented. However, True Qi Realm would still be True Qi Realm, and would be able to completely suppress an opponent who was merely in True Qi Realm low or mid layers, what more when there were four of them. Even if they had not used any kind of spells in their attacks, they were still incomparably powerful.
A frosty aura emanated from Darius as he stepped forward to parry the attacks of these four men.
Was he seeking death?
The combined attacks of four elites of the True Qi Realm caused someone who was merely in the early layers of the True Qi Realm to actually neither dodge nor avoid, but step forward to receive their attacks head-on. Where did he get such courage from?
Peng, peng, peng, peng.
A series of blasts was heard, and instantly the observers’ expressions became utterly astonished!
They could only watch as four figures were flung outwards from a heavy impact, and who could these four figures be but the four Guardians of Cody?
Darius did not even pause and had already arrived at a spot right above Cody’s head. With a Pa sound, his foot was firmly stomped onto Cody’s head.
Tong!
A muffled sound was heard, and Cody’s entire head was firmly pressed into the ground. He was forced to kneel on the ground while his arms were helplessly hanging by his sides and his bottom was raised high, as if it were a flower about to blossom.
"Bam!" Darius’s figure dropped down onto the ground, and he suddenly spat out a mouthful of blood.
That was not because he had been injured by the four Guardians from Wolf Fang Guild. In fact, it was because he had injured himself when he had contained all of that energy from earlier without slowly digesting it. That blood was merely because he suppressed that energy for some time and wasn’t an injury to begin with.
Dead silence filled the air. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
A cultivator in the early True Qi Realm actually defeated four elites of the True Qi Realm’s ninth layer...who could actually believe such a feat was possible? Who could accept such a reality? Though Darius had indeed suffered some injury and spat out blood, this could not in any way conceal his radiance.
No!
"He is also at the ninth layer, the intelligence of the Wolf Fang guild was flawed!" Someone commented as he sensed the aura emanating from Dariu’s body, his jaw almost dropping to the ground.
Hearing his words, everyone took another look, and indeed, they felt the aura was that of a ninth-layer True Qi Realm, but...He is still one person against four, no matter how they looked at it.
That was too awesome, wasn’t it?
Darius finally smiled calmly and said, "Now that there is no longer a fly noisily buzzing around, the world has indeed become much more peaceful and quieter."
"Shen!" Annie had covered her face earlier, as she could not bear to watch as Shen was crippled at Cody’s hands. But when she heard the astonished gasps of those around her, she opened her eyes and saw that not only was Shen not injured, but even Cody was subdued. She could not help but be overjoyed at the turn of events and rushed over to him.
Darius helped Shen up and said, "I’ve involved you in this matter."
"Aren’t we friends?" Shen asked musingly, recalling Cody’s constant scream of being friends.
"Haha, friends, that’s right, we’re friends!" Darius clapped a hand on Shen’s shoulder. Shen was one of his pavilion customers, and while they didn’t interact enough to be considered close, after the matter today, he didn’t mind calling him a friend. Such was men, being friends only takes a moment, and even enemies of years could become friends at a whim.
And for his friends, Darius could become completely crazy.
"Annie, take care of Shen. I still have some debts to settle with somebody!" Darius said darkly. Shen had been horribly beaten up and would at least need about a month to rest and recover from his injuries.
