Clan Prosperity Starting With My Servant Girls
Chapter 406: The Family Must be Together
The grandson expected the golden rings to hit Lin Xuan Qi on his head from both sides while he would plunge his hands into Lin Xuan Qi’s chest and take out his heart.
He had done this so many times and he expected it to be over in a split second.
However, none of what he expected happened.
Clank.
When the golden rings got near to Lin Xuan Qi, they fell onto the ground giving out a clanking sound as they slowly wobbled to rest.
The grandson also felt an immense aura pressing down onto him when he got near to Lin Xuan Qi.
Cough.
It made him cough out a mouthful of blood and kneel onto the ground.
"Argh... Who are you.... How is this possible..." The grandson had to use his hands to try and keep his body above the ground.
But it took more and more effort for him to do so.
Lin Xuan Qi shook his head and shrugged his shoulders at the grandson.
Thud.
The aura pressing down on the grandson increased and he was now lying on the ground with his body and four limbs pressed onto it.
"Help me.. grandma." The grandson turned and tried to seek help from his grandmother but his grandmother had her full attention on Lin Xuan Qi.
It was too late for him.
Crack.
The sounds of bones cracking could be heard when Lin Xuan Qi made use of his ability from the system.
Blood pooled below the body of the grandson and he thrashed around for a few moments before lying on the ground motionlessly.
The grandson didn’t even have a chance against Lin Xuan Qi.
Lin Xuan Qi turned his focus at the old lady and he lunged at her.
The old lady couldn’t believe what she had witnessed.
The man in front of her didn’t have any trace of Spirit Qi, and yet, her grandson had been nailed onto the ground by his oppressive aura.
Lin Xuan Qi must have been some unknown ancestor that could suppress his cultivation level, the old lady thought to herself silently.
She began to think of running away from where she was.
As rogue cultivators they didn’t have any loyalty for Lee Qing and the Six Pulse Sword Sect.
She wasn’t going to be killed here after what she had gone through to reach the cultivation level of Qi Concentration Level Refined Stage as a rogue cultivator.
Being alive meant much more for her, and in the worst case scenario, she would lie low and try to get out of sight from the Six Pulse Sword Sect if they came after her.
With these thoughts in mind, she tried to turn around and get away.
But it was an impossible feat to try and escape.
When the old lady tried to move her feet, she gasped when she realized that she couldn’t do so.
Lin Xuan Qi appeared before her eyes and lifted his hand in front of her, with his palm facing her.
"Wait, you wanted to know who sent us here right? I can tell you the answer if you let me go..." The old lady begged but saw Lin Xuan Qi shaking his head at her.
He knew the answer and he wanted confirmation earlier, but he wasn’t so interested to find out now.
Boom!
Flames erupted out of nowhere from his palm and the ensuing explosion caused the head of the old lady to be blown into pieces.
Bones, flesh and white matter from her head were strewn all over the surroundings.
Lin Xuan Qi wanted to see what the old lady and the grandson had on them, but before he could do so, he heard commotion in the other newly bought factory nearby.
He quickly headed towards it and hoped that there would be no huge damages to the factory and injuries to the workers.
...
"Bloody hell!" A burly man with tattoos of dragons all over his body cursed out loud when a talisman on the wall exploded and the flames caught his right arm.
He swung his right arm around to try and put it out but couldn’t.
Guards from the Sima Family lunged at him and he had to take care of them first.
Dang!
When one of the guards hacked his knife down at the burly man’s arm, the tattoos on his arm gave out a glow and blocked the blade of the knife.
The burly man quickly gave the guard a punch and sent the guard tumbling across the ground.
The other guards came at him with their knives hacking onto his body and the same thing happened.
Tattoos on his body glowed and he caught their knives as if they weren’t real.
He swung his arms around and sent the other guards hurling through the air.
It was however, not over yet.
The flames that were raging on his right arm were still burning bright.
He had to do something before his right arm turned into ashes.
The burly man glanced around and saw that the workers had retreated into the workers’ dormitory not too far away and he headed in that direction.
He wanted to grab one of the workers to direct him to a water source.
But when he did so, a few talismans that were pasted on the pillars gave out a brown glow.
Vines appeared out of nowhere and they grabbed onto his legs.
"What the hell!" The burly man shouted in frustration and he tried to break free from the grasp of the vines.
But the vines were numerous and they had wrapped themselves onto his ankles.
He gritted his teeth while he used all the strength he had with his hands to try and tear the vines apart but couldn’t.
The vines started to wrap around his wrists instead.
That put him into a struggle with the vines, trying to break free from them.
However, it was not all.
Talismans that were pasted on the walls gave out a blue glow and water appeared out of nowhere.
The water engulfed the head of the burly man, covering his nose and mouth, rendering him unable to breathe.
