Lee Yi Hong was dealing with so much that Yuan Kai had seemed so distant from him ever since he had taken over the body and role of the Governor.

The Governor glanced into the distance and tried to recall what happened.

Yue Jie helped him put on a new set of clothes and she washed up afterwards.

When they were done, they went over to the dining hall.

Xue Cong gave a silent sigh of relief when she saw Lin Xuan Qi again.

She quickly shifted to the side, gesturing for Lin Xuan Qi to take his seat beside her.

He gave her a smile and did so.

"Here, have some." Xue Cong helped to pick up some of the meat from the dishes and put it onto his plate.

Lin Xuan Qi nodded his head at her and ate it.

"Master Lin, I will pay a visit to my old friend Liu Ju Zheng after breakfast and tell him the good news." Lee He Song chuckled and said.

Yue Jie and Yue Xin nodded their heads and were eager to see their father again.

Yue Xin wanted to go with Lee He Song but she kept quiet, knowing that it wouldn’t be too safe for now.

"Get the guest room ready for him." Lin Xuan Qi said while he glanced at Yue Jie and Yue Xin.

Yue Jie gave him a nod and replied, "It will be done."

With her reply, he glanced over at Lee He Song and said, "I will go with you."

Liu Ju Zheng was his father-in-law after all and it wouldn’t be too nice if he didn’t go personally.

Things in the factories were going fine and he expected Sima Ye to have got rid of the threats from the Six Pulse Sword Sect by now.

Lee He Song took a sip of his wine and said, "As you wish, Master Lin."

After breakfast, Lin Xuan Qi left with Lee He Song and headed for the place where Liu Ju Zheng was staying.

"It’s me." Lee He Song knocked on the door and it creaked open after a few moments.

Liu Ju Zheng peered from the side of the door, wary about whoever it was knocking on it.

When he saw that it was Lee He Song, his face appeared from behind the door and brightened up.

"Nice to see you again, old friend." Lee He Song said and patted the shoulder of Liu Ju Zheng.

"Xuan Qi?"

Liu Ju Zheng was surprised to see Lin Xuan Qi beside Lee He Song.

Lin Xuan Qi cupped his hands at him and said, "Hope you are doing well, father-in-law."

"Come in quick, we can talk inside." Liu Ju Zheng stretched his hand into the house, gesturing for them to enter.

Lin Xuan Qi and Lee He Song entered the house and Liu Ju Zheng quickly poured them a cup of tea.

Lin Xuan Qi saw that Liu Ju Zheng was looking better than he had been in the prison but he wouldn’t say that Liu Ju Zheng was healthy.

Being stuck in a tiny compound with not much freedom of movement must have been torturous for Liu Ju Zheng.
