I'm having one hypothetical concern. If his master were to order Sunny to not speak and asked him a question after, would Sunny suffocate to death due to the drawback of his flaw? So far it's just been pain, but if it went on for minutes? I'm sure it would at least be torturous as he**, if not lethal.
