<p>Certainly did not expect that, but it kinda makes sense cause Kai and Effie had the least amount of part of this story in a way. And also cause Effie doesn't really possess any ability to command people. Jet was with him the entire Antarctica, Cassie and Nephis were in the original cohort with  sunny for the forgotten shore. Mordert is self explanatory. That's how I think anyway.</p>
