Just as Reyansh took few steps, he stood at the edge of patch of the land. The scene ahead of him was a mud filled lake with small area of land, just enough to stand on his feet.

However, the disturbing scene was in the mud lake, it was filled with snake monsters, Mini Boa. He could hear the their movements amidst the mud lake.

Reyansh could sense the killing intent of every monster, like they were just waiting for him to jump into anyone of the patches.

[Fiery_Redina: What happened? Why are you standing?]

[Anonimus_Assassin: Is something dangerous ahead?]

"Not really, it’s just filled with snake monsters and I really hate snakes." Reyansh answered, glancing at the comments.

Taking a deep breath, holding both his katana tight, he jumped. Just as he was about to land, three snakes attacked simultaneously.

He pushed mana into his blade, not wanting to take any chances and kill them thoroughly. He swung his sword, forming a ’X,’ killing three monsters in one swoop.

The moment he landed, he jumped toward another patch immediately. This time only two snakes attacked, he killed them easily.

Following the rhythm, Reyansh jumped from one blotch of land to another, eliminating Mini Boas along the way.

When he landed on a relatively larger piece of land, seven monsters in unison, aimed at different body parts of Reyansh. He sensed the trajectory of every monster and focused only on his blade.

Before the monsters could attack, he flipped upward, his head and hands angled downward, he slashed three monsters. As his body returned to normal, he cut two monster in pieces.

The last two monsters were about to collide when he swung his swords upwards, forming a ’X,’ killing the two monsters.

[Cat_Empress: I am with you, they really are creepy.]

[Fiery_Redina: Now, I am imagining the scene he saw standing at that edge.]

[Ellise: @Black_Nails09, you are from same dimension as him, are all your gates this difficult at White rank?]

[Black_Nails09: No, I think he deliberately choose the gates which are either cleared very less or have hazardous environment.]

After eliminating the seven monsters, he jumped a few times more when he noticed a huge piece of land and he jumped towards it immediately.

Just as he landed, the two more snakes attacked him from behind. He bent forward and let the katana slash in a semi-circular fashion, killing the last two monster easily.

Just as their body landed, Reyansh noticed their body for first time. Their body itself resembled the color of mud, making identification difficult along with dark colored lines on their body.

He exhaled like he was holding a breath for long time before moving forward.

However, just as he stepped forward, he felt his hand tingle slightly. He looked at his nail beds, which had started to turn purplish.

’It seems the poison has started to accumulate. I have to hurry to avoid any unnecessary circumstances.’ He concluded.

[The amount of poison has increased in your body.]

[Your body will start to feel sluggish as more Poison accumulates.]

’Figures,’ he remarked as notification confirmed his thoughts.

He pushed his body further, sprinting deep into the marsh land, eliminating some croakers and few mini boa along the way.

[Raisena_Forge: Is there really poison in the fog? He is more than half way into dungeon and he has gotten faster instead of slowing down.]

[Ramon_Night: Yes, I think he should be feeling the effects.]

[Red Falcon: He is feeling, that’s why he sped up.]

’You gotta hand it to the 10,000 year old monster. His perception is probably second best after the Emperor,’ he remarked as he noticed the comment.

[Ellise: Yes, notice his nails, they are showing effects of poisoning.]

Reyansh just smiled at the chat’s reaction as he cut a croaker into two halves. As he ran few steps forward, he sensed a massive monster ahead. He slowed his approach, readying himself.

A few seconds later, he stood at the edge of a large mud filled lake. He perceived the shifts happening in the lake just due to movements of the boss monster, Toxic Python.

’What a sense of humour, python are non-poisonous but here we have a Toxic Python.’ He remarked.

Reyansh felt his hand shaking a little, he noticed that all his nails had turned deep purple due to poison.

’Okay, no time to waste,’ he stated as he formed a plan of attack in his mind.

The snake was massive in size, causing the mud waves in the lake. Its green eyes locked onto Reyansh while he formulated a plan of attack.

The Python attacked first, as it hiss open its mouth, spraying a stream of dense green poison at him.

Sensing the attack, Reyansh rolled to avoid the attack. He decided to attack only once with his full strength. He tried to push mana into his weapon, but for first time he felt resistance.

[Anonimus_Assassin: Is he going to try and one shot it too? Even at this stage?]

[Raisena_Forge: Going by the precedent he had set, that seems to be the case.]

[Daoist_kun: Shouldn’t he use the same skill he used earlier?]

’So poison in the body affect movement of mana too.’ He noted.

Despite the resistance, he used his large pool of mana to push excess mana into the weapon, both his katana glowed slight white.

Perceiving Reyansh as dangerous, Python slammed his head down in the lake, causing a huge wave of mud to move towards Reyansh.

"That’s why I really hate snakes," he shouted as he saved himself from the wave, jumping to the sideways while keeping an eye on the monster.

When the wave settled, the Python looked around for Reyansh while he bend down slightly ready to attack.

’That’s enough of your antics,’ he stated as he used Swiftstep first appearing near the head of the Python.

The monster blinked his eye trying to comprehend what just happened, a moment ago, this human was running, now he was at his neck.

Reyansh didn’t stopped at he used a second skill simultaneously, Slash, aimed at its neck.

A huge double mana slash cut through the skin of monster as Reyansh swing both his arms. He used the falling head a step pad to jump back to the land.

The Python beheaded, died its eyes still twitching.

He made his way to the back of the cab and ordered, "Thunderhoof plains."

The driver obliged as the cab moved towards the next destination.

Reyansh closed his eyes feeling his body recovering with help of Resurge and his talent. A few moment later he opened his eyes to notice the color of his nail beds returning to normal.

A notification brought his attention while chat waited silently for him to recover.

A smile bloomed on his face under the mask, ’This is what I was aiming for.’
