Chapter 79: 079 | StarWalker’s First Unexplored Gate

People and vehicles were fleeing in the opposite direction of gate. Even though there were no monsters, the phenomenon caused by appearance of dungeon itself forces people to flee.

Some people saw Reyansh running towards the gate with the mask on, few shouted his name, StarWalker, but he ignored it for the moment and jumped ahead.

’Just what did you do, boss?’ Lyrielle asked, she was still sitting comfortably on his shoulder, her legs dangling in front.

’That’s a talk for later,’ Reyansh replied as he finally stood at some distance from gate.

He saw a council member, Local Gate Officer, standing at some distance away.

"Has anyone entered the gate yet?" Reyansh asked the LGO.

Just as LGO noticed Reyansh, his eyes widened, he remain glued to his place.

"Hello, officer," Reyansh called out again.

"Yeah...no...no one has entered this dungeon yet," the LGO finally answered.

"Okay, I am going in," Reyansh notified and moved towards the dungeon gate.

"Best of luck, sir," LGO shouted from behind.

As Reyansh stepped closer, he saw the gate itself was embedded deeper into ground.

"So, the dungeon environment will probably be similar to caves or tunnels," Reyansh deduced from the dungeon phenomenon surrounding the gate.

He looked at the gate, it was violet in color with no etchings or marks. Another sign of a newly formed gate.

The type of monsters could only be identified after entering the gate. Half the reasons these gates are called unexplored gates because of unknown monsters.

"Is Stream ready, Lyri?" he asked.

"Yes...boss?" she looked up at him a bit confused by the shortening of her name.

Reyansh stepped closer, just as his fingers were about to touch the gate, his body was pulled into the gate. Lyrielle also entered with him.

Just as Reyansh appeared on the other side of gate, his senses became alert and a katana manifested in his hands as mineral dust assaulted his nostrils.

’Good title,’ he thought internally.

Lyrielle also appeared, sitting on his shoulder. Though her eyes looked focused, like she was about to face a battle of her own.

Reyansh looked around as tiny crystals on the walls illuminated the surroundings.

"Tunnels it is then,"

’Boss, many viewers and even your subscribers has joined the stream.’ Lyri spoke.

"Hello, everyone, Welcome back to StarWalker. Today we are going to explore and clear a newly formed violet rank dungeon."

[Raisena_Forge: Cool, let’s see your skills in an unexplored dungeons.]

[Anonimus_Assassin: This one will be fun, again.]

"However, before we continue, there is one little announcement. From now on, this channel has a manager. Her name is Lyrielle Streamborne."

"Please show her the same courtesy and don’t cause any problems for her." He introduced.

Lyrielle appeared on the stream for a moment. However, before Reyansh could speak further, a tremor caused him to misbalance slightly.

"Now, as the introductions are out of the way, let’s move forward."

Reyansh peeled his eyes, his sense and mental energy mapping the area ahead for any monster, while the chat exploded upon the revelation of Lyrielle.

[Fiery_Redina: WHAATT!]

[Storm_Knight: I am not too surprised, this is just one more entry on his list of impossible things he done yet.]

[Lyrielle:] Okay, kids, thanks for your attention on me, but let’s focus on our StarWalker. This is his first rodeo in an unexplored dungeon.

Reyansh walked deeper into the tunnel, it bifurcated into two tunnels.

He extended his senses, trying to find a best path forward. Both tunnels felt almost same to him. This was the first time, his senses didn’t give out any useful information. He decided to enter the right tunnel.

However, before he could take a step forward, he felt the tremors again, more close this time.

The next moment, he saw two round worm like monster appeared in front of him. Their body was covered in thick brown scales.

’So what kind of monsters are these? Let’s test them out,’ he thought.

Reyansh viewed their weak spots with his True Sight and rushed at the monster in front. He used a stone slab on ground to jumped onto the body of the Wyrm.

He brought down his sword with full force, aimed at a point above mouth of the monster. The sword looked like it was about to cleave its mouth, however just an inch before, a stone slab appeared, blocking the strike.

Reyansh jumped back before the other monster could attack. While it writhed in pain after stopping a fatal attack.

’Was it a skill?’ he wondered as he created a distance between himself and monsters for the moment.

[Maxx_Jane: Does anyone knows what kind of monsters are these?]

[The Blazing Sandra: Earth Wyrm, their stone hide is tough.]

[Raisena_Forge: That’s why his first attack only injured the monster.]

Immediately, Sandra’s message glowed slightly in front of Reyansh. He read the comment immediately.

’Was it you, Lyri?’ he asked.

’Yes, boss,’ she answered.

As Reyansh jumped back, one monster dug its jaws into ground and started burrowing. The other monster, swung its tail at him.

He somersaulted backwards, moving away from aim of the tail. Just as he landed on the ground, he sensed slight vibrations on the ground.

Without wasting a moment, he jumped in the air. A second later, the jaws of monster erupted from the ground.

"You guys think you are so tough, right?" He addressed as he started pouring True Flame into his Katana.

As he started falling down, his sword became red hot as the sword started absorbing the flame.

Before the monster could go back into the ground, he swiped his sword through the lower end of its mouth.

His Katana cut through stone scales like butter.

Just as his feet landed on the ground, the monster fell down behind him, cleaved in half.

The monster in front sensing the danger swung its tail again. Reyansh jumped forward, he still kept pouring True Flame in his sword.

He rolled forward, narrowly avoiding the consecutive tail swipes.

The next moment as the sword reached its saturation of flame, suddenly the sword was covered in fire.

However, the sword didn’t melt instead it felt like the flame and sword had become one.

A notification panel chimed in corner of Reyansh’s eyes.

[Congratulations! Your weapon had obtained its first ability, Elemental Channeling.]

Reyansh ignored the notification as he raised his flaming Katana.

Without wasting a moment, he rushed at the monster. As the monster dug its jaws to escape. Reyansh appeared next to monster and swung his flaming sword upwards, killing it instantly.

[Daoist_kun: Since when did he had fire abilities?]

’Nice touch, boss. Keep going,’ Lyrielle encouraged.

"Let’s delve deeper, we have so much to explore." Reyansh stated as he walked forward, his sword still flaming with brilliant hue.
