After Adrian was done with planting those seeds he left. He had one destination in mind.

Unfortunately it was during the day and the person he was looking for was still at school, " Sometimes I forget I’m in love with a kid."

He sighed, "I feel like a pedophile." It seems he had forgotten they were actually the same age.

Adrian was an immortal, the one thing he had was patience so he sat and waited for her.

Time passed, ’ Has it been an hour?’ he looked at his watch and realised it had only been 12 minutes.

" Damnit!?" He cursed outloud and it seems somebody heard him. A guard came to the roof but saw nobody.

" Strange." The guard whispered then left confused. Adrian appeared next to where the guard was standing.

His claws were out, he was ready to kill the guard. ’ Why the hell did I just think about killing an innocent man?’

Adrian was confused at his own actions, while he knew his personality had changed and he was colder.

He wasn’t the type to murder innocent men for no reason. He looked at his own hands and didn’t recognise them.

He sighed, " I wonder if she’ll accept this new me.?" He suddenly felt nervous about meeting her.

" AHH damnit Adrian, that girl loves you, of course she’ll accept you" he felt two people appear behind him.

" Boss, you’re here?" Athi asked a bit excited, " You’re here to check on the princess?"

She loved gossip and romance stories and in her eyes, this was a very romantic story of a monster and a kind human girl.

" Go, go see her." Adrian raised his eyebrow wondering if she has gone mad. Suki just shrugged.

She had spent a lot of time with Athi and had come to understand her personality. Athi was the kind who loved cute things.

To her, this thing between Adrian and Annie was very cute, at some point Suki had to stop the crazy woman from killing that poor guy Cyril.

" You two watch over her, I’m going to take care of something." He left immediately leaving both of them wondering where he was going.

Adrian arrived at a game arcade and choose a particular game. It was a martial tournament game.

In the past he used to struggle but with his senses and coordination, he cleared it in less than 10 minutes.

He placed a dozen more games and in a hour he was bored again, there was only one game he was yet to play.

He stood in front of this dreadful enemy and gulped. " So we meet again oh great nemesis of mine."

He whispered to himself but the girl next to him heard him, she giggled. He gave her a side glance.

She was dressed like the staff here and looked about the same age as Suzie. Adrian took a deep breath.

" You don’t understand, I’ve cleared every game I’ve played but not this one, not this demon lord."

He sounded and looked dramatic when he said that. She laughed, " You’re funny kid, go on, play, I’ll watch, I’ll even help you if I feel like it."

He sucked in another mouthful of air and sat on the chair. He gripped the wheel of doom in front of him.

His feet pressed the metal feet of a demon they called pedals and his hand grabbed the cursed staff they call a gearshift.

It felt cold in his hand. He felt sweat trickling down his forehead. Vroom vroom, " START!" He shouted.

Boom, " You fail." The cursed machine announced as if to mock him. " This makes no sense." He whispered, sounding dejected.

" Wow kid, you really can’t drive." The woman was also amazed, she had seen five year olds drive better than this.

Adrian couldn’t understand it either, with his senses, coordination and reaction time, driving should be easy for him.

But it wasn’t, this was also the case when he was a human. His mother said his father was the same.

As soon as he stands behind a wheel it’s like he loses all control over his body. He sighed and stood up.

The woman pressed him down but he didn’t budge, she was surprised, it felt like she was trying to move an entire house.

Adrian felt red, ’ How dare this lowly thing touch me.’ his claws were about to come out when he stopped himself.

’ Get ahold of yourself Adrian, you can’t be with her like this.’ he took a deep breath and smiled.

He sat back down but the woman was still frozen. " Wow, you’re really steady kid, you work out?"

He nodded, " Yeah and I was born with very dense bones." She nodded like that made sense.

" Okay, let me help you with that, grip the steering wheel, place your foot gently..." She couched him his tongue drive.

Adrian followed her every instructions, he started the car but as soon as it left, his eyes went blind and he crashed, he played over and over again and failed almost instantly everytime.

" Damnit!" He cursed outloud.

" Wow, you’re really bad." She commented.

" Yeah yeah I know."

" No, I mean really really bad, it’s like a curse."

Adrian paused, " Wait, what if it is a curse? That would be explain a lot."

The woman laughed, " While I’m sure it would be ideal to blame how much you suck at driving on a curse, curses aren’t real."

He nodded, " I suppose you’re right, well, that’s it then, I’m leaving, thank you kind lady whose name i don’t know."

" It’s Bandi, What’s yours?"

" Adrian." He answered.

" Well Adrian, nice to meet you." She extended her hand and he shook it. " Also you’re not leaving until you learn how to drive."

He shrugged, " You’re wasting your time, I’m cursed, I’m cursed to be unable to drive."

She giggled and sat down, come in sit on my lap and I’ll teach you. Adrian flinched and backed off.

" I should tell you, I’m still a minor." He said that playful and she laughed drawing the attention of everybody around.

" You’re really funny kid, don’t worry I’m into guys old enough to be your dad, you just remind me of my little brother, come sit."

He sat on her lap and they both gripped the steering wheel. They started the game and the car on the screen moved.

Crash boom, they both froze, " Holy hell you really might be cursed!" She shouted.

" My lord, may I ask who this is?" They both heard an annoyed voice behind them.
