Morning came, the transformations ended and the werewolves looked excited, they could all feel that they were much stronger now.

However Adrian noticed they hadn’t awakened new abilities, instead their current abilities grew significantly stronger.

Amanda had the strangest look, she couldn’t comprehend her new found strength.

While she has grown stronger as a human, it was nowhere near the level of strength she wielded right now.

Adrian was also interested in her so he called her to the side. Like he did with Sam, he activated her esper energy.

A few minutes passed, when he was certain her ability had awakened, he asked her. "What’s your ability?" He asked her straight up.

She seemed to be thinking for a while, she was trying to study her ability. " Wolf rage or wrath, I’m not certain.

It seems to allow me to grow stronger the more angry I am, sort of like adrenaline but much stronger

It comes at a cost of pain though, the more rage, the more pain and the more strength." She didn’t sound happy.

Adrian on the other hand was frozen, what she had just described was a limitless type ability.

Limitless abilities were those whose power were conditional but as long as the conditions were met, they could grow endlessly.

Even he didn’t have a specific limitless ability besides the basic ability all Werewolves had.

Of course that ability was useless most of the time unless he intends to release carnage.

It’s the same ability or curse that allows even Omega werewolves to turn into full werewolves during a full moon.

As long as they bathed in the light of the full moon, Werewolves could grow endlessly but in exchange they lose their rationality.

He nodded, he had to admit, amongst the werewolves, her ability was the most powerful as long as the conditions are met.

Unfortunately, besides that she was not very different from other omega Werewolves. Of course since she was turned by Adrian.

She was naturally stronger than other omega Werewolves on the same level but the difference wasn’t that huge.

After all, at the end of the day they were still werewolves of the same rank. Currently she was weakest werewolf.

Adrian asked her to demonstrate her ability even though he didn’t expect it to work, after all real anger wasn’t just something one can bring out at will.

He was wrong, she closed her eyes as if imagining something then he saw silver aura like smoke coming out of her body.

Her eyes turned red, she was the first werewolf with red eyes. Adrian closed his eyes to sense her situation clearer.

He noticed that her blood was flowing faster and faster, a faint sound of crashing waves came out of her.

Her muscles seemed to balloon up, her veins throbbed and her heart started beating much faster.

The silver smoke actually was smoke mixed with lunar esper. Her body had grown so hot, her body fluids were evaporating and mixing with her lunar esper.

The only reason she could still stand was because she was werewolf and had extremely resilience.

Plus her lunar energy seemed to be replacing her body fluids preventing her from drying up into a husk.

Adrian nodded, ’ It’s powerful alright but it seems to have a serious drawback, disregarding the pain.

There is no way she could fight after deactivating this ability, meaning once she star.

She would have to keep it active for the rest of the fight because it seems to have a cool down period.’

" That’s okay now, you can join the others, oh and remember, I know your hatred for the organisation.

But we have worse things to deal with right now, I won’t stop you from carrying out your revenge.

However make sure it does not lead back to us, we have to intentions of fighting the Espera currently."

She nodded and left, Adrian ate breakfast and he was about to test his latest ability again.

He was most fond of that ability now when a werewolf came rushing in. It was the guy with enhanced hearing.

" Lord Adrian, I have news." Adrian looked at him and waited for him to continue.

" A group of vampires are currently stationed outside the city, based on what I’ve heard from their conversation, they’re strong.

Also, another group entered the city last night and they’re currently searching for something called anchors.

From what I heard, one of those anchors have been destroyed already." His words made Adrian pause.

" What did you say?" He asked again and the man repeated his words. Adrian frowned.

He ran to Meggie’s study and searched for a map. This was the map of the city but it was different from a normal map.

It was a magical artefacts detailing all the magic formations around the city including the one about the barrier.

He looked at it and noticed one of the spots on the map has turned black. The city was hexagonal in shape.

It was a magic formation itself, each corner of the hexagon had a spot and one of those corner spots had been destroyed.

Since the city was hexagonal, it was natural that each corner would represent a magic anchor for the magic formation.

Adrian was certain the vampires would realise this as well, right now he could only bet on them being unable to walk out during the day.

He left the study and went back to the living room. He used pack call to summon everybody.

After the werewolves showed up he had Suzie address them, Adrian hated public speaking.

To them he acted all cool like he couldn’t be bothered to address them, the truth was that he was just embarrassed.

He has briefed Suzie about what to discuss." Those of you with scouting and stealth type abilities will spread out and search the city.

I need you to find the nest of those vampires before night fall. I need ten with combat type abilities.

You will guard these five places in pairs, make sure they’re not destroyed, watch out for anything suspicious and I mean anything, now go."
