Chapter 467: One Month Or Seven?

As soon as they landed in their bedroom on the same spot from where they had left. Aselia felt dizziness wash over, and just as Xiran steadied her on her feet she fumbled with the straps of the satchel. Opening it she let it drop on the ground and clutching her mouth she rushed to the washroom.

Xiran’s concerned eyes followed her and after folding his wings he made his way to her. She was retching. Nothing similar had happened when they had teleported previously, so why was she feeling sick now?

He rushed forward and held up her hair as she spilt out the contents of her recent meal and slumped on the tiled floor which seemed to have been recently cleaned.

"You alright?" he questioned, flushing the toilet and squatting down beside her.

"I guess, all that swirling after eating didn’t sit well with me. Although I have never been nauseated before," she explained, wiping her face she got up to gargle. Xiran helped her up, his face still marred with concern for her.

Aselia cleaned herself up while Xiran assisted her, they were still in the process when their bedroom door was frantically knocked. They gave each other a quizzical look, it had been a long time and they weren’t sure who it would be.

"Come in," Xiran ordered, exiting the washroom. Frila entered like a whirlwind, her pupils widening in shock and her mouth flinging open.

"Señor, you are back. We have been so worried," her voice trembled in excitement as her eyes frantically searched for Aselia.

"Yes, sorry we disappeared like that. It happened instantly and we didn’t even understand what had happened until it was too late," he explained as Aselia emerged from the washroom, still a bit dishevelled, all energy seemed to have been sucked out of her.

"Aselia!" Frila rushed to her and Aselia’s face beamed seeing her friend. Both of them embraced and held on.

"I was so anxious, I have been sleeping here and trying to keep the place clean, impatiently waiting for your return. So happy you people are safely back," Frila explained, still keeping her hands on Aselia’s shoulders.

"I apologise we made everyone worry. We accidentally teleported ourselves to Tromalius," she sighed, still feeling dizzy and her hand shot up to her head. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

"Leia! You should lie down. Frila! Can you get her some water?" Xiran took Aselia from Frila and led her to the bed while Frila nodded her head and went to get her some water.

"Xiran! My head is still whirling and the nausea is not going away," she queasily whispered. He took her in his arms and laid her on their bed, rubbing her forehead.

"It will be fine soon."

Frila brought a glass of water and Xiran helped her chug it down. She lay down again and closed her eyes. Xiran let her rest.

"Frila, can you call Rivan and let him know we are back and also arrange some refreshments," Xiran asked and she left their room after nodding in affirmation.

"Try to sleep, we will meet others once you wake up and will inform them of our bonding ceremony. We can also decide when we want to hold our wedding after conferring with others. But for now, I want you to rest," Xiran lovingly stroked her luscious golden hair and she snuggled with him, trying to find solace.

Frila informed Rivan and Yurian of their return. Yurian had moved to Fritez City and had been staying at Hotel Cafris after Aselia’s disappearance, holding onto the belief that she would return one day.

He screamed out in joy when Frila’s joyous call came and instantly called his mother.

"Mom! I have great news. Leia is back and I am about to go meet her," he hollered through the speaker.

Esma who was about to drink water, dropped the glass in excitement.

"Heavens! Is she alright? Did you talk to her? Where had she been? We want to meet her too. Let us know when it will be a proper time to come," she spoke breathlessly, not believing her ears.

"I don’t know, Mom. I yet have to meet her. Let me do that first and then I will call you again and let you know all the details. I will talk to you later, heading over there now," Yurian disconnected the call.

He put on a clean pair of pants and a blue shirt before heading out towards their home. His heart loudly thudded as he got in his car and changed its direction.

Reaching their house he could see Rivan’s car was already in the parking lot and he knew Frila would already be there. She had been keeping the place ready for them.

The past seven months had been painful but her constant presence was becoming addicting. Frila was another reason he had chosen to stay in Fritez, her calm demeanour and loving heart had won him over but he was too afraid to confess. Knowing she might not be ready to move on.

Stepping down from his car he meandered towards their home and knocked. Frila opened the door and warmly smiled at him.

"I was wondering when you will show up," she knowingly teased and his heart warmed up at her action.

"I had to see her. Is she alright?" he questioned while making his way inside.

"She is a bit nauseated because of the teleportation but other than that she is glowing. The time away from here seems to have done her good," Frila filled him in as they made their way inside and found Rivan waiting in the living room as well. He had just arrived ahead of him.

They greeted each other and the door to the bedroom opened. Xiran stepped outside in a white regal attire, composed of some material they knew didn’t exist on Altair.

Rivan rushed to him without any hesitation and tightly hugged his best friend with a tight expression. Xiran embraced him with a sly grin, knowing his friend was pissed and a lecture was imminent.

"You got any clue how fucking worried we were. Both of you disappeared without a message or call, leaving everything behind," he grumbled to Xiran.

"I know, come sit and we will talk and I will explain everything," Xiran requested pointing towards the sofa. His eyes then fell on Yurian and both men firmly shook hands.

"I want to see her," Yurian requested after the formalities had been met.

"She is resting but Frila will take you to her. I am sure she wants to meet you too. She missed you all terribly," Xiran informed him while taking his seat with Rivan and gesturing to Frila to take Yurian inside.

He followed her to their bedroom. Frila took permission and entered and Yurian did the same. Aselia was huddled under the blankets her eyes wandered to Yurian and she flipped the blanket and rushed to him. Frila smiled and left them alone to get everyone something to eat and drink.

He was ready for her and collected her in his arms as they both lovingly hugged.

"Oh! Yuri, I missed you. How have you been?" she nestled in his brotherly touch, her heart seemed all emotional.

"I was so worried that I thought I would lose my mind. Don’t do that again," he whispered as they separated. A warm smile of satisfaction had graced his lips seeing her so radiant.

"I am so sorry but it happened by accident. We didn’t plan it and I would never leave without informing you," she held his hands and the rim of her ring brushed against his skin. Yurian glanced down and saw the emerald ring glistening on her finger. He held up her hand.

"Did you guys?" he couldn’t complete the sentence as he tried to register the shock.

"Yes, we did. We needed to do the bonding ritual, it was essential to complete the bond between us so we had to. Don’t worry we will do a proper ceremony here with all of our loved ones. That’s why we rushed back after a month."

"Congratulations! I am so happy for you partner. This is what I had always wanted for you to find resonance with someone. And I hope he is treating you well and will continue to do so. But it has been more than seven months not one since you people disappeared. I have been counting the days," Yurian was elated for he could see on her face how content she seemed. But the time she mentioned baffled him.

"Oh! I forgot that time moves at a different pace on both planets. We only stayed there for about one month and a few days," she explained and it made sense to Yurian.

"I see reason now. I am just glad you are back. Mom and Dad have been extremely worried too and they want to come and meet you. They will be overjoyed to hear the good news. Rony missed you terribly as well. He whimpers at times and sleeps on your old bed," Yurian filled her in about everything that had transpired. Making her all emotional.

"I miss everyone and now I want to meet them. As soon as I get my phone back, I will call them and arrange a get-together. My poor Rony," her lips quivered, for them it had been seven months and she had to make up to everyone.
