Aimou couldn’t help but exclaim, "Overlord Xilin..."

A figure swiftly rushed towards Aimou, picked her up directly and hoisted her onto his shoulder. Once her vision cleared, Aimou realized she was being carried by Nesanel, with the bloodied Bologue on one side and Geoffrey struggling to follow behind them.

"We can’t stay here."

Nesanel spoke while leading the two to the edge of the battlefield, where Palmer and Lebius were waiting. Palmer seemed the least injured among them; in fact, he hadn’t suffered any injury. During the fiercest part of the battle, this lucky one was knocking about aimlessly in the fog.

"Wow! Bologue!"

Palmer exclaimed at Bologue’s injuries, even though he was an Undead, it was still too gruesome. However, compared to Lebius, Bologue’s condition was nothing.

Lebius lay on the ground, his breath weak but not fatal, with little sign of life. For anyone normal, they would have fainted by now, yet he kept his eyes wide open, staring at Xilin’s return and the fury of the First Seat.

"Yes, that’s right, Lebius, witness it all."

A sinister voice hovered beside his ears. At this moment, next to Lebius, Belphegor was half-crouched, righting Lebius’s head and prying his eyelids open, forcing him to watch everything. It seemed only Lebius could perceive Belphegor’s presence.

Nesanel looked up at Xilin’s action, his expression hidden behind a lion’s mask, silent.

The mist tide rushed towards Xilin like a torrent, but in front of Xilin, it seemed as if there was an invisible blade effortlessly cleaving through the rolling mist. Numerous specters snarled and slashed within the mist, but around Xilin, it was as if surrounded by an invisible barrier. When the mist approached Xilin, it was disrupted by powerful repulsion, unable to advance.

Xilin’s eyes ignited, massive amounts of Ether burned within the Alchemy Matrix. He operated like a long-dormant machine, vowing to crush everything in his path.

Terrifying power was released from Xilin, dreadful ripples pulsed outward, stirring the dust. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

As Xilin advanced, the ground around him began to move peculiarly. Suddenly, a wisp of dust from the fine smoke was drawn towards Xilin. The next moment, the whole land shook, countless dust particles rose several meters high, with billions of grains suspended.

Xilin waved his hand, gathering billions of particles into black lines that wrapped around his body. They were countless tiny iron scraps separated from the dust and soil, melted into a solid Iron Armor by the command and forging of Secret Energy, covering Xilin’s bare skin.

Amidst the crisp sound of iron clashing, more and more scales and plates piled up, forming an Armor gleaming with a cold light. Cracks filled the metal surfaces like shattered ice, with nearly molten golden light flowing within those cracks.

The First Seat let out a raspy howl, charging out from the Sea of Mist, the Cry of Confession reached its zenith, its melody striking Xilin without the slightest effect. Xilin merely frowned, as if feeling a sharp pain.

Spreading his hand, making a gesture to stop, the enormous repulsion engulfed the First Seat, suspending him in mid-air, unable to advance.

A raspy voice emerged from the First Seat’s throat, "Xilin..."

Xilin maintained his indifferent smile, his gaze void and unfocused, seemingly looking towards a distant place.

The mist sea suddenly surged with a sharp sword light, shattering the sound barrier, with residual thunderous echoes, directly piercing through the First Seat’s body.

A bowl-sized wound was drilled through the First Seat’s mutated body, with the flesh compressed into foul blood, bones crushed into powder, and that sword light slowed and returned after a piercing shriek, stabbing towards the First Seat once more.

This time, the First Seat raised the Sword of Confession, the blades collided, stopping the piercing strike, it was then the First Seat saw clearly that the blade was the Immovable Sword.

The Immovable Sword was knocked away, spinning rapidly in mid-air, while another scream closed in on the First Seat, he looked out, a fiery burst burned through the mist sea.

Like a burning Fire Meteor plummeting towards him, its extreme speed stretching the flames, drawing out a blazing line throughout the mist sea.

Where the Fire Meteor passed, high temperatures boiled the air instantly, generating terrifying pressure waves. It too broke the sound barrier, with a piercing roar, rapidly approaching the First Seat.

As the Fire Meteor neared, the surrounding environment and objects suffered devastating impacts, creating numerous sparks and light spots, provoking a series of explosion sounds and flashes.

The First Seat gathered the Age-Stealing Mist, crashing into the Fire Meteor. Thick white mist enveloped the flames entirely, the Seeker of Glory’s ether reactions wielded the Secret Energy fully, accelerating the decay of the flame, barely suppressing the deadly Fire Meteor. Yet, as the flames extinguished, the familiar blade pierced through the mist.

The First Seat recognized this blade, Supreme Secret Sword: Core Flame Sword.

He didn’t understand, clearly the Supreme Secret Sword was by Shadow King’s side. When beheading the Shadow King, the First Seat searched all around but didn’t find the Supreme Secret Sword; he thought the Shadow King tossed it into the Great Rift to prevent him from obtaining it.
