Chapter 1113: Chapter 121: Ring of Swords_3

Shadow King, Blade of Xin Yan, figure within the Cross Sword Light, Xilin’s return...

Fragment after fragment of shattered information surfaced in the First Seat’s mind. The First Seat felt as though he had grasped some crucial element, yet the message fluttered away like butterflies from his palm.

The First Seat didn’t have time to ponder further. He picked up a pure Ethereal Blade, its dazzling light cleaving the Blade of Xin Yan. After a brief roll, the Blade of Xin Yan stabilized its sword body, and as Ether poured in, flames once again enveloped the blade.

The scorching metal sizzled, intertwining with the Immovable Sword, then returned, hovering behind Xilin. Besides these two blades, two other blades hovered behind Xilin, which were weapons left by Gray for Xilin: the Blood Transfer Sword and the Silence Sword.

The blades of the four Secret Swords pointed outward, slowly rotating behind Xilin, resembling a ring of light composed of blades. The edge of each blade brimmed with the power of Ether, each invoking its own abilities: igniting fireworks, creating a sense of spatial displacement, unleashing corrosive poison, and embodying cold and absolute metal.

At this moment, Xilin seemed to truly transform into a Celestial God. Raising his hand, he pressed down, causing the earth, riddled with cracks, to collapse instantly, turning into fine flowing sand. Screams, roars, the howling wind, the sound of collapse, and the sand scraping against metal...

The sound of the rock being split impacts everyone’s eardrums, and after the sandstorm collapsed, it revealed the pitch-black Abyss.

The earth beneath their feet disappeared, simultaneously subjecting the First Seat to the weight of tons of gravity, forcing him and Xilin to plummet into the Abyss together.

The Abyss steadily collapsed outward until it reached the location of Bologue and others, where it gradually came to a halt, forming a perfectly symmetrical circle.

In the pitch-black Abyss, the power of the Seeker of Glory was unleashed without reservation. The radiant glow of burning Ether illuminated the darkness like the scorching sun. This light surged out of the Abyss, transforming it into a burning volcanic crater, with deadly lava poised to erupt.

Within the descending darkness, the First Seat extended his hand, with bone claws as long as sword blades piercing into the cliffside, tearing through countless rocks. His descent stabilized, but on the other side of the dust, fiery Fire Meteor collided forcefully, forming a blazing tail, growing ever brighter and larger. Upon contact, it spawned a zone of chaos, with searing flames consuming everything and burning every inch of flammable material.

Amid the aftermath of the explosion, the First Seat swiftly leapt out, but the Blade of Xin Yan still closely followed behind him.

The blade appeared in a state of combustion, seizing oxygen and fuel from the air, forming a strand of blazing fire that plummeted at meteoric speed, instantly flashing past the First Seat and leaving a rapidly scorching, terrifying scar on his body.

The air, scorched by high-temperature flames, transformed into lightning-like brilliance, tracing a bright trajectory. This trajectory glowed with intensely bright spots, illuminating all the darkness.

The radiance vanished in an instant as the Immovable Sword sliced through the air, strangling once again at the First Seat. Amidst rapid descent, the First Seat struggled to cope, eventually crashing headlong into the Crossroads of Hesitation.

The twisted architectural cluster built on the cliffside had suffered numerous waves of battle impacts, with rapidly decaying bodies everywhere and constant trembling echoes resounding. Building after building slid down into the Sea of Mist below.

Before the First Seat could rise, a blood-colored Cross Sword Light bloomed behind him. As he turned, the scarlet Blood Transfer Sword pierced into his chest. Xilin made a pinching motion in thin air, and the First Seat’s entire arm was subjected to immense force, twisted and crushed, erupting into a mass of filthy blood amidst the sounds of snapping bones.

"Damn it! Damn it!"

The First Seat cursed repeatedly. He couldn’t understand why things had turned out this way, nor could he fathom why Xilin had been resurrected.

The severely wounded First Seat faced Xilin, who was filled with rage and at his peak, making the outcome of the struggle abundantly clear.

Xilin pulled out the Blood Transfer Sword, with the Cross Sword Light dissipating simultaneously. Once again, Xilin struck a Cross Sword Light on the First Seat, its blood-red glow disturbing the long path, spatial displacement directly slicing through the bone armor on the First Seat’s body, rending it into disarray.

With eyes red, the First Seat attempted to expand the Age-Stealing Mist to engulf Xilin, but Xilin boldly stepped into the Cross Sword Light that cleaved open his chest, reappearing at the other end of the Crossroads of Hesitation.

Gray’s power was still too weak; he couldn’t fully wield the complete power of this Contract Object.

Xilin stared from afar at the battered First Seat, waved his hand, and amidst creaking sounds, the entire cliff behind the First Seat began to fracture. Tons of boulders collapsed and fell, completely crushing the towering ruins and severing a corner of the Crossroads of Hesitation.

This place nearly transformed into a wasteland, yet Xilin felt it was not enough.

The First Seat emerged from the rubble, only to witness the fireworks descending from the sky. The Blade of Xin Yan sliced through the air with astounding speed, breaking the sound barrier and producing deafening sounds.

It struck the ruins fiercely, triggering a series of explosions and bursts of flame. The shockwave even blasted out a blurred fireball, scattering countless sparks in all directions.

The First Seat grew weary and fatigued; despite the gifts from the Devil, it became increasingly challenging to sustain his battered body. Not to mention, his own Ether was mostly depleted amidst the incessant battles.
