[I know it is difficult to understand, but I’m also having some difficulty in properly articulating my ideas into easily comprehensible words too. All because of my improper english, though, I’m working on it. So, I’ll make sure to explain every effect and trait of the [Flames: Varkyros] more thoroughly, in more details and in an easy to understand language in the later Chapters.]

[It is the foundation, in the future I might alter something to make the power more stable. Giving it its own oneness! Don’t worry everthing will be explained and I’ll also mention what has been changed! I might even make Auguszta go through a whole evolution to eliminate all these inconsistencies and overlaps that I have noticed currently!]

Afterwards, there were also the unique traits of Varkyros, which defined how the flames behaved, while the effects defined what the flames did.

The Contradiction Enforcement Engine had its own role. There were others too that made the limitations more precise, effective even in a chaotic, unstable environment, gave absolute control, and did not let the contradiction or any other aspects affect the imposed limitations.

Because of its versatility there was much more that Varkyros could do with each of its distinctive and sole effects and traits, but all that has to be uncovered slowly.

Auguszta was still inexperienced and had yet to gain even an initial level of proficiency in her elemental power, after all.

At her current strength, Auguszta was only capable of imposing 5 smoothly capped and regulated limitations in Varkyros’s first effect—[Paradox Ember Dominion].

Clementine observed herself in fascination. The restrictions on her were like a spider’s web woven from frozen light, sticky and unyielding.

Feeling the abstruse chains of limitations made of the surrounding embers, suppressing her strength so much that her original base prowess of Class... She did not know where she stood, had fallen all the way down to Class 3: Sector Ruin Grade—Apex Sector Tier!

At least she felt like she had been suppressed to that level with her not resisting the suppression even by one.

Auguszta, on the other hand, had amplified her strength so much with her transformation ability and the imposed limitations, that her max prowess had finally broken through the thresholds of Class 4: Cityfall Grade!

Though she was still not quite there yet—at the Cityfall Initiate Tier!

While her base prowess could be said to be sitting at the high of Class 3: Sector Ruin Grade—Apex Sector Tier!

Meaning, her Effective Destruction Range had reached a threshold of whooping one thousand and seven hundred meters and the Affected Range had reached the mark of 7,000 meters.

In simple words, she had become truly powerful. Even capable of contending against newly evolved Ascension rank 4 Pureblood Monarchs even as a normal pureblood calamity because of her elemental power.

Auguszta shifted to the side. Her gaze locked with her big sister. Her right hand rising above with her palm facing towards the bright blue sky.

<Infernum Arise: Burningblight!>

RUMBLE! RUMBLE!

The ground shook, then went silent.

The red-black flames raged, then went still.

The environment halted as though afraid of the incoming cataclysm. It was correct, as in the effective radius of 1200 meters, inside her aura field—Blight Sovereignty combined with her paradox ember dominion that had a range synonymous with her affected range, the ground cracked in an instant with deep fissures appearing all over, they erupted in blight infused Varkyros towards the sky.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!! ...

It was a flaming pillar of red-black with a diameter of 1200 meters that seamlessly pierced the skies. It was dense. It was hot. It was immolating. It was radiative. It was corruptive.

And it was blightful.

The fire was like a pillar of the underworld reaching up to drag the heavens down.

The ground had already melted. The space warped from the thermal pressure. The flames incinerated the matter like fire burning cotton. The air was gone. The plasma was visible—It was erasure at a level below micro.

There wasn’t even one fragment of ash left behind.

However, the very existence the flames targeted, stood at the center calmly, wrapped in a sanguine shroud. It was blood. Blood that embraced flames rather than opposing them. It accepted them and it devoured them. It was charm. Sanguine Blood Charm that dominated the flames. Taking control of energy and matter.

[Flames are a form of plasmic matter containing energy—not completely true but it works here!]

As the pillar dissipated. In the molten ground—Auguszta looked into Clementine. "I knew you would survive this, big sister~!" She commented with a fierce grin. "However, what about this..."

She flickered her finger, activating Blightflare Devastation five times simultaneously. But this time, the red-black spheres of compressed flames were made of Burningblight and Varkyros combined with a contradiction infused on her physical defense.

The five Varkyros spheres shot onwards at a mach 1 speed. Generating sonic booms that only made her hair flutter.

The spheres would’ve arrived before Clementine in a second, but before they could even travel half a distance, 5 blood spears descended at a speed greater than mach-1 from above. Embedding the Varkyros spheres into the molten ground.

On impact, they exploded with 5 simultaneous booms. Creating a massive amount of damage and craters of dozen of meters wide sizes. The molten magma was thrown everywhere, maybe hundreds of meters in distance.

Auguszta clicked her tongue in annoyance. As she saw how easily the contradiction was neutralized. It was because of its nature—It was designed to contradict Clementine’s physical defense and not to contradict her offense. She had so much to learn and so much to improve on.

First of all—The numbers of imposed Limitations!

Auguszta activated the offensive ability of her transformed state—[Lioness of Thermal Embers] Generating about thirty-two flame fragments all around Clementine in a geometrically symmetrical shape, like a polyhedron with thirty-two vertices.

From above to front, back, side, everywhere. It was an ability combining movement plus offense for a high-speed assault.

Where in a linear direction the user passes through the target in rapid succession from one fragment to another. Connecting all of them to the target, while every pass through the target leave internal combustion marks that detonates simultaneously.

When all 32 fragments are connected—the Burningblight triggers an [Instantaneous Corruptive Decay] effect—Leading to an immediate and complete erosion of the locked target’s internal matter and energy. Leaving nothing but an empty shell behind.

A destructive move that erases even their material and spiritual core.

This is what happened; Auguszta passed through Clementine’s body 32 times in succession, activating the 32 internal combustion marks that detonated simultaneously.

It was like hearing 32 booms in a single second. Her speed was just out of this world. She was like a crimson needle stitching a shroud of death around her target.

Effectively, as a result Clementine had made a total mess of her body.

She was curious!

Curious about her little sister’s abilities.

Curious about her current strength. Like actually how weak she had become after being targeted by so many limitations.

Curious about if she was capable of defeating Auguszta or not without breaking out of the imposed limitations.

Curious, if the suppressed her had the defenses of taking her attack head on or not.

Because of her curiosity, she had already ended the passive suppression from blood harmony absolute some time ago by deactivating the sub-ability again.

Clementine also didn’t activate any of her skills to prevent Auguszta from phasing through her body. This led to the current results where the internal detonations had left her body thoroughly broken.

Leaving it in a grotesque shape!
