Within her, they only existed previously because one was already superior and the other was always heavily suppressed, so there were no such conceptual clashes of [Information] happening inside Anastasia. Coexistence was also an absolute impossibility; at least until some impossible conditions are met, the two extremes can never come together.

In this case, the impossibility was met indeed. The new blood carried within itself the information of a law whose very nature was to deny that which was true. To make the untrue—true! To make the impossible—real! It could bend the cosmic rules and the known reality.

Frost contradicted its core nature to fuse with Flame; simultaneously, Flame contradicted its core nature to fuse with Frost. As the reaction continued inside the blood cocoon, the two extreme opposites came together with contradiction keeping the perfect balance. An event of cosmical rarity was happening during that time.

At the zenith of the process, the two elements compressed tightly, and two opposite seeds were born—one Flame and one Frost. Now, with a paradoxical balance, they attracted each other instead of repelling or opposing one another. The fusion began, and at the singularity, the two elements collapsed into each other.

At last, it gave birth to the seed of a new element which was both frost and flame simultaneously, but it also held its own distinctive and sole identity at the same time.

The seed bloomed, and from it came the magnificent Elemental Power—[Eclipse].

It represented the new element of the same name: [Eclipse]. An element born directly from the fusion of two [Elemental Laws] that were ranked [Apex in the Order of Laws]. The highest order.

A rare fusion that was balanced by another assumed Utmost Law, which none knew where it stood in the grand [Order of Laws].

Eclipse, in the simplest terms, was cold and heat existing together. It gave absolute control first, and then total annihilation right afterwards, but also simultaneously. It was born from frost and flame joining together, so it could still utilize both aspects freely. With frost, it slowed, held, and weakened the target. With flame, it burned, pushed, and broke the structure.

But Eclipse was not just the two aspects mixed together. It was something entirely new. It could let Anastasia use cold and heat at the exact same time in a single action. Instead of choosing between freezing or burning, she could slow something down, then hit it incredibly hard. She could hold something still, then destroy it instantly. She could weaken something, then terminate it.

It made everything become much easier to control, then easier to destroy.

It was a purely destructive and control-type element. It could make an enemy slow down through thick ice, then suddenly crush it through strong force with fire. With it, a fast attack comes, gets weakened, then gets pushed away effortlessly. A target, regardless of whether it was a living or non-living one, stood still, then broke apart after a mere moment.

These were the mere basics of what it could do at the surface level.

—[Normally, when looking through a broader scale, Eclipse may appear similar to Velith Frost, but that is totally not the case here. Fundamentally, they are completely different and have completely distinctive paths and identities. Regardless, Velith Frost will still share some similarities with Eclipse because of the elemental power’s future Intrinsic Order evolution. There is a harsh condition that would require it absolutely, otherwise no evolution for it will be possible].

As an elemental power, Eclipse possessed ten unique traits, all highly focused towards a different type of combat function, like offense defense, offense suppression, control, support, movement, sensory, focused offense, and so on.

Overall, as mentioned, the main foundation of Eclipse was still pure destruction and control, which acted simultaneously yet separately, focused on one or multiple targets, all according to Anastasia’s direct intent and Will.

The discussion went on as they traveled.

Anastasia also informed the four about her specific traits. Actually, she also couldn’t fully describe how shocked and incredibly happy she was as she went through every piece of information in her head one step at a time.

Even though she was still a Monarch and her evolution towards the status of a Sovereign was unsuccessful, she had already become far stronger than her previous self.

She now possessed the potential to reach ranks the previous her wouldn’t dare even dream about.

Her prowess was such that even she felt slightly scared of herself.

Also, the deep emotions she felt towards Aezaleon as her mind came to understand everything—mere words just could never describe them anymore. Not only did he give her a second chance at life, which was already a miracle, but he had also granted her so much else too.

It was enough that her own father—a proud High Sovereign—would be willing to pay the price of becoming his dog if he could get even a single one of the benefits she received for the price of nothing. In fact, she was sure he wouldn’t even mind butchering his own family or subjects, or even selling his own wives to get his hands on it.

She chuckled darkly at the thought.

Afterwards, it was a long journey led by Anastasia. She guided them towards the City of Varion by following the active map displayed on the bracelet of one of the five elves.

Because of Clementine’s timely reminder, Aezaleon had taken the spatial rings and the bracelets off of the five elves before sacrificing them. Now, each of the five had a bracelet with its unique functions and a spatial ring with its own uniqueness on them.

Though Clementine did not require the latter nor the former, she still wore them carelessly anyways.

Each spatial ring contained a good amount of items in them too. From many energy stones to potions of different kinds, collected herbs, some materials, different utility items, and many other personal things too.

Also, since all five of them were actively avoiding calamities during this journey to not delay their arrival, going through the stuff inside these rings became a good time pass for them.

Anyhow, it still took them some time despite them avoiding the calamities consciously because of their leisurely pace.

They weren’t moving at their maximum speed, only half or even low of it. Initially, it was because of Clementine; since she had exhausted all of her energy previously, she was feeling a bit tired and weak, but if she truly put her mind into it, she was still capable of reaching an acceleration that was much superior to the four.

Next, it was because of Aezaleon; the poor man didn’t even have a focused movement-type ability yet. and activating concepts raw was just incredibly wasteful.

Considering that to squeeze out their maximum potential, a medium was an absolute requirement—like a cosmic law, an appropriate ability, an item, or something like that.

The girls told him to use their movement-type abilities instead since he obviously could through their link, but he refused with a smile. It wasn’t like they were in a desperate hurry, so all was good.
